Beautiful voice - if the pauses / phraseology is a bit tricksy. It would have been beautiful if sung straight, probably better than the original. The phraseology reminded of Barbara Streisand, when her voice started to age and she went all ‘cabaret’. I’d love to hear such a beautiful voice connect emotionally with the naked vocal melody.
Not enough anguish. This song is all about craving your attention, this didn't.
