I love watching your videos and was just wondering for those of us in the states if you could put a general location I know you don't want to put exactly but you know just a general location thank you
Well Robert , locations are never given i am afraid to say. Thanks for watching.
Spectacular island ❤️
So heavily fortified for a relatively small area.
Keep up the excellent work guys 😁
We agree and we shall share tons more my friend :)
Your knowledge of the history of the WW2 is astounding. I'm very happy to be a supporter and a huge fan of your channel. This is a amazing island. There is so much history there. Thank you for greetings in the front of your video. I always look forward to your videos. I didn't get the notification about this video and a few others. Just so you know. Keep on bringing us history. I am very proud of the 4 dioramas. I have them hung up on the wall of my firearms/reloading room next to the picture of my dad and I. They will be in every one of my videos from here on out. If I get more they will be going to a good home. I want everyone to have a piece of history so I hope that everyone that is lucky enough to get one will display it with pride. Happy History Hunting mein freund. Big smiles to you and your two wonderful kids Bunker Buster Girl and Eagle Eyes and the rest of the WW2HISTORYHUNTER family.
Wow i am honored to read that my friend and you know we do share history in a very special way and there will be more great moments shared together. Thanks and keep smiling my friend.
Another Awsome Adventures you Bring History Alive love it learn something every time thank you for taking us with you
Glad you enjoyed it Mary and thanks from us.
i bet the most interesting parts are under water, there could be some interesting stuff
There could be great secrets there for sure. Thanks

Thanks! My favourite WW2 history channel. So much history out there, and if anyone is going to discover it, that would be you HH. Loved the intro. Looking forward to future adventures. Thank you to you and your family. :)
We will discover even more with such great support Laura and thanks for that :)
Awesome! I'm wondering why so much was placed on such a small footprint of a single island? Your knowledge of the architecture and artifacts is impressive. I'm guessing most men stationed here during the war found this to be a beautiful setting, especially at sunset and sunrise. Beats so many other possible places. Look forward to the second video of this island. Stsy safe and be well!
Mark S.
I agree must have been a pretty ok spot to be in during those days. Thanks MS
Wow it really was heavily defended little lsland the Germans really did over engineer everything brilliant cheers & thanks.👍🏻🇮🇪☘
Yes Paul , so much to see and study there and loved to share it with you.
6:39 looks like a 38mm mount? The 88mm had a square mount with 4 long stablilisers. 7:44 this is probably where the officer shouted out the coordinates for the gun to train on? 9:00 those are the long lost soldiers come back as the sheepen! 9:22 the dome roof raums usually used for ammo storage?
yes curved ones were often for munition. Thanks for your great support.
Watching these videos reminds me of my childhood playing with my plastic soldiers, building fortifications etc in my moms flower beds, and yea she wasn't best pleased. I cant think why ;)
Yup, I did the same. For indoors, I built bunkers for my Army Men out of Legos and Lincoln Logs. Then I sat on the couch and "bombed" them with rubber bands and popcicle stick grenades. lol
cool i think lots of us did that as young ones. Thanks and greeting from us.
It's a amazing all the places you and eagle eye aka your son it. Like always what a great history video keep up the wonderful work
We are blessed with the fantastic support of our team that gets us to incredible locations that we can share with you Elizabeth. Thanks again for your incredible support and more to come soon.

Pink Floyds sheeps waiting for another engagement!
He he , in a way yes :)
I Love the Sheep, saying HALT, Why are you here...
Considering the Atlantic islands storm weather and harsh winters , they are amazingly well preserved . love to see this stuff . amazing .
Glad you enjoyed it
This was absolutely amazing my friend ! Great job , again !
I can't thank you enough for your investigating abilities ! Well done !
Thanks again and greetings from us.
So very interesting thanks history hunter and eagle eyes👍👍👍💜💜💜
Thank you too!
Such a cool location. Very excited to learn.
yes Lee a totally awesome place it is and more to come soon :)
Love the work..
Keep it up..
