The U-boats sailors were armed with K98 rifles for last ditch anti-aircraft defense and for use on boarding parties. I think it likely that the 20 mm shell and bullets could have come from the harbor picket boat, but they just as likely could have come from one of the subs. Very cool video, my friend. I am glad to see your awesome daughter back in the field on an adventure with you. I haven't seen her in a while. You have such an incredible son and daughter and you are an outstanding Dad. I really, really enjoyed these two episodes. You need to do more Navy-related adventures. As a former sailor, like you, those touch my heart and draw my special interest. Lol. Please keep the outstanding videos coming and God bless you and your family, my friend!
There will be lots more underwater explores Shane and will share them all with you :) Thanks for the kind words and greetings from us.
It is wonderful that your son is interested in history. Thank you for the adventures. Keep up the great work.
I really love to see him out there and finding history like he does. Thanks for being here.
I really appreciate the fact, that you never disclose locations of your findings!
And most important yet, that your documentaries keep this history alive and shall never be forgotten!
People have little idea, the danger those places still hide! Hand grenades, mines, bombs, ammunition still can and will explode! And some places might even hide life booby traps.
Thank you Samai :)
Glad you went back here with Bunker Buster Girl and was able to find a couple nice thing's!! Thanks for sharing!! See you in the next one!!
Thanks for coming
I just found your channel by accident because I saw the Fifish on banggood while looking for drone parts. I'm absolutely enamored with your channel and now I really want one of these myself. I'm currently marathon watching all your videos. Thanks for the awesome content.
Wow how great to read my friend and thanks for that :)
These are the coolest underwater adventures, I love the history lessons and the discoveries. Thank you so very much! 👍👍👍
Thank you for that and greetings from us.
How are you going to get the drum barrel out of the water from the U-Boat Harbor.
This is fascinating. In 1963 to 1967 I was stationed in Kaiserslautern Germany.
ok and thanks for watching.
I love your videos. I brings back memories my mom says. She's from Germany 🇩🇪.
Greetings from wiesbaden...
Every time I get an alert from you I know I am in for a surprise, so it's get a comfortable chair and sit back and see what amazing find's you are going to share with us this time ! I live in the UK and have mobility issues so am unable to go exploring like you do, even if I could go exploring we have nothing here like the WW11 relics you keep finding. Please keep sharing your amazing video's, take care and stay safe.
You're the best Peter and very glad we can share with you :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter Thanks for replying, watching your exploring videos certainly brightens my day ! I know you guy's put in a great deal of time and effort getting to the site, carrying all your gear, preparing everything then getting into the site, filming everything, then it's getting home tired and as if that was not enough, you have to watch what you have shot a few times and then edit it and check everything a few times before you upload it ! I think the majority of viewers are simply not aware of what is involved to produce a good interesting video. The ROV is a great tool and will find you so much, there is a pit here where just about everything, including vehicles, weapons and explosive devices were abandoned into the pit to sink to the bottom and forgotten, that would be a major and expensive task to clear so that's why it has simply been left. Do you have a FB account please ?
two ROV at the same time was so fun to see
Great explore and thank you for being here :)
Not surprised you have German ww2 barrels in your garden , brilliant 💜💜💜👍👍 fantastic video 💜💜💜💜👍👍👍
Thanks Wendy :)

Have enjoyed all of your videos that I have seen. Thanks so much for all your hard work and efforts without which a lot of WWII history would be lost.
wow appreciated my friend.
As always, this is so interesting! One of the hallmarks of your videos is that you have a history of what happened where you are searching, and a detailed analysis of what you find. I am sure one day you will find the Furer's mustache! :) Thanks for posting.

Thanks, will do!
use the ROV to take a hook or grapple hook with a rope to hook larger things you can't pick up, or even a strong magnet, I have been to Germany back in the 70's when my step father was at the 97th GH, I was 13 years old.,,. Love the work you are doing keeping History alive, Thanl you for what you do..
Thanks Sonny :)

