TikTok ruined Bridgerton season 3: a 100% proven conspiracy

- Once upon a sleepless night, I couldn't sleep and bombarded my friend with an over 100-text rant about why TikTok was the sole cause for Bridgerton season 3 closely resembling a trashfire in an unreasonably sequined dress. After watching this video, you too will believe that bookTok massacred the development of every single character involved in this season for reasons unknown but speculated upon.
(Very sorry that this isn't the next Overwatch video, I couldn't keep this in any longer, you understand.)

Love this analysis! I was wondering why the vibe as so off with season 3. And also yes! The rules for people of the opposite sex of marriagable age during this period (which was a fucking plot point in season 1) could NOT be alone in the same room. Just found you. Am subscribed now.
@@apersonaversion dude I KNOW!!!! I get that the writers wanted steamy moments but they could've put more effort into Colin or Penelope sneaking away to have them, not shoving it to the side. inconsistency will always piss me off (also AAAAA THANK YOU
Very interesting points! I had never thought about people going backwards and trying to make their tv shows easy and clippable enough for TikTok, I just thought it was bad writing, but that makes a dystopian level of sense. T.T When I was in highschool, I remember writing plays that were extremely tropey and wish fullfillment-y. And seeing others who wrote even more tropey. You'd HOPE that professional writers would move past this stage, but... if they're trying to be "marketable," maybe they're incentivized. o.O
@@chelseacl980 dude I actually had a section in the text flood about Eloise's character assassination and how I thought the writers had a personal vendetta against her character, specifically someone in the writers room making her a horrible person as revenge against someone they dont like irl that resembles Eloise in some way. it's fucked that this season felt like a middle school cash grab when it could've been so much more
wanted to let you know that i thoroughly enjoyed this!! i hated season 3 with a passion so this was a very satisfying watch.
