3:34 Hilarious work from Bolton with the facial expressions...not overacted either.
"Tell the children to tell the world to tell the chickens that we are on our way ."
-Diana Ross
Don't touch me I love you! LMAO
@@tommykovac1360 savage lol
to think this were to be done today... lol
Gotta love the efficiency.

Thank you! I was hoping somebody would provide this.
You can't forget the woman playing Debbie Gibson on the back row with the hat on.
This sketch is a sad reminder of the devastating losses that were Phil HartMan, Jan Hooks and Chris Farley. Comedic titans in all their fun glory!!!
SNL in the 1990s- THE BEST out of all the decades.
I agree with you and I am sure they are making people laugh in Heaven always. Thank goodness for RUclips and that way we won't ever forget them at all.
I couldn't agree with you more
SNL mount Rushmore indeed ❤
I don't think Adam Sandler gets enough credit for that Axl Rose.
He's better than Azhol, oh, I mean Axl.
He did it again in the Whitewater song.
It's pretty brilliant have to admit
Farley as Carnie Wilson. Pure gold!!!!
Carnie became smoking hot after she had lap band surgery
I always loathed Michael Bolton's music, but his ability to make fun of himself makes me like him. His spoof on Office Space was great too.
Jack Sparrow is my personal favorite Lonely Island song
2:51 "I love you! DON'T TOUCH ME! I love you!"
What's the joke here? Some news story about people touching Diana?
@@jedijones Diana Ross is known to be a bit of a diva, so I assume that's what they were spoofing.
Hilarious! I completely lost it when 'Bob Dylan' stepped up to the mic 😁
Spade as Tom Petty still has me dying after all these years! RIP Tom Petty.
Spade and Carvey portrayed Petty and Dylan during a Weekend Update with Dennis Miller around the same year. Miller says “For the Dylan impaired let’s bring in special guest Tom Petty” 😂
Same
yea he was ok but Axle stole the show
@@eltravo2112If I recall correctly, Dylan was serving as a translator for Petty. Petty would say nonsense and then Dylan looked into the camera and said, “What he said was…” and then launch into nonsense of his own…
OMG I was wondering who that was. So funny. This sketch had me in tears with laughter
This was from the Steven Seagal episode, and it was the best sketch of the night.
Let me rephrase that: MICHAEL BOLTON SAVED THE SHOW.
Fantastic skit with brilliant performances by the cast - but the single best part of the entire bit was that Sea Gull WASN'T in it!
He really did!!! This was such a relief after that show
Bolton would've been a better host than Seagal
Fact: They actually had to rewrite a couple skits, including this one which Michael Bolton stepped in and the result was a classic skit! Bolton actually could laugh at himself and had a sense of humour, unlike Segal.
I vaguely remember this sketch. My guess is that once the show got going with Seagal, I switched it off.
Mike Myers with a complete capturing of the spirit of Mick Jagger here.
Michael Bolton’s reaction to Victoria Jackson’s screeching. 3:29
Not just her voice but the bulges in her throat and blood spurting out at the end.
The look on Michael boltons' face at the end ,when that girl was trying to sing!! LOL!!!!
That look has finally been replicated. By the (now former) Japanese Prime Minister, after Donald Trump had shaken his hand a little too intensely.
His expression was to her throat bulging and blood coming out. I didn't notice it the first time I saw it but years later after watching it I see why he was looking at her like that 😂
@@teddymoulin906 dang!! Had to watch it again. 😆 you were right!!!
except the real Cyndi Lauper is an amazing singer.
"Chickens are like you and me, except they're chickens." -- Rick Dees (apocryphal, SNL). :-)
I haven’t seen this sketch in 30 years. Made my weekend. 😆
me 2
@@a-ddaigrepont3375 me 3
I was 14!!! Damn! Dosent seem that long ago!
“Mr. Farmer, take that feeding tube out of that chicken’s throat.
🤣🤣🤣
I'm dead everytime😂
These "Musicians for___" sketches were always brilliant. I remember "Musicians to get Michael Jordan to stay in the NBA" and "Musicians explain the Whitewater Scandal" as two favorites.
Adam Sandler as Axl Rose 😂😂😂
Thank you.