Welcome back!
Great finds thanks for sharing your under water adventure. 👍
You bet and more to come :)
Your comment that you said ( the beauty of it is the unknown) is so true when it comes to WW2 history cause there is still so much unknown. Have a great one history hunter.
Thanks Dalton
Loving your videos and great work in keeping history alive.
You need a basket to drop your finds in that way you can retrieve more and wont lose your spot when you discover finds.😁
Great idea and we are currently working on several solutions. Thanks my friend.
You are getting very good at controlling the Fifish. Love watching your underwater adventures and glad to see bunker buster daughter made it with you on this trip.
Thanks 👍
Love all of your content, been following forever!
Totally awesome to read my friend and thanks for that and greetings from us.
Another fascinating video of history! Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks, will do!
Absolutely fantastic, that was soo exciting watching you retrieve those finds, imagination can run wild, as to circumstances of how they were lost, really enjoyed your video, hope you find many more great items, thank you for sharing 👍🙂
Glad you enjoyed it
Greay video! Love that you have the fuel drums in your garden! Stay safe.
Thanks, you too!
I do love these videos so much, but I feel like I am playing a video game whilst drunk. And I feel your frustration. Everytime you say 'come on' just take comfort that there is a large hairy man in Australia screaming at his TV those same words. Loved it. Take care brother.
There you go my friend and glad you are with me out there :) Thanks
Did not think of it before, great German Engineering on the custom grabber. Thanks for the share.
Thanks for watching!
Dhank you Historihunter for your great videos. 👍👍👍
Glad you like them!
Yet another awesome video pal! Can’t wait for the next episode 👍
Thanks a ton!
Great video! Very informative. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Our pleasure!
The fish is very impressive! You and bunker buster girl pulled up some great finds! This was a very exciting video indeed! You are getting better and better at operating the fish! I am particularly impressed with the jaws and how tightly your are able to grab objects! Thanks for another awesome adventure!
Glad you enjoyed Jeffery and we will show much more later. Thanks.
You might get a small light basket to put several small finds in and then bring it up you might be able to save some run time by not bringing each find up and then power back to the search area. Thank you for another great video.
Great idea!
Fantastic video bro keep them coming!
Will do our very best and thanks for being here with us :)
Hi HH
Loving these underwater adventures
Great finds my friend
Cheers
Thanks 👍
Your welcome 😁
The Battle of The Atlantic with these submarines from different harbors was the key to WWII and the longest campaign of the War. Seeing the realities of disposed of cups, plates, ammunition, and other war materials brings to Life the daily lives of Kreigsmariners and what they saw and experienced. Thank you for another fascinating, factual, fun, informative, and well done adventure in History Hunting.
Indeed so James and appreciate you taking time to comment and watch.
Thanks for all you do.
So nice of you
Great perseverance, finding those cartridges in that quayside is the real life needle in a haystack.
There are more there and thanks for watching.
Great stuff. Looks great on my big tv. Must be difficult on a tablet to operate. Keep up the great videos 🇨🇦

Great channel, been a subscriber since your early videos. I find your exploration videos so interesting and the history is fascinating. I also am a WWII affecianado and collector. Wish I could go detecting and find some ot the things you do and add some historical items to my collection. Keep up the great work, you are very much appreciated.
Wow very glad to read that and much appreciated my friend. Greetings from us.
@@WW2HistoryHunter You make exploring history so interesting, you bring so much enthusiasm to your quests. I would love to see a video of you sitting down talking to the camera and show us some of your favorite finds. I think your fans would really love to see the guy behind it all. I bet you would get a ton of views on it. What country or countries are you doing most of your explorations? How can I become one of your patreon supporters? I love your channel, my absolute favorite channel.

I love your channel and the history you bring to us!
Glad you enjoy it Susan :)
Excellent work, you have an eye for treasure! Keep it up!!
Thank you! Will do!
Nice finds, pulling the drum up would be fun. Another possibility for the K98 round, guards on the quay. I wonder what side scan sonar would show of the bottom. Keep on searching you will find a sub yet. Nice to hear BBG was there. Stay safe and healthy my friend.
yeah would have been great to get that up from there. Yes guards could be the people who tossed those in there. Thanks William and more to come soon :)
As always, a very nice and informative video. Thank you.
So nice of you
Thank you BBG and WW2HH.... ( not sure if I heard EE ) for this underwater adventure. You always show us your enthusiasm for the hunt and capture when you use your underwater tools... Good hunting Be Well and Be Safe...

Thanks Hugh
Fantastic finds well done.
Glad you enjoyed
Great work - enjoyed watching
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant as always
Thanks again!
Maybe a metal basket on a rope to collect the items you find under water to bring up to the surface instead of pulling up the Fifish each time
yes we are working on several solutions as we speak. Thanks.
Great Videos History Hunter (as always they are). That drum barrel with the "hole" in the end of it may have been blown overboard during an air raid possibly. That is maybe where that hole in the end came from but who knows. Wonderful historical work you are doing and i for one really do Appreciate it. Mike from Memphis, Tn.
It sure could have been we will never know. Thanks and greetings from us.
Nice underwater tour. Interesting how the harbor floor is so different in areas.
Loved that ad thanks Stephanie :)
What great pleasure showing us history in your backyard sort if speak.. Thank You!! Fantastic!! ;-)