I grew up with the west wall in the United states
Playing in ww2 by bunkers on the Pacific coast at fort Stevens
Great childhood i would say :) Thanks
In the summer of 1990 I was on vacation on the French Atlantic coast, where lots of German bunkers are still standing directly on the beach. Germany then just had won the football world championship and someone with an apparently abundant stock of white paint had written "DEUTSCHLAND IST WELTMEISTER" in massive Gothic letters on one of the bunkers. The following year the writing was still there, just as indestructible as the bunker itself. A pity that I didn't shoot a picture of it.
What's up guys from Odessa Texas. I absolutely love your videos. by far the best ww2 adventures on RUclips. Hopefully one day I'll be a patreon I promise.
Totally appreciated my friend and greetings from us.
😃 HOLY MADONNA 😃 Another amazing video to watch ☕️☕️
Yepp and more to come soon :) Thanks Spiderman
WW2HistoryHunter I’ll be watching my friend 😊👍
So beautiful, so tranquil the sky, the ocean, then you bring us back down to earth showing us and reminding us what this island was set up and used for. Looking forward to follow ons my friends - and I would like to see a short (perhaps insert) with Eagle Eye being the producer, director, videographer, narrator. He's come so far and grown so much I THINK he'd do and EXCELLENT job... Be Safe, Be Well and Be careful my friends - at on the island no virus issues.
EE is taking more and more part in the creating of the material. He already flies a lot of the drone work and he do the walk by scenes and more. Only tie will tell if he wants to do more in the future. THanks Ted.
I'm a new subscriber and I'm loving your podcast. Absolutely the best podcast I have discovered. Keep up the good work and I'll donate to your cause through Patreon when I can
Welcome aboard Colin and greetings from us.
Another awesome adventure. Thank you for taking us along. I get stuck in bed because of problems I have with my back for days, even weeks at a time. Watching your videos helps me get my mind off the four walls I’m stuck looking at. So thank you for that. Look forward to the next adventure
Very glad to read that and that is good to know and sometimes i am helped in similar ways as well my friend. Greetings from us.
What could it have been that needed protection farther inland. Hmmm. With 300 men assigned on that island there had to be supply boats coming in everyday. And where did their garbage go. What a fantastic adventure H.H. Thank you.
Actually the 300 were assigned to 3 different island around there ,i forgot to say it. Thanks and more to come soon.
Thank you for another great adventure and seeing pieces of history ! Take care , stay safe and healthy wherever your research takes next ! Doing well here in Kansas .
Great location and mreo to come soon Steve and greetings from us.
I assume, it must be either somewhere near the channel islands or somewhere near one the German submarine base in France. Being a pilot I would be interested in the coordinates, because looking from above it might be even more interesting. The island could be easily reached by an ordinary Cessna 172. This in turn may be an explanation why the Germans concentrated so much gun power on the island.
Thanks for watching and greetings from us.
"because they are Germans' too funny but true about that road
because soldiers in trouble need extra duty to do and they did not have any paint to paint rocks.
Thanks for watching.
@@patrickwentz8413 Gotta keep busy. Must have been pretty boring if there is nothing to shoot at.
The “steel girders” looked like railroad track to me. Not that they had a railroad out there but the track could have been used to move very heavy pieces of equipment. Always look forward to seeing your videos.
Thanks for the info and more to come soon :)
What a fantastic location ! Thank you for sharing 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
That Island is amazing. You are an amazing young man to be interested in history for your research you do for each place you go.I so appreciate you.I don't have a computer I get your videos on my phone ,But I love what you are doing ,I know I will never get to see these places in person,so again God Bless You and be safe.🖒🇺🇸❤🙂
I always worry about land mines and unexploded ordinance. Yes, stay safe!
Wow, thank you and greetings from us Gayle
At about 13:00, many military's do that, line their walk way's and roads with rocks. At least we did when I was in.
Seems like that yes. Thanks

Good job. Very interesting island. Had some good stuff on it. Thank You.
Glad you enjoyed it Larry and greetings from us.
That gun placement was huge. Extremely well made structures still pretty well intact today. Do wonder what the diagram of the ship and coordinates were for? Reinhardt and the sheep gang were just reminding you of your boundaries HH and EE. Toilet was put in a very good place as privacy is of utmost importance. Definitely some huge gear was there. Have to agree with you HH. Would have liked to see what was there before it was demolished. A lot of activity went on there. Can't imagine around 300 German soldiers being there at one time. Yes HH that was one sick German WW2 Island. Thanks for battling the weather elements, spiders, mosquitoes, and vicious sheep in order to bring us WW2 history. We your followers appreciate your efforts.