Wait....that was Adam? Lol. 🤣😅😆
Sandler was always at his best when he was yelling.
I've been looking for this forever. Me and my siblings would sing this song back in the day.
Tom Petty and Bob Dylan bit floored me.
Chris Farley as Carnie!!!🤣🤣😭
I’ve been watching old SNL episodes on Peacock and it’s really awesome seeing these old skits again 😂😂 but sad seeing the ones we’ve lost 😞
no worries, we'll see them again soon enough
@@s.kreusler5081 Wow, everyone goes to heaven, huh? Even people in show biz? Or do you mean we'll all see them somewhere else?
lol 2:51 Jan Hooks “I love you. DONT TOUCH ME. I love you ❤️ “
"Hello I'm Cayscshee Kayscshum"
- Dana Carvey
SNL doing what we can only imagine. So much talent every season. RIP to those they lost, so happy to see their talent again and again.❤️
Jan Hooks as Diana Ross was so awesome. I died.
So did Jan
@@GP9167 ouch
And no big deal about a little black face either!
To be fair, Diana was more of a beige face, wasn't she?
Dana Carvey was a genius..so great 😄
I like the fast change he made from Casy Kasem to Bob Dylan.
Jan Hooks as Diana Ross=fucking BRILLIANT.
Victoria's throat rupturing is the hidden gem no one is talking about!
@ou-i saw this episode and remember that part specifically. I didnt realize back then that it was done on purpose. I thought her throat really ruptured. I havent seen this sketch in many many years
I actually think it was supposed to burst and blood go everywhere, but it didn't work. Probably would have helped the ending.
It was hiliarious
who's she supposed to be again..?
@@isuriadireja91 the blonde female at the end Cindy Lauper.
Missed opportunity to stick Dan Aykroyd in the back row randomly
What a great inside joke!
That guy playing Michael Bolton is perfect! 😆
I have been looking for this video everywhere. I am so happy I finally found it!
I remember watching this live & dying laughing at Chris Farley as Carnie Wilson
Tim Meadows as Lenny Kravitz--trying not to laugh when Adam Sandler's Axl Rose begins.
Victoria Jackson’s finest moment on SNL, in my opinion.
I just watched the “We are the world Greatest night in Pop” documentary and immediately recalled a long ago recollection of a SNL parody that just made my 12 year old self laugh hysterically. A quick YT search and here I am, a full grown middle aged adult LOLing my @ss off. This whole cast was off the hook…
hahaha adam sandler as axl rose is fucking outstanding 😂
Adam Sandler as Axel Rose and Dana Carvey as Bob Dylan. Priceless.
This sketch never gets old! We laugh every time! And the message still stands .... Free the chickens!
This was from the infamous Steven Seagal episode!!!!!!
They actually were forced to rewrite a couple skits use musical guest, Bolton instead of Seagal. Fortunately Bolton was able to make fun of himself and had a sense of humour, unlike Seagal.
Who is playing Tom Petty to Dana's Bob Dylan?! 😂 Is that spade??
Spade does so much with Tom Petty scowling that he doesn’t even need to sing.
These were the best SNL years! Early Sandler, Farley late Carvey, Hartman and Myers😂
By far the best years.
It's amazing how many famous people got together for a good cause.
OK, what happened to Victoria's neck? Was it supposed to explode? She was certainly "out-Bolton-ing" Michael Bolton.
I think that's supposed to be Cyndi Lauper's psoriasis
@@suzyhendrix nope, I just found an interview with her and she said her psoriasis struggles began in 2010. This sketch is from 1991
I think so, looks like there's prosthetic bubbles on it and then it starts bleeding and she rubs it.
Any song with "feeding tube" in the lyrics has my vote! ✌
MB killing ithis comedic chops have always been underrated... Cindy Lauper with the goiter about o pop Im dying! 🤣🤣🤣
Axl and Bob - perfect
Meyer's Mick was spot on.
I remember seeing this as a kid and laughing so hard 😂
The Wilson Phillips impersonation 😂
Wilson phillips got me...
Micheal Bolton was like no.
One of their greatest bits ever.
axle was the best by far
They did Cyndi so dirty 😂
Did they though?🤔😂😂😂
Bittersweet, nostalgic, and hilariously funny.
I'm coughing, hacking, crying this is so funny!
