My fav Lambo since NFS 3 Hot Pursuit xD
Luis GamerTrance Same here!
+Luis GamerTrance and NFS High Stakes
+Nathan m high stakes was the best nfs.
me too 👍
+Luis GT95 My fav lambo since The Duel: Test Drive II (1992). which had the standard Diablo version. I'm really old school lol
Back in 96 I was 6yrs old and this is and will forever be my dream car. One day I will own a Diablo.
Me to I am 14 now and I am hoping to get it in 4 yrs time
RDX Hydrochloric sadly lol. But dreams do come true, sometimes.
soulassassin0g you better save up quick,Diablo’s are appreciating in terms of value and collectibility (in other words,it’s getting expensive)
@@aryanquraishi2550so did you buy one? lol
@@7Frosty7 fuck no. theyre fucking broke
Love the Diablo, one of my favourite all time cars, pure 90's brilliance.
Now that's a car we don't see enough of!!! Fantastic video of a car that needs more attention. Great video, Hans!
DtRockstar1 Thanks!

lol everyone is hating on the shifting. Most of the old supercars when shifted slow needed to either be double clutched or rev matched when shifting up. Oh the good old days of real cars none of these electronic ridden modern cars. =)
That was on the 60's or 70's but not in the 90's
@@YoryiTheFox you we're a lamborghini engineer at the development of the Diablo😏..that wasn't the case.after first and second gear it's power came on full throttle.not like flappy gear paddles, the driver was one with the car, not like today's car's. The engagement is gone with newer supercars. When lambos were scary to drive.
@@dcartellone2659 and when did i mentioned gear paddles?, also, my comment was reffered to the poor transmission lamborghini used to cut off corners to make the car since they were not doing ok in terms of economy at that moment, all sports cars and supercars from the same year had better transmissions.
@@YoryiTheFox early 90 supercars didn't have quick shifting... "You said " that was on 60s or 70s but not in the 90s...referring to the long gearing. Is that not what you were trying to say?
The only car company with a better transmission at that time frame would of been Porsche and lamborghini was using a ZF transmission which in terms of reliably it was better then the F40.
I actually prefer this car over the Aventador, despite me liking both.
For me the Murcielago is the best SV tho
Yeah same here. Aventador is a close second
@@okbutwhocares Agreed however the murci SV doesn't have a stick so there tied for me, id rather have a manual murci, they a wicked rare as well.
@@devonr7497 there are some sv murcielagos in manual. Very rare option on an already rare car
@@retrorewind6042 Yea literally 5 manual Sv's were made... Good luck even ever finding one for sale let alone being able to be the one that gets it.
Despite it being 20+ years old, the Diablo SV still stole the thunder from all the other vehicles. Ultimate supercar design an sound
As old as a Diablo is it still gets a 10 out of 10 in style and presence.
I love manual sound
The presence of a Countach with the refined edges of more modern vehicles. Fascinating.
Old Lambo's are the best!!
@Thành Danh Nguyễn have you ever seen a murcielago beatin a jag?
Sounds a lot like an Aventador on start up, awesome sounding car.
***** Indeed. Long live Lambo V12. (:
@Crantox That's very true. The original 60's era Lambo V12's swan song was with the Murcielago.
SO RIDICULOUS SHIFTS.....
True!
he shifts it like it needs to be this car has a fragile clutch, you need to rev up the engine to synch with the next gear
Double clutching
u are ridicilous, this car needs double clutching
diablo clutch is fragile
That sound OMG 😍
smh at people saying it's slow or its gearbox is weird.
Funny thing is you can also hear this if you watch the car chase scene in Bullitt. McQueen's Mustang upshifts are double-clutched (and supposedly the audio is dubbed from a GT40 ha ha).
If it can beat a modern aston Martin, it's certainly not slow
Don Clout not just beat annihilate
It's defo not slow, the diablo has a very tall first gear
Man what a awesome Lamborghini Diablo!!!! Love the engine sound!!!!
sounds amazing
That was my dream car when I was a kid, playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit in a yellow Diablo SV.
EXACTLY .
So beautiful both sound and the car
This is how to shift like a boss !
+bugattiincroyable He is shifting like a granny.
