They need an electrical insulator between the cells and the metal compression. EH5 is just the form factor for this type of NMC cell. When built and run properly, they are more powerful than anything else on the market.
Hey Jerry I ordered a 29AH SCIB bank from NORTHWEST LITHIUM and I'm waiting for it to come in just got my alternator and voltage control module installed yesterday everything works perfectly but I was wondering the jag35 74AH Lev60 pro V2 battery i have currently has the same idst battgo balancer on it im wondering if it will work for my 6S10P scib bank the jag35 battery is my first EVER lithium battery so im still learning what is what and what can work with what any information would be greatly appreciated the scib bank is going to have a heltec balancer on it but no way to see what is going on with the cells
Yeah the 5.5 cells are a bit stronger they have a higher c rating meaning they can charge and discharge faster the 24 ah have a lower c rating but they have more capacity
If you not competing.... Why in the living hell would you run this type of battery. Charging at 16 volts plus is absolutely insane and obnoxious. WHEN Most Korean Amplifier now do rated power at 12.6 volt. To the average basshead stay away from this💯👍Not hating just my opinion
hey I have a lithium battery balancer on my cmax 70ah bank. I was curious about the battery meter you have. Does the battery meter replace my HA02 4S or do I connect these in tandem? I am wanting to monitor these more for bad cells

Cmax isn’t worth the hassle and risk for me, LTO all the way. Can still get plenty loud with less voltage

The Cmax works but doesn't have the voltage range that the eh4 and eh 5 cells have