3:00 Had to check this out again after Fly on the Wall with Bonnie and Terry Turner. 😂
I remember watching this sketch the night it premiered... and as if it wasn't funny enough on its own, I was high! I was laughing so hard that I had a pounding headache that night!
your local Rob Schneider-run antique shop sells alot of interesting exotic items that you can put your weed in.
1:39 If Heidi Gardner had been on SNL at the time of this sketch, she could’ve easily played Wendy Wilson in this! I’m sure she was too young back then, but we could always dream.
OH MAN… too bad the squid didn’t burst & send blood spurting out of Cindy Lauper as it was supposed to! 🤣
Victoria hits a C6 there. That's pretty impressive
Some people like the original 1975 cast. Other prefer the Eddie Murphy Era. In hindsight : SNL was AT IT'S PEAK from 1990-1998 or somewhere in there. It was good until the Will Ferrell / Cheri Oteri cast left. Then it was OVER.
Michael Bolton has received a lot of hate over the years, but he’s actually got solid comedic chops. See Jack Sparrow.
This sketch was from the infamous Steven Seagal episode.
With out of control egg prices this is sooooo relevant LOL
That's pure comedy gold, right there!
In 1977 there was In The Mood by The Henhouse Five Plus Too (aka Ray Stevens).
You can tell this really woke the audience up. Amazing how Bolton saved this awful (Steven seagal) show
David Spade as Tom Petty 🤣🤣🤣
What a cast!
LOL! still the greatest skit ever on SNL
This episode gets hate but it’s one of my favorites with Steven Seagal
it was the one I grew up on cuz it was recorded and the only one I saw for years until I got older lol
Watching this skit brought back some great memories. I also greatly remember watching the Evander Holyfield/George Foreman fight the evening before.
5 months later, Nirvana Broke and Metallica black album changed metal to radio friendly.
I'm Done.. LMAO and poor Bob Dylan
As always, Jan Hooks steals the scene.
Mike Myers and Sandler kill me with this
I don't know how I made it this far without having seen this, but man it is great.
The lady acting like Diana Ross is a trip!
Victoria's Cyndi Lauper busting a thyroid goiter with her dying-cat whaling is the highlight of the skit. Cant stop laughing.
Who's here because of Fly on the Wall??
Wow, Wilson Phillips were a smoke show.
when Michael Bolton looks at Cydney Lopper. That is an Emmy award
Love. Makes me laugh every time
He did a great Casey Kasem, nobody does Kasem
Oh, poor Victoria Jackson at the end!!!
AWESOME Jan and Victoria were HOT AF
Dana Carvey changed from Casey Kasem to Bob Dylan live. That’s why Dylan subtly enters mid-song.
The people in the window are Whoopi Goldberg and Rick Dees. Couldn't figure it out without looking it up. Also, there seem to be a ton of extras here with non-speaking parts. Two girls with Farley. Seven people in the back row (one might be Tom Davis). And a black woman and white man behind Mike Myers. Anyone know who those actors, or the musicians they're parodying are?
The two ladies plus Farley are a parody of Wilson Phillips.
I think the short haired blonde in the back is supposed to be Annie Lennox,Debbie Gibson next to her. on the others not sure.
One looks like Dave Grohl.
Tom Davis is maybe Lindsey Buckingham? LB was usually in that kind of scene.
top 5 fav all time snl skit
Chris Rock as Whoopi😂definitely a young whoopi lol someone blew up like a Chinese spy balloon 😂
God bless Michael Bolton
lol...let the chickens beeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
I freaking love this
Who would have guessed back then that it's not Free Range but Pasture Raised they should have been singing for.
C'mon this is so good...
Dan, I watch this regularly. After all, chickens are like us. They're just chickens!
Who is Jan Hooks playing?
Diana ross
not enough credits given to the two main lady cast of this SNL period, Jan Hooks and Victoria Jackson. Hilarious ladies of comedy.
and, it's also a sad reminder to see how UNDERUSED the future comedy star, Chris Rock, was during his time on the show. No wonder Damon Wayans got himself fired. before and after Eddie, this show just wasn't really ready for any black cast.
Somewhere there's a tape of Bolton rehearsing with Black Sabbath. Not a joke.
