OMG! A $1.99 for that cabinet, prices are really great. Nice variety of art, several caught my eye. You catch the best stuff no matter where you go, always a treat! That "fluted" crystal bowl was pretty. Great way to start the day, thank you Tonya, take care💜🙋💜

Wow! Our Goodwill charges double those prices and more! So many beautiful items there, especially the furniture at those give away prices!

The majority of Goodwill stores are for profit, and other managers of Goodwill care for the people in the community who can't afford to buy new.
It's really how Goodwill should be, right???

What an awesome Goodwill! My local one doesn’t have comparable stock or prices. I seldom go there anymore. It is in a nice area so I don’t know why, other than they send the good stuff to the Boutique in San Antonio or sell it on line. There are way better thrift and consignment stores around but none of them sell large furniture. But FB marketplace is buzzing with good finds.
You know you’re old when your old 1980s decor - brass, taper candles - come back in style. Thanks for showing a variety of items and for your knowledge as well. 😎💐👍

What state are you in? I’m in Florida, and they seem to think there stuff is is made of gold. Things are broken ripped missing pieces, and they think it’s worth bib bucks.
I'm in Northern California. I have heard from so many people in the comments about Florida thrifting. The area doesn't seem to matter either. I'm so sorry, love. My only hope is that someone soon sees it as a business opportunity & opens the most AMAZING thrift store Florida has ever seen & people come from miles around 🥰❤️❤️❤️
I live in Fl too 1/2 hr from Jax and I agree the prices here are insane. We moved here from NC and the GWs there were amazing. I had 3 within 15 min. I sure miss them.

Can you go back for the polar bear? He’s from the 70-80’s, called a “soda bear”. He sits in the refrigerator with baking soda to refresh the fridge. He usually has dark sun glasses on, to keep the lights out of his eyes :). These were handmade in ceramic classes all over America! I have tried for many years to find these, as I taught this class, made thousands,( 55 yrs ago). Broke the only one I kept, many, many years ago. Wish my goodwill was the size you have. Thanks so much for the best thrifting trips!!!!

It's no secret that California is an extremely expensive state to live in but geez, I'll take those Goodwill prices any day! I'm in FL and we have nowhere near the amount of good furniture for sale at ours, and the prices are sometimes ridiculously high. Lucky you!

Wow the furniture prices are bonkers over there ... so much more in New Zealand ! Loving the Art as well x I collect Globes and would snap that Mini globe up toot sweet! and Copper bowls...Imagine that Wicker set painted up and put in a conservatory surrounded by plants!! Or even in a Studio ..so much storage

Julie P, Same. I love the art section. I'm too spoiled now. I went to a local estate sale yesterday & there was a framed reproduction of that famous painting of 2 bears dancing in the woods. My eyes lit up. I squinted and looked at their price: $38. Nope! Not doing it. I have found fabulous art pieces at Goodwill as well as the Salvation Army store for far, FAR, less. Indeed I am spoiled!!!

The first time I took my husband to an estate sale and it was day two when things were half price, I asked him if he liked the big beautiful seascape over the fireplace, he said well yes, but how much is it? It had a tag on it for only $10 and it was half off! Now he asks me if there are any estate sales going on.😆

Your GoodWill is amazing. If I lived in your area I would have rented Uhaul and purchased some furniture. Also some glassware and some decorated pumpkins. The prices are great and so nicely organized. My thrift shops are fine. I do find occasional treasures but nothing compared to yours. So glad for you.
Thousands of people are moving out of California every week. That is why the Goodwill stores there are flooded with furniture and the managers are marking lots of it down to 99 cents to try and get rid of it.

Love your couch! So many nice things at your GW! Love your music in the vlog. Seeing all the gravy boats reminded me of what my mom taught me. Put a little butter on the underside lip to prevent the gravy from dripping down the side.
I loved your segments, you are amazing, reminds me how I gave to Goodwill, even if items were new and expensive I gave them to Goodwill, , my kids didn't want, now all grown, so I still love goodwill, I will go for me now, thanks for your time in showing us great items, love it..until next segment, God Bless👍💖😇🙏
It's ashame that some Goodwill's have their furniture and some items overly priced bcz people just buy to upscale and sell it very expensive.

Hi Tanya! Seeing your notifications are fist pump worthy🤓. The prices there are fabulous. What one wants to find at a thrift store. The prices here are dreadful😒.
Looking is a big part of the thrift. You can say it's educational if someone expects you to justify it, but I like the visual stimulation as well as the hunt. And there's nothing wrong with that! People that question it are people I mostly don't want to know (or I just feel sorry for.)

Where on earth is that Goodwill?! I’ve never seen prices that low. I go to the Goodwill every Tuesday, which is the $1.00 day, here in Brunswick, N.Y. Furniture is not that low, no furniture for $1.00 though. Mainly clothing, sweaters, pants, skirts and sometimes coats. I enjoyed your video.

Hi! New subscriber from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦!! Our Goodwills are very small and a bit junkie. I am lucky to find anything really good. No furniture except he odd stool or small end table. We have Value Village. It's quite large. But it seems like someone researches the items and prices them accordingly. Again, not much furniture. The best place for furniture is the Mission Thrift Store. There are a few of them in Ontario. We are fortunate to have one in St Thomas where we live. But we just downsized from a large home. If we need something besides clothes, we go to the internet market place. I do love watching you shop.

Wow, I don't know where your Goodwill is. but the prices are crazy ridiculous. Pictures and mirrors are usually start around $10 at our goodwill an up for the larger frames.

Halloween costumes sometime have some great vintage clothing mixed in. The prices are so inexpensive nothing like in NY state. We have no stock at Goodwill it pretty bare.

I hate when they put the price sticker directly on the item….pictures, toes of shoes, etc. Or when they place it over the manufactures’ mark on the bottom of china.

We do have a thrift store that has tons of pressed glass items. I'm going again on Monday after just having picked up a gorgeous set of French Arcopal plates and bowls in blue and white. I'm sure u r well aware of the many, many pottery and glass companies that were near my hometown, such as Roseville and Heisey. Fenton was just across the Ohio River. So the thrift store managers here know all too well the value of the items they shelve. Thanks for all the lovely things u show us.

Prizes are crazy low, how is that possible?? I think the videos would be smoother if you skipped the zooming in for prizes, it would take out a lot of time and also be easier to watch. This was 3 years ago. Just right after the pandemic. It seems like prices now in the Goodwill are not nearly as low as these are in this video. The price is now seem to have double and goodwill. It's a shame.