+bugattiincroyable Yup. Guy knows how to use a manual transmission.
+Robert Wolfe He's doing it to preserve the fragile clutch on the Diablo...
yes, I know....
Boss....hell no..them slow shit
My dream car :)
such a beauty.
Even the starter on this car sounds badass.
Legend
What's with that weird shifting sound? It sounds good.
He's granny shifting, not double-clutching like he should.
EpigeneticAlteration can you explain granny shifting mate?
EpigeneticAlteration Double-clutching as well please!
"I almost had you" lol. double clutching is when you clutch in, pop it in neutral then foot off and then back on the clutch and into gear. Oh and when in neutral a stab of the throttle before going into the next gear to keep the revs where you need them. I think from memory they did this in old cars because they didn't have synchros in the gearboxes or you wore them out.
scott jameson You never had me, you never had your car!
BRAAAAAAM BRA BRA BraAaAAAAAM
Legend Lamborghini Diablo was MY first Crush in Lamborghini Series !!!! Specially from 1990-1993 series ! The Power & Handling was Soo RAW & Deep Sound was Orgasmic !! $TILL the BEST V12's EVER BUILT ! Always WITH LAMBORGHINI ! Lamborghini is Different ! #ME....I love THESE SEXY !
Jeah! Gearing sound
On which event do you filmed all these amazing videos?
best sound lambo and superb look
DOUBLE DECLUTCHING LIKE A BOSSS!
+ToMaSaRuS REX I don't think he's double clutching, just giving a throttle blip inbetween shifts so the RPM's don't poke too low when he engages the next gear
+ToMaSaRuS REX Double clutching is used when downshifting in a non-braking situation, it is
not used when accelerating. I don't know why he is doing it other than maybe to protect the fragile
clutch. These cars has very weak clutches. It was one of the major problems with the Diablo.
Robert Wolfe
You can double clutch on up-shifts, surely. If the synchros are weak (or if you have no synchros) then this is a must, especially on cars of vintage and semi-trucks. This guy is just blipping throttle inbetween shifts because light flywheel
My car has a lightweight flywheel and I don't need to blip on upshifts. However, it is supercharged so that keeps the revs up.
Robert Wolfe
You're probably used to the weight of the flywheel, and you probably shift it very well/quick enough. If you put some random guy in your car, he will have jerky shifts haha
[ Romolus 3 playing in the distance]
*Beautiful*
Best V12 Exhaust
next to the pagani zonda cinque
mermaltim68 TRUE !
Eh nope but it's top for sure.
Ha! the 911 is like "bye"
The perfect sound to go with a slowed to perfection version of the Need for speed II se main menu theme. Just anything from the 90s that has a V12 works just fine
The Countach and the Diablo Lamborghini are my favs
gotta luv it =)
The last beautiful Lamborghini. Lamborghini only make aggressive looking cars now that unfortunately have the front ends looking like gaping catfishes.
Satchindra how about the murcielago?,it doesn’t look like a gaping catfish.
@@cancandydnac And Gallardo.
Phenomenal! Absolutely astonishing! The last truly great Lamborghini before Audi stepped in and sort of ruined the company. It definitely gives me the jitters. Props to the owner for driving it like its meant to be driven!
NO! Lamborghini was bankrupt making less than 100 cars a year when Audi took over. Now it is doing better than Ferrari.
Awesome! You don't see many of these being driven hard anymore.
That non sequential gearbox MMMMMMMMM! THATS GOOD!
The bull from the very depths of hell
Двойной выжим сцепления что ли делаешь?Как на тракторе,едешь.
🇧🇷👍👋 esse carro é lindo demais!
Sounds like McLaren F1 but little bit lower rpms. Wonderful!
Bem cançado ja
Mělo by závodit s vozy ze stejného roku výroby. Je nádherné.
That sounds is brutal, Like angry bulls roar lol.
The Diablo and the Ferrari GTO are my favourite old cars
Anyone has any idea what exhaust it has?
I NEEEED IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT
pretty hard car to make it go fast without really beating on it hard. a friend had another 97 monterey and he had a 100hp dry nitrous shot on the car and that really woke up the car. back in 97 my sv dynode with exhaust at 370 rwhp. my 97 GTS viper dynoed 375 totally stock and was noticably quicker than the SV. The Sv was 230k back then with the luggage and the viper was 65k.
