@@WW2HistoryHunter Your channel touches my heart greatly as it is very similar to what I have done with my son. Absolutely awesome work guys! So pleased you finally made it up there. Pity that other door was shut, but, probably for the best. I can imagine some errant explorer stumbling uopn the top opening, from the outside, and not realising there's a serious drop just around the corner. But at least, you achieved a fantastic goal, in finding out exactly what was hidden up that shaft. And you had an adventure, and fun, doing it! Not bad for a "grumpy old man"! Shame EE couldn't share in the find, itself, but, safety first always. Again, awesome work guys! Cannot wait to see the next amazing adventure you will bring us! Cheers to you both! Stay Safe!

SUCCESS!!! Perseverance finally paid off. Was funny when you finally figured out what it was when you got up there and saw the door leading into the fire control bunker. At least the door couldn't be open otherwise that would've been really embarrassing realizing you could've just walked in from up there.
It was something great to see the inside of the command room for the fire control bunker. Was something that the rifle racks, though on the floor, were still there! Shame there was the trash scattered around the command room.
Thank you both of you for all the effort to finally get up there and let us see what it was.

A day late watching this but what an exciting adventure. Even though I knew you had made it, I was still sitting on the edge of my seat watching. So glad everything went well. There is no telling how many years it has been since someone has been in that room. Hope you find an entrance into the rest of the bunker so we can see it. Tell Eagle Eyes not to be too disappointed in not seeing what is up there. Safety first. Maybe in a few years you can return and allow him to enjoy the thrill of getting up there to explore.

you should have perhaps added a little about the area up top, light was coming in so must be open. Even if it was inaccessible cliff, would have been a good place to fly the drone outside up to.

Thanks for giving your father the courage he needed EE. EE you knew how to handle the drill. Of course there were 🕷 🕸 🕷 spiders. Did the frog speak German? 😂 Interesting room.
