Y’all imagine if Hersey’s brand actually make something similar to what Willy Wonka did and they put 5 golden tickets and whoever are the lucky ones are welcome to their factory to see how the Hersey’s chocolates are made. That would be soo cool to see in real life.
The wrapper (outer and inner) are the selling point of this bar. The chocolate is meh. I know, I know, that chocolate in Europe tends to be better due to restrictions on ingredients and it must have more cocoa than U.S. chocolates. That said, in terms of mass market chocolates I hope that at some point ya'll get to try: Ghirardelli Chocolates (originally from San Francisco but owned by Lindt,) Godiva Chocolates, Sander's Chocolates, Dove Chocolates, Harry and David Chocolates, Sees Chocolates, Russell Stover Chocolates, and Whitman's Chocolates (Russell Stover and Whitman also are owned by Lindt.) But the best commercially mass market chocolates are probably Lindt (from Switzerland) and their Lindor chocolates are to die for. ~Be Blessed
My local theatre used to sell Wonka Bars at the concession stand. I'd always grab one before the show. They were delicious; chocolate infused with pieces of Graham cracker.
The Wonka chocolate bar was ok and a bit of a gimmick, but far more successful then the bars produced by Quacker Oats company that were supposed to came out when the first film Charlie and the chocolate Factory first came out. Something about the candy bars being recalled due to production problems and not being able to get the recipe right. I think I've even heard something about the chocolate wasn't made right a melted way too easily. At least Quaker Oats was successful at producing the film. I guess that's the risk you trying to produce a product from a fictional book/ movie or tv series. Lots of recipes for the Pan Galactic Gargle blaster from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Klingon blood wine and Butter beer from Harry Potter.
I cringe listening to Scottish people in things like these....honestly....its literally the worst accent attached to someone who thinks they are being funny or having 'good banter'. Absolutely cringe.

It’s exact that Ali, a gimmick. We’ll see if we can find the ones you mentioned.
They did do golden tickets but it wasn't to go to a factory it was to win a year's supply of chocolate