370rwhp? That can't be right, that's like 30% drive train loss.
@@Delnevo420 540 hp was the claimed hp for the SV in 97 if I remember correctly and 450 was the claimed HP for the VIper.
@@richiemiami SV was 510, should be making 400+ rwhp
@@Delnevo420 exactly they were lying or as some would say a little over ambitious
This and 6.0 V12 in AM DB9 are the best sounding engines.
Beautifull Lambo! These sprints are way too short btw. A fair comparison would be in a sprint of 1000 or 1500 meters.
I love this more than the 2020 one
That car reminds me of Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit!
Best 90's super car
Diablo is pure Eargasm
The lamborghini diablo sv is my favorite
I recently found out the tail is all for show. it actually cause the cars front end to lift off the ground rather than help
lamborghini Diablo so far the best car ever built from lamborghini is awesome
My favorite lamborghini 90's icon modern clasicc
Love lambo
awh Damnn!
Need for speed 3 Hot Pursuit and High Stakes brings me here.
Best sounding road car ever? I reckon so...
I love this car since i played Need For Speed III
Have to repeat this video several times for the gearshift
Éste no vió ni en youtube como poner los cambios
shift delay is the problem
Wow synchros must be Expensive Hahahah this man is insisting on double clutching
Yeah, I dont get why. It's a race car for cryin out loud
@@arrowinquire there’s no sync on the Diablo sv
where is this place?
It's on the planet Earth, the more you know ;)
😍
My favorite Lambo next to Murcielago LP 640
Hello
This is where Lamborghinis awesome period started not with the countach it started with the Diablo sv it’s my fav lambo
Better than today cars sound
Y Love Aston martin
4:00
SO RIDICULOUS SHIFTS
Sounds like the stock Murcileago in NFSC.
Shifting needs some attention.
It lost to main steam cars ?
Driver shifted too slowly
whats with the shifting gears.. whats he doing with that gear box? lol.
+Tim Firanov Double-clutching. In between gear shifts, he taps the throttle in neutral to get the transmission spinning for the next gear. Not necessary outside of industrial trucks, but it couldn't do the transmission any harm.
He's playing with fire doing that with that clutch. The beginner who is pro (lol) shifting reminds of the stupid kid in the black Ferrari F50 Spider...
If you can afford this car you can afford to put a beastly clutch in it and bang through gears.
My second-favourite Lambo.
damn, that m5 v10...
This Diablo SV has a strange sound.. This isn't the usual sound of SV..
I see it's been modified by Forza
a child-driver shifting......but legend old school diablo...or DIABO lambo.....
The Lambo's driver apparently felt pretty worried about quick upshiting....He's going through neutral for a while instead of going straight from gear to gear.
He possibly had gone through recent unpleasant and costly experience with his gearbox.
wat voor een evenement is dit? en waar?
Een dragrace evenement.
veel peer meel keel
estubo genial como le gano a un Aston Martin un Lamborghini Diabloooooooooooooooooooooo
Lost every race, won my heart.
Los lamo diablo SV son muy rápidos
They all had headstarts over the Diablo. Why is that?
I can't imagine the maintenance on that car lol
He'd save a lot of time if he shifted gears normally..
+Omar De la Hoya yea, for some odd reason he is blipping the throttle on upshifts which wastes time of course. I think he is trying to preserve the Diablo's fragile clutch.
+Robert Wolfe yeah that's true actually they are very fragile
You would think doing that is worse for the clutch considering he is shifting up which means adding more RPM creates a nice rotational speed difference that would chew it up more. He's doing it wrong hence the jerky noise caused by what I described.
Chicken_Sandwich well I wouldn't say it's worse for the clutch, but for getting the fastest time or highest top speed out of the car etc, doing that blip on up shifts certainly wastes time, unless like I said, he's trying to preserve his clutch.
OmR Say what you want, the 1337 shifting engagement was nails to a chalkboard on this. Preserving your clutch is about being smooth and methodical over being panicky and forcing it for the high score.
