It’s a beautiful picnic blanket and I’m not sure if u have given it to someone or you still got it… but if you still have it… u can do one small thing to make a change to keep it, that way you won’t have to make the whole blanket unless you won’t mind doing that or u like it… So in my humble opinion… u can just repeat the last step, yarn step.. u can add one or more than one yarn threads to color lock that black yarn… that way your can turn it into a cute design. Spider can turn into a butterfly 🦋 or bow Or a pompom not overly fluffy so it’s practical to sit on… I hope that made sense… but it anyway is beautiful.
Ok for all of those spray adhesives and such they are contact glues....so yes you have to spray both sides and they will tack to one another. Be sure to always read the instructions of your materials.
Lol! I can’t unsee it now!! 😂 thanks for a great tutorial and funny ending I thought the error was not prewashing the back fabric since the jeans and shower liner won’t shrink?
LOL! Spiders are not my fav! As for the pre washing.....you are right! All my jean scraps would have been prewashed and the back fabric I prewashed as well. But I don't think I said that! oops.
I’m a total newbie, but why is the shower curtain in the center? I was thinking it would be on the back side to lay it down (if you had to) on damp grass? Thanks. It is very nice, BTW!!
That is a great question Laura, I suppose I put it in the middle because it was white and I wanted a bottom that could get dirty. But you could do your idea too and I am sure it would be just as good!
Love this idea, but don’t try to SEW through all this thickness with a newer “Singer!” They won’t go through all the layers… I had to use my Old Singer 491-A
Cute quilt. My brother gave me all his old jeans and I think this is a great idea.
Thanks Linda! I hope you enjoy the process of making a jean quilt. I use mine all the time!
Cute picnic blanket! Thanks for posting this video!
Thank you Brenda! Hopefully it inspires you🧵
Wow very good and the back fantastic Thank You Tamara /Gisela in Sweden 🇸🇪
Thank you so much Gisela!! I am thrilled with how it turned out, and just before Canada Day so it will get a lot of use🇨🇦

I think spiders are cute and I didn’t see them until you pointed them out! Lol! Great video
Thank you 🤗
Love your quilt. How do you wash and dry your quilt with that shower curtain liner inside?
I say they are oversized ants, not spiders. Great quilt!👍🏻😊
Ha ha! Then it should keep the real ones away🤞 thank you Jill! Hopefully the last half of the video will help you with your quilt 🎉
Using outdoor fabric might make the waterproof backing a little easier.
Yes, outdoor fabric is a good suggestion as well 👌💜
Im definitely goin to make something like this
Let me know how it goes Bailey! Happy sewing 🧵
@@TamarasJoyDIY im currently trying to make a tshirt quilt rn
It looks fine and if it looks like spiders noone will steal it ♥️
YES!!! And maybe it will intimidate the real spiders so they stay away 😂
Lol! I can’t unsee it now!! 😂 thanks for a great tutorial and funny ending

need to know where you got the organizerfor your patterns on the wall that is the neatest thing I have seen
I’m found it at ikea a few years ago. Not sure if they still sell them. Good luck!

I thought the same! With the shower curtain as the backing, dirt can be washed away easily.
can this be washed and dried with the plastic
Yes, if you buy a washable shower curtain liner as those liners are made of polyester and not full plastic.
what is the purpose of that black yarn?tia.
Hi Suhaili, the black yarn is a had quilting method. It holds all the layers together.

Fair point! A Jean needle helps as well.
Dude you should just retie it. But remember there are red ants too.
A good suggestion 😁
