“Cold Hearted” is a song by American singer Paula Abdul, released as the fifth single from the album, Forever Your Girl.
This song was written after Paula Abdul broke up with John Stamos (of Full House fame) and is said to be admonishing him for his playboy ways.

I was born in the '60s. My main music era was 1970-80. MTV came out in the '80s but we couldn't get it at home. We had to watch it when we visited my grandmother. It was funny, my aunts and uncles and grandparents distracted my parents while we watched MTV. It was great. I lived in a very Christian home so Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw were risky for our home.
Loved this song, I was in grade 10 when this came out, her and Janet Jackson started choreography dancing.

As a lover of dance, I think this was a masterpiece. I thought it was done very tasteful, in my opinion. Love the song.

This was Paula's homage to famed dancer/choreographer/director Bob Fosse's 1979 film "All That Jazz". MTV, in general, was not really appreciate for young kids but most parents were not monitoring what their children were watching. Not much has changed. Set in a British women's prison, Jim Fenner is one of the prison officers. He's an evil, manipulative b*stard who puts the women on both sides of the bars through hell. He IS a reptile, and this video sums him up perfectly. Highly recommend watching the TV show too, if you can access it.
