Really wishing I had some good insights on those questions and issues. And looking forward to seeing that springtime run up the canyon!

Right on love your videos. Rotary guy here and love that you are taking that 7 and showing it love for your son. You're an awesome dad and may God continue to bless you and your family. To answer your question or give you a lead. There is a young man, that also has a RUclips channel, Peter Sobeyejo. He is a pro when it comes to the link ecu system. And it's on his and his friends t2s and other platforms as well. Reach out to him. Also know that when messing with 30 plus year electronics and wires in an FC. It's really a headache. Actually just seeing your other video. The harness should be taken out and refurbished. That young man Peter does that service as well. Or finding an oem s4 t2 harness brand new. Anyways keep up the content.

@@some-guys-garage And if you want something more affordable. I have a solid rtek 2.1 ecu for s4 t2. Comes with everything. Immaculate condition. This is basically a plug and play system that hooks up to your existing oem harness. A good bang for your buck option while keeping the t2 as close to intact for resale value retention down the road. As these cars are only going up in value.

@@everzamora9031 Thanks for the offer. I have considered the rtek, and the idea is interesting. At this point, though, I've done the prep work for a standalone (wiring diagrams are built, plan is in place, and some of the parts have been ordered), so I'm kind of committed. Thank you!

I was also gonna suggest Peter. Hope it works out for you

@@some-guys-garage yeah no problem. And just a disclaimer I've never done business with Peter. Even though he has a lot of knowledge. Business wise I can say he lacks delivering what he promotes or advertises. And im not the only one that shares this same view. That is why I've chosen to do business elsewhere. But hey if it works out with you. Then great the kid has actually coming through and being responsible about his business. Anyways hope to see some more great content as I've already watched all your FC videos.

There a brown wire n the pressure sensor harness sílice it and ground it to one of the bolts on the coolant cap on the motor. Most things run on ground on that car.

Looks awesome. Don't know how I feel about that after market steering wheel tho.

That steering wheel seems to be the source of many discussions. It's kind of funny. I love the feel of it. The size is much better than stock, especially with power steering. Curious, is it the brand (NRG) that you don't like, the size, the look, ... ?

@@some-guys-garage Honestly just the look. Probably would have gone with a momo (MOD. 07) as their products seems more aesthetically considered, but that's just me. If it works well for you then that's great, Form follows function.

@@dead_dove1327 Thanks for the feedback. I do like it, so it works for me. The real question, though, is whether Bryson will like it. I guess we'll see after he gets home in 1.5 years. :)

Hey...a good friend of mine mentioned to me today that probe sensors might not work well if the amperage is low. Could there actually be voltage in the signal wire but at such low current that the probe sensor isn't registering the voltage? What happens when you connect a regular voltmeter to it?

Peter Soboyejo on youtube has put a link in his fc himself and made his own harness. he can probably help you out

  • @TheRogueOnes

At this point. It would do you way better going with a standalone ecu like a Hal tech and up dating the car in to the 21 century your chasing your tail with the old harness and ecu

I think you're right. I've been trying to get it "stable" before introducing a major change. I think I'm close enough. Next stop: ECU.

@@some-guys-garage it would only make sense as you will be Hunting and messing around. Buying sensors you don't need and. Eliminating a-lot of of things like the maff and. Redundant sensors
