- The busiest RC park east of Mississippi. One of the few public remote control model car, boat, and aviation park in the US. People are sick of being confined and now out in full force with their RC models on Sunday

F-16 landing is typical of most of the guys that fly these jets, more $$$ then pilot skill, that landing was ridiculous.
You would think with all the money these guys put in these works of art the would also buy some landing skills!

The video title is right...Real mayhem in that flying field, no rules, no spotters, no landing or low pass callings and all kind of funny pilots with expensive planes ...looks like nobody cares, The worst part, I saw a road full of cars and transit right there in front of the field :(
I would not fly there. It's a recipe for disaster.
This club, the Markham Park Airfield in Sunrise, Florida, makes me nervous. Field is too small for turbines, right next to a highway, trees, and a busy parking lot and road, lots of poorly skilled pilots, people flying out of the pattern. And I've seen other videos at this club with some scary crashes that landed near bystanders, or in the lake next to the highway. This is a recipe for disaster. And the AMA is ok with this?
Where was the mayhem ? Where was the multiple mid air crashes ?

Welcome to Mayhem Park, where they fly jets in a small field, many of the pilots are unskilled, and the runway is only 800 feet from Sawgrass Expressway. Given its proximity to that expressway, the lack of piloting skills and poor discipline I've seen on their many posted videos it's only a matter of time before someone gets killed or seriously injured here.

Agee. Amazing it didn’t tip stall and flip onto the runway. It’s also amazing it made it back to the runway at all especially since there was some crazy servo jitter on the elevator clearly visible during the taxi. I thought for sure it would lose pitch control shortly after takeoff
I’m honestly astounded that these RC jets are legal anywhere near a population center. If there’s a practical difference between these things and command guided missiles it’s not particularly obvious to me.

Completely agree. It's insane that jets are allowed to fly at this small field which is surrounded by a highway, an active parking lot and sidewalks with pedestrians.
They are not legal near population centers, this is airclub in the middle of nowhere and big RC are heavily legally regulated, ease your buttocks.
Any number of these are overflying non participants driving inside the park as well on divided highways just outside the park. BIG violations of part 107 and yet Park ignores it.
I am shocked more than anything that this could be a legal place to fly RC planes, let alone turbines.

At my local field jets and piston planes are not allowed to fly together! Every time there would be an accident. I don’t know about you but if I put money time blood sweat and tears in that plane and some douchbag in a jet wrecks it we would be fighting FOR SURE!
So confused why he landed that F-16 like that..I was expecting to see a high-alpha pass but then he just drops it down unexpectedly..im sure it was an accident but curious to know what happened.
Came in too slow, flared way to high, and stalled it.
I've got an idea. I'm flying a trike two hundred feet above the runway, so I'll just dive in rather than make a controlled approach. What could go wrong?
I don't understand; this runway was repainted not long ago and now looks like a blotchy mess. What a difference in 6 months.

Markham park is a nice place but you have too many planes flying at one time and in different directions, no rules! AMPS is a better option to fly and it’s opened 7 days a week.
Les vols de jets sont tous identiques, rien d'original et pas très variés : ils tournent en rond, toujours dans le même sens, des low-pass à chaque passage dans l'axe de la piste, suivis d'un demi huit cubain inversé, des tonneaux, et ça s'arrête là. Aucune originalité, à part la vitesse de vol.
Don't mean to sound like a jerk but when are people going to wake up to the fact that following year after year the advice to keep up extra extra speed on landing leads to a lot of broken planes
The F-16 pilot at 3:55 didn't move an inch, he may have suffered a back injury during landing.

Before Covid we could get there at sunrise before the others and take turns flying one at a time. Now that the hours have changed to 8am I don't go anymore.

Markham is barley big enough for these jets so you better be able to handle your plane.

Typical for Markham "Mayhem" Park. Take off and fly at your own risk. Great Video as always. Miss flying at Markham, but don't miss the mayhem there. Come to AMPS more often and get some videos there, much more relaxed and safer.
It's Mayhem because it's only open Sunday and Monday now instead of only one or two planes flying at a time it's like 6 or 7
It was like that, IMO, even before covid, 7 days a week. Typically a lot of horrible landings and the occasional midair collision. I got struck from behind myself once by one of the many yahoos. Too bad cause the field is first class. That's why I moved to AMPS. We've been open 7 days a week since May and have 450 members, but I always get to fly alone during the week and even weekends only a couple in the air at once and 1/2 time alone as most of us let each other take turns.