As many of the other locations this one is just amazing and very glad we shared it with you. Stay safe Laura.
With all the features on this island, it’s a wonder that it didn’t sink. Walking around on the island is like walking around exploring Ancient Rome. I’ve watched documentaries on the Germans retreating on the Eastern front and destroying everything the Russians could use as they retreated. Did they do this same thing on the Western front? So many features around the bunkers. I noticed watching all your videos that you’ll find electrical wires coming out of a pipe, another will have the junction box on the wall and so on. After a while and watching so many of your videos you could almost imagine what the complete electrical would look like. Love these videos so much and I’ve learned so much and even more watching them a second time. Thank you for these great adventures.
yes the Germans did use " burnt soil " in some regions. Love to see all these details there Anthony and even greater to be able to share them with you :)
I just got through watching a video on how the bunkers were built. It’s unbelievable what they did in a short amount of time. On the large bunkers they would either pour all the concrete at one time over a two or three day time or they pour it in sections. They also talked about the eastern wall on the Polish border that was full of bunkers. Have you been there? It was very nice of you to talk to your fans about McDonalds lol. The video I watched said that the large bunkers could survive most bombs of the day. Some of the destroyed bunkers they showed were destroyed from explosions from the inside. One killed 12 Americans after they were carelessly smoking inside a bunker with ammunition in it. Great video again from you and Eagle Eyes.
Thank you for your great support and comments my friend , greatly appreciated :)
It looks like a small Würzburg-Radarstation and the room below could be the commando post for 3 guns. Why? because the "bolts" of the above implacement are surely not for a gun, they`re to small and the diameter is not great enough!!! My thoughts here are only to think about!
Ok and thanks for being here with us :)
It's very surprising that all these Bunkers throughout African continent, Europe, most of Atlantic ocean Islands, Pacific ocean Islands were made by The Germans till WWII. What was their fear at that time when it was known to the world that they were the only super power at that time.
Thanks for comment and for sharing.
About the exploded bunker... when the Allies took over a lot of gun batteries, they placed all the shells in one of the bunkers and blew them up to get rid of them. The metal parts look like rails to move the shells around in the bunker. If you go back, please feel free to post the signals cover to me, as that is a great find. I'll pay the postage lol! It will be given a good home!
He he well i actually hung it back on the wall where it belongs. Thanks
Those girders look very much like feldbahn lines which would explain the rocks either side of a flat road . Railway Trackbed it would be the most economical way to feed all the guns , somewhere there must be a main munitions store
Thanks for watching.
I know during the war they had submarines and fake fishing boats along with other weather forecasting installations around the coast, maybe that trawler painting was a minder to the gun crews not to blast their own boat out there. baaah baaah lol, gotta love the talking scenery with it's own sound track! lol! thanks again guys!!!
Thanks for watching.
Great interesting video. Why was that island so important to the Germans? It obviously was with the sheer number of fortifications and structures . Thanks again and take care
Good question and i would like to find out more later. Thanks Alfred and greetings from us.
Concerning the crack in the rock toilet, some of the coastal forts in the US Civil War used this method of solid waste disposal. When the tide came in and out, the sea helped flush away the stool.
ok and thanks for comment and for watching.
That's certainly a well-protected trench line! It was great seeing the remains of the remote firing electronics, things like that are usually totally gone.
yes , that place has a lot of unique details rarely seen. Thanks Bob
Absolutely love your videos!!! Keep up the work eagle eyes!!!!
Thank you! Will do!
I just found this exploration video. I don't know how I missed this one? Big Thumbs Up...
Thanks for watching!
It was as though the sheep wanted to know who you were and what you were doing there.
Could be i couldnt tell :) Thanks
That rubble could have been a ammunition storage and either allied attack hit inside or s accident ently destroyed by German mistake
could be and thanks
Great find . Nice to see history that is still preserved. Awesome job . See you next video.
Glad you enjoyed it
What island is this? I'd like to check out the topography on Google Earth.
Locations are not given. Thanks for watching.
What happened to the wooden structures? Offices, garages etc, are there none left at all.
