Oh, you sound just like me. I buy dies, never use them, and put them away. I am pleasantly surprised when I go rummaging through my craft drawer - it's just like Christmas!!😁
Lovely card and the green and white together look nice and fresh. Love your idea of using a gluestick to attach stamps to acrylic blocks. You have so much knowledge to share and it's really appreciated, thank you.
The green and white looks so fresh and pretty. Thanks Christine, for always being a wonderful teacher and inspiration for me! Hurricane Idalia is blowing branches, leaves and pine needles all over my yard, that was a wonderful distraction!😁
I have to agree about the flowers. Somehow to me flowers like that all seem the same so I don't feel I'd get much use out of them. They seem to be everywhere though so someone must like them. Love the mowed lawn on this card. It's so interesting how the color changes whether you're blending or stamping.
Thanks Christine 🥰🦘🦘🦘I have been thinking about making some stencils with some of my dies... I too have collections of things to use one day or another. It's fun going through them😂. Beautiful card dear lady.🙏🍎 for our Teacher.
I just bought this stamp set brand new from a FB craft Destash group just this week haha, for the magnificent price of £2 including P&P I am well happy 😊xx
Hi. Thank you for sharing this lovely creation, it's very pleasing to the eye. I don't know how you managed to resist adding a butterfly to it, I know I would have and then possibly ruined the aesthetic. Thanks again and I hope you have a good day.😊
Chrissie, am taking time lately to watch some of your videos. Oh, I do enjoy them. This is a lovely card … the stencilling and stamping to create a backdrop to the spriggy leaves creates so much interest and texture! And I have tried to find those narrow arched cutting dies so many times - you’ve made some beautiful cards using them previously. I don’t seem to be able to find them in Australia. But I do love how you use them. Thanks so much.
One of the ladies I follow uses low tack tape to stop her fingers getting covered in ink. She puts her fingers on the sticky side and the clean side goes on the inked card. Hope that helps. Lovely card.😊
I love green, so this card was right up my alley. You always make everything look so easy. A beautiful card in green and white, love it! Electronic cutting machines are the way to go to make stencils for sure! Hugs, Brenda
Lovely. I tried a similar idea this morning before watching the video. I also used mowed lawn but used a darker green for the script and squiggles having no idea how well they would have stamped in the same colour! Now I know......
I don’t know if you’ve done a video on making your own stencils but if not I think it would be interesting to see how you’ve done it. This card is very pretty 💕
This is really pretty and the rounded tag shape looks great Chrissie. I have the set you used with the script and little splatters and they work brilliantly here with the pretty foliage, and the sheer ribbon and inky edged sentiment plate finish it perfectly. x
What a pretty tag. That looks great on your card, but it would look just as great if used as a gift tag on a present. Thank you for another wonderful video. - Dawn 🌅
Wonderful card! You really have mastered your Portrait; I gave up years ago, even though I have both the Portrait and an unopened Cameo. But like you, I have plenty of unused dies to choose from!
This is lovely, Chris. It seems to me that you used the green in just the perfect amount and shades so it doesn't overwhelm the card. Less, truly, is more. Delightful! You are so talented! 💚 From Cheryl in AZ
Chris, you have mentioned on occasion that when you make a large square card, you have to make your own envelopes to fit. Could you share with us in an upcoming video how you do that? Thank you for your consideration. ❤️ From Cheryl in AZ
@@rochestermanagementservice6082 it's not a square card that I make envelopes for, but a certain sized rectangle. I make the envelopes on my Silhouette Portrait!

Love the card, I must say that Distress mowed lawn is my favourite green. Jenny ❤😊
I tended to think that if was a bit bright, but for this card I love it! 💚💚💚
I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your cards this one is simply Lovley, Thank you so much
I'm so glad!💚💚💚
Lovely card and the green and white together look nice and fresh. Love your idea of using a gluestick to attach stamps to acrylic blocks. You have so much knowledge to share and it's really appreciated, thank you.
Lots of my stamps tend to fall of blocks and a glue stick is easily applied and wiped off afterwards! 😊😊😊
The green and white looks so fresh and pretty. Thanks Christine, for always being a wonderful teacher and inspiration for me! Hurricane Idalia is blowing branches, leaves and pine needles all over my yard, that was a wonderful distraction!😁

I really like making monochrome cards! 💚💚💚
With the eye of faith the small stamps make it look like tree foliage in the background, very nice.
Thank you😊

Lovely card, and you found a new color you liked. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
The flower stamps are lovely and I can see them coloured in, but as you say they're not really your style. A very fresh and Spring like card! 😇💖🙏🙌
Thank you so much!😊

I didn't even think of a butterfly this time, I must have thought there was enough going on already!😀😀😀

What a lovely description! 💚💚💚
Lovely to see a blank piece of card changed using ink and stamps into a pretty topper on a card. Thank you, take care.

The tag makes quite a statement doesn’t it? Who would have thought all the same colour and very different. Lovely.

I love the stencil you made! Creativity is being able to see what might otherwise be perceived as a bland pattern and then using it in a unique way!
