Hey I noticed you have a cell balance check lcd. I was wanting to know if you had it inline with you balance board on you lipo I’m wanting to get one so I can look at any time to check each cell. Just seeing if you had your inline with balancer and if it would hurt anything or do I just connect when needed
I'm not using mine to balance the cells. I use mine to see the total voltage and to see the voltage of each bank. I also have an alarm set to let me know if the voltage is getting low
Is mostly louder on the kick in most vehicles, but a lot of people prefer the score from the glass or the headrest because that's where your head is in a demo 👍🔊🔉🔈
I'm guessing you're in the valley I need your help I might have to take a trip down from San Antonio. I've been in the car audio for every bit of over 20 years in my knowledge isn't even touching half of yours I wouldn't even know how to get that kind of voltage. Wow
Yes, sir, I'm in the Valley. It all depends on your equipment. My lithium bank can be charged up to 17v, but it is not recommended, i try to charge around 15.8v. I have 2 mechman 320amp alternators to charge the lithium bank, i used diodes on the alternators to manipulate the voltage, in my case. For every diode i add, i can gaing almos 0.5 volt l. I used to run 2 limitless cyber 12k, but those lithium batteries can only be charged to 14.8v max.
I can only fit short subwoofers on my box. Sundown subwoofers are very tall to fit on my subwoofer box. The new subwoofers i order should do very well on a burp and music 👍🔊🔉🔈
On my head unit, i set my max volume to 35, i use a 40Hz test tone, and i check every amp until they start clipping on the Taramps smart 8k. i get 142 volts. I set every amp at 140 volts at volume 35 on the head unit. In that way, i know I'm running clean power all the way to 35 on the head unit when I'm burping the system at 40hz 🔊
@956Bassaddict- Awesome scores @ 2 ohms per amp= a 162 Db , on approx. 16k= Hell yeah🎉 I Like how smart you are to know when the Amm-1 throws out a B.S. #, its always when it miscalculates the impedance, as this unit multiplies the power by its estimated impedance reading, and like you said, it can't be accurate, when the Amm-1 shows the impedance being Less than the wired impedance= impossible! Also, as far as i know, you will be the 1st RUclipsr to make a comparison video showing the power, and Db between the 4.11 Regular Neo 18s, vs the Hc regular ferrite 18s, and coming soon, ( the special option), 18s (You will be the 1st with these, in a RUclips SPL video) i can not wait, i am like a kid in a candy store on Christmas Eve😊. My friend, thanks a lot for your support. I'm very excited about the new subwoofers, but before i removed the HC18S, i liked to try to run more power to them with the Crescendos 17k to see what they can do with arond 25k. Thanks to these video, my wife just found out about the new subwoofers, lol 😆

I hope you are not in too much trouble, my friend, with the wife!?
I have an aregular balancer. The one with the screen i only used it to monitor voltage across the lithium bank, and i have an alarm set if the voltage gets too low 👍
I think the smart amps would have done much better wired to .5 ohm. I know that all depends on the voice coils if you're able to do that or not. Since the smart amps put out the same power .5-2 ohms they help with power loss from box rise. If you are starting at 2 ohm then they are not doing anything to help that. Wire them lower if youre able to with those subs and they will perform much better.
Unfortunately, i can not wire down to 0.5 ohms. My subwoofers are dual 1ohm. But I'm going to be trying my Crescendos 17k to see how much louder we can get it 👍🔈🔉🔊
@956Bassaddict I just watched it again to make sure but yeah since you have 1 sub per amp with dual 1 ohm coils they can either be wired to 2 ohm or .5 ohm. So that would work out perfect for you. Would greatly help the power loss from box impedance rise.
@hopskustomaudio Yes, i can do that, but i have the taramps smart 8k 1 to 2 ohm. I don't know if they can handle 0.5 ohms. I know that the smart bass 8k is 0.5 to 2 ohms. I wish I had bought the smart bass 8k. I dont know if they will give problems being wire to 0.5 ohm
@hopskustomaudio I will be installing the crescendos 17k soon to see if i can get higher spl. I have new subwoofers coming soon. With the new subs, i think we are going to be able to hit way higher numbers. I want to save the taramps smart 8k for a future project 👍🔊🔉🔈

It takes almost double the power to gain 2.5 to 3 db. I think it i can clamp around 25k watts it can probably do a 163.5 on the kick 👍🔊🔉🔈
Yo I gotta say Korean boards are way better than Brazilian boards I'm sure u would gain a ton with Korean boards wired below 1ohm these Brazilian amps are not impressive when metering lol I Had a Korean 7500.1 wired to .4 and a taramps md12k wired to .4 , I was louder with the Korean 7500.1

I think it's all preference. People lie numbers don't. With that being said I don't know how many setups are powered by Brazilian amps on the lows. Whether 35hz or lower the truth is Brazilian do play the lows. Which brings up efficiency. True the Korean half bridge are more efficient, but at double and sometimes tripple the price for a minimum marginal gain in efficiency. Which should be expected for an amp built specifically for the lows vs a full range built to accommodate the entire spectrum of frequencies. But the kick is comparing the full vs the half at the same ohms. I mean how efficient is a half bridge at 5 or lower? Very poor is the honest answer. So poor poor until most companies don't even warranty the Korean amps at .5 or give specs on it! The full range gives specsmostly to 90hz but that doesn't mean it wont play 30hz as to most half bridge amps will play at half ohm! Just not efficient enough to specify the information. So really, which is better? They both are more than likely equally inefficient when operating outside their respective spec. So ain't no one better than the other. Educate yourself on what's better for you and be happy. Bass on bassheads intelligently