They were pretty much torn down and resirculated amongst locals and millitarty i guess. Thanks
I wonder if the rubble mass (14:00) was pushed in there from somewhere else? It doesn't look like the result of an explosion, either internal or external - it looks like it was intentionally placed and leveled to me.
it is a leveled bunker i gathered. Thanks for watching.
@@WW2HistoryHunter - Thank you.
What kind of guns would’ve been on those mounts? What size, etc?
some big some smaller. Thanks
What an incredible island. The amount of work is staggering.
It really is and thanks Paul :)
An excellent video once again.
👍🏴👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Another excellent video as usual thanks. The only ww2 artifact in Ireland is the wreck of an American bomber which crashed into a mountain in County Donegal
heard about that i have and thanks for watching
😛😛😛😛😛❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very glad you are here Charles and thanks my friend :)
What an amazing island did it ever get attacked , due to the amount of fortification and firepower it had to be defending a very important waterway , Helllloooo didn't know you had sooo many new viewers lolololol 🐏🐐🐃🐐🐏🐐 Baaaahaaaa lolololol EE was probably like Dad what are you starting a petting zoo 🤣🤣🤣 it had to be one of the longest explores considering it's a island , but also to show us all of it, great views great weather and hanging with the Kiddos Life is Good , Take Care Brother and if you get stranded you have shelter , food 🐐🐐🐐 lolololol
The sheeps surrounded us and outnumbered us and i think they planned a suprise attack :) Great location and more to come later. Thanks T
Wow a nation island with bunkers and everything so amazing
Yes a fantastic place to see incredible details. Thanks William.
Was the island inhabited by civilians at the time of the German occupation? Just wondering with that many locations of fortifications and emplacements where the locals may have lived. You could easily spend a week or more thoroughly investigating the island. Another great video by our wonderful host and family. Everyone stay safe.
Not that i know of. Thanks for comment and for watching.
Hello History Hunter
What a amazing Island
So much guns and stuff on this little place
Thanks for sharing this with us
I am looking forward to see more of this place
If it is possible you can tell a littlebit about the purpose of this Island and why did the german military do this
Thank you very much
Yours Frank
Island`s purpose to take out ships and aircrafts and observe. Thanks
The island must be very strategic if it has been used as a defensive fortress.
LOL, have you ever heard of MD.
The Island was very well placed to protect the german investments in the area. Thanks Oma :)
You guys Rock...My name is Paul and I am an x Submariner in the Royal Australian Navy...Hi from the Land of Oz...keep up the great work🤓👍
Thanks! Will do and greetings to Oz from us.
You are such a tease! Field guns in the thumb nail but not in the video! I can’t wait for the next instalment, what a location, your discovery of the toilet made me chuckle, I have seen that on a few WW2 locations here in the U.K. where the location allowed for such a convenient convenience!
Well there will be more to look at later my friend. Thanks and greetings from us.
Really do you not get view numbers unless we watch right to the end? I always skip the last probably 20 seconds of every clip as the clip is obviously over and move on to my next clip.
just watch it in full and get the full context of the material. skipping is for me not a option when i watch others material as i then dont get the full context of the message. Thanks
Another top grade video my friend. Thanks for the island shot with the markers it gives even more perspective on how packed the place is. The junction box, the connectors on top in their day would have unscrewed, they are similar to units used in the panzer chassis. Is it me or is EE getting taller or are you shrinking? Again nice job and you people stay safe out there.
Yes William , crazy Island it is and have never seen so many installments anywhere on a small island like that. EE is growing like a horse these days and incedible strong he is. Thanks and greetings from us.
It must have been quite a journey going all over that island...many days? Eagle eyes must have had a great time with discoveries. Happy hunting!!
We did explore quite a bit yes and so glad we could share it with you Mary. EE is on fire out there in the fields :) Thanks Mary.
The sheep, as well, are enjoying your video! More fascinating history from this extraordinary little island. Did the RAF know about its heavy fortification and told the bomber streams to avoid it or did it come as a nasty shock to them? Thanks and best wishes to you and to Eagle Eyes.
it does look like there could have been some hits taken but not totally sure. Great location it is. Thanks Sue and greetings from us.
Your vids get better & better. Thanks 2 You & your Son,we get 2 c what we can only dream of,take care both of U. Does anyone live there 2day?
