I really love all of the texture on this blanket. Can a different yarn be used? Like a 1 pound? I am not a super big fan of the bernat blanket. Thanks!
I'm thinking of the Tunisian Stitch Sampler. I have 27 tutorials scheduled right now that need to be done.I can consider that later this year possibly next year.
@@rkng1 I've seen some if hers, and they're excellent! I don't understand why people aren't head over heels in love with Tunisian crochet... It used to be a standard skill, just like crochet, and knitting. It is, after all, knit stitches suspended on a crochet chain!
I HAVE TO MAKE THIS! Mkey, what colour was the blue around time :36. I need that colour. Just in case you haven't been told in awhile, YOU ARE SUPER AWESOME!!!!!!!
@@TheCrochetCrowd That’s ok. I’ll see how wide ch 80 is with #4 yarn and 5.00mm hook. Might be sufficient for a wheelchair lapghan or baby play mat / blanket. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
@@kathyberthelet4165 if you go to the pattern link in the description, he mentions multiples of 8 + 2 for the foundation chain. I’m using #4 yarn with a chain of 202 for a throw!

I am late to park when viewing this beautiful blanket. I have seen your replies to people and they are so kind and supportive. Keep shining 🌟 ❤
"I'm a crochet teacher, not a rocket scientist" 🤣🤣🤣 Oh how you crack me up, Mikey !! Keep it going, I love your videos !!
My pleasure. I don't like to be formal as it's not who I am.
Best teacher I have ever had! Thanks for simplifying it and being detail oriented!
Watching now! I'm loving this pattern, thank you Mikey!
You are so welcome!
I think this would be pretty even in regular Bernat Blanket yarn. Should be a cozy afghan. Thanks Michael.
I agree. :)
I hope so. I can't stand the stuff he's working with.
@@karenshiels6566 I’m sorry about the choice the designer made. I’ve not been able to figure out the multiples due to being a stitch sampler. G’night.
I love all of the texture in this sampler! Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial for us! Hugs 🤗
You are so welcome!
I like that pattern . There are so many nice ones. I wish I had more time! Nice job!
Time is never on our side... is it?
Thank you for this! Been looking for something textured like this. You're a blessing!
You’re welcome. G’night. 😀

LOVE that color!!!
Yeah it’s pretty.
This is really pretty!!!! May have to start stocking up on sparkle yarn for this
Any Bernat Blanket will work. :D
Thanks for sharing very pretty.

Thanks on my list too. It is easy and beautiful .

You’re amazing! I just finished mine
Awesome. Well done.
Oooh. Love it! I'll be putting this on my list to make.
Enjoy.
Lovely!!!
Why did u use this bulky yarn for the tutorial? Just curious. Kind of hard to see exactly what ur doing.
Hi! Can we get a few more tunisian crochet blankets? Maybe something suitable for winter holidays?

I believe it's Bernat Baby Blanket... May be sea foam or something like that... It's I was working from spare balls without labels for that.
@@TheCrochetCrowd Thank you!
If I choose a #4 yarn (RHSS), what size hook would you recommend?
5 mm or h. I didn’t figure out stitch multiples.

Hi Mikey came here as a recommendation from Crochet Grandma.
Welcome.
can you do different colors in each section?
Absolutely. Colour is just subjective to your own creativity.
Can you use a different thread
Yes you can. The stitch multiple is unknown.
Mikey can it be made bigger.
You can probably add more for a border. I wasn't able to figure out the multiples to extend it wider due to being a stitch sampler.
Going to fast and I can't cech up
I’m sorry.
