Man, I am loving the look of the wheels. Can't wait to see them on with the tires. Speaking of tires, what are you going with? Keep up the great work with the videos. I will definitely check them out when they become available.
Thanks Darren! Yeah I love this style. I was so surprised how concave they were able to get them. For tires, I'm just keeping my stock ones for at least a little wheel. Eventually I'll likely swap to more performance oriented tires though.
Nice. Yeah I'm glad companies like Titan 7 are branching out and considering application specific wheels for the EV6. These wheels looks great, are very concave, yet have a great offset for an 8.5" wide wheel (I usually see 35mm, not 40mm which is a better fit). And for the price, they can't really be beat for forged wheels.
Hey Noel - I haven't talked to them about 20s, but I'm pretty sure they'd be open to it if there is interest. They don't currently offer chrome for any size. For that you'd have to get it chromed.
The wheels look great and the weight saving is welcome. I’m really wondering how much of a hit on mileage you’ll discover due to both the aerodynamics and the extra width. I’ll stay tuned for more.
Thanks! Yeah they look really good. Compared to a typical set of wheels, $3k seems like a lot, but for forged wheels of this quality and weight, it's actually pretty good.
Wow! $2800 seems like a steal for 20lb wheels! My 20" OEMs are supposedly closing in on close to 40lbs...wonder what a difference it would make to shed an extra 15-20lbs per corner of unsprung weight...
Yeah man it's a great deal for forged wheels. Lightweight and strong are exactly what we need. And yep, the factory 20s are definitely heavy... I feel like going down 15+ lbs per corner of unsprung weight would make a big difference in acceleration, braking, cornering stability, etc.
@@TechnicallyJeff 💯 I hope you do some before and after acceleration tests as well... Would be cool to see 0-60 and qtr mile times... You have a Draggy??? 🤔
I don't. I just have the speedo lol. Luckily without wheelspin it's fairly accurate though if I do it in the same place. I already have a 0-100mph video. I can use it as a baseline with the new wheels. Maybe overlay both of them to see if there's any difference.
Cant wait to see the economy/range difference video
Can't wait to test it! 😀
You can even weighed and compared the wheels. This is a damn good review.
Thanks!
Great information and specifics on the wheels. Great job!
Glad to help! Thank you!
Thanks Jeff buy the way your wheels look awesome cheers
Thanks Noel!

@@TechnicallyJeff "little wheel" 🤣😅
😂 *while
thank you for weighing the stock wheels! i’ve been trying to get an accurate number to work with when i replace them for summer 👍
No problem! I was really curious myself so I was excited to be able to weigh them myself.
These look great, I would buy them.
Thanks Chris! I'll let them know!
Cool, I want to wait another year before I change mine and decide which one... maybe we'll get more rim selections by then.

How do I get a pair now?
Contact info@titan-7.com and let them know you're interested!
Hi Jeff I have ev6 gt has 20” inch wheels do they have them that size also can you have chromed cheers noel

Beautiful wheels! Look great with the Gravity Blue…
I agree! I actually have Interstellar Gray 😃
@@TechnicallyJeff Sorry about that🤣
Haha it's fine. In some light it does look very similar.

Thanks Peter! Yeah I'm curious as well. I'll be testing soon 👍
Gorgeous wheels...I can't wait to see them on. I'll pick up a set if I win powerball...3k for all that is a bit steep. :(

What about tpms sensors? Did you have an issues with those on these wheels?
Nope no issues. The tire shops just transfer those over to the new wheels.
@@TechnicallyJeff awesome thanks. Wheels look great!
No problem. Thank you! 😀
Did you install your factory 7.5 tires onto these wheels?
I installed the factory tires, but they aren't 7.5" wide. They are 235s. 235mm is around 9.5" wide. They fit an 8.5" wheel well.
What platform/place did you sell your factory wheels and what price did you get?
I sold them on Facebook I think. Might have been the Kia EV forums though. I got $1k shipped for them.
@@TechnicallyJeff thank you!
No problem!
Nice!!!
Thank you!
Hey Jeff, Do you have any interest in selling the stock wheelset? I am looking for a winter set up.
Actually already sold them... Sorry!
ok thanks!
No problem!

Me too! I'm curious how much, if any, there will be!
Hmm no wheel lock is risky.. especially with wheels this nice
Yeah wheel locks are smart
Dude!!! Great vid but vacuum out that poor car!! :D
😂😂 Yeah I need to. This was after driving it a decent amount with the family.