Appreciated Dale and no one lives there today except the sheeps :) Thanks and greetings from us.
The sheep ganged upp on you.....And Mcdonalds dont serve lamm burgers, so that did not scare them. nice vid Love from Sweden.
They did and i could do nothing about it as they outnumbered me :) Thanks Kurt
Another excellent site! The ocean is so beautiful. Have you ever had any paranormal encounters at any of these sites?
Well there are some things going on that i can not say too much about but for sure strange things out there i think. Thanks for watching.
Peleliu: Hold my Beer
Thanks for watching.
May I ask where this place is, and or the name of the island?
Love your videos sir.
I think it mite be the channel Irelands jursey and gunsey it the only part of Britain the gurmans hold for the hole war and Hitler spent billions on fortifications if my mind serves me correctly its only about 7 to 8 miles form the Normandy beaches
@@richardsarcheryreviews I appreciate the answer and suggestions. However, WW2 History Hunter said the island was quite small. I know Jursey is quite large, I haven't looked at gunsey yet. I only want to know because I like looking at these sites on Google maps sometimes.
Thanks again for the reply.
Locations are not given my friend. Thanks
@@WW2HistoryHunter Awww man, I understand and it's sad you have to keep them secret because there are always people out there who will ruin things for the rest of us. I would like to say that my intentions are innocent, and that I can relate, I am a fisherman, and I never give away my fishing spot locations. Thanks for the reply and keep up the amazing videos. (I dont know why I love WW2 History so much as opposed to other wars.)
@@scrapironfish the are 8 channel islands in total mate so could be any of them the previous mentioned once where a guide as I'm didn't know where your from Alderney is the 3rd largest of the islands and is lot smaller
Hi WW2 History Hunter and Eagle Eyes, thanks for sharing another interesting and informative adventure, at8:5 , if those guy had come around and protested like that 75 years ago, they would have become instant dinner....lol. God Bless and stay safe, my friends.
So true Doug and thanks again for your kind words and your great support.
love the sheep :)
Thanks
The Channel Islands are the most heaviest defended parts of the Atlantic war . I should know I live on Guernsey
Well if you compare how many units to how many square meters of land i dare to say different. Thanks for watching.
Can`t Thank you and Eagle Eyes enough for these adventures, places I would not know existed if it wasn`t for your channel. Can`t wait to see more of this island. Stay safe my friend.
Wow, thank you Allen and more to come soon :)
WOW they just keep getting better and better. Another Amazing adventure. As always, Thanks so much for sharing your passion. Just so cool!
Our pleasure and greeting from us.
Wow, so much to explore on such a little island. Would love to spend a few weeks just prodding and poking into every corner. That destroyed bunker must have been something special to warrant such absolute destruction. Seriously can't wait to see what else you found out there. Cheers my friends, and thanks for another fascinating look into History!
Very interesting Island indeed Peter and we will show more you know :) Thanks and greetings from us
That island is certainly full of features! Thank you for showing it to us! Have a great week, all of you!😊💖
Thank you! You too Cynthia.

Some locations are only visited not detected. Thanks Trinity
Dude im loving these videos...have you ever thought about doing tours..taking paying subscribers along on trips ?.
That is a GREAT idea!!!!!!
Yay finaly ...iv had a good idear lol
Well there might be something turning up later for that. Thanks
Where are the guns that you showed in the picture I was very interested in that......
Will present more later. Thanks
is this island like a holiday where people pay to come and see? or is it an island you've just discovered on your own?
It is not a often visited place at all it seems as i saw almost no trash whatsoever. Thanks for watching.
8:24 look at door in front something in the room
ok and thanks
I just cannot imagine how much work it would be to stack all them rocks it is just amazing.thank you very much for the video. You are doing great work.
You are very welcome
Never get tired of the voice of Christoph Waltz talking, and taking us on tours of WW2 German sites!
Good to now and greetings from us.

Wait, what....have *you* never heard of MINT SAAAAUUUCCCEEE (sauce...said like a sheep 😅😉)?
He he ,good one my friend and thanks.
@@WW2HistoryHunter yeah but seriously though...do the Germans not have mint sauce for use with roasted lamb Sunday dinners?
