@Tinhh That's because most SMT games' art, like Nocturne and Strange Journey, are done by Kazuma Kaneko. Persona 2, 3 & 4 (plus some other games like Trauma Centre) were done by Shigenori Soejima. Personally, I like Kazuma's art better; it's extremely distinctive.
Fun fact At first, i'm not prefer kazuma Kaneko artwork because it's quite stiffy. But now, I love it because it's makes a "mature themed" atmosphere. I more prefer kazuma Kaneko than Shigenori Soejima.
@Tinhh I think the style in Nocturne is also more consistent. It builds a theme and sticks with it throughout the game and that included the demon designs as well. In Persona 3/4 the Personas seem out of place quite often, the aesthetic of the enemies and the characters/world is much more plain and less stylised on particular themes. The only exception to this is the boss shadows in P4 which embodied personal characteristics rather well.
Gonna try and learn this on the piano. It obviously won't sound as good because I wouldn't be able to mix harpsichord and piano (and the organ parts will be mostly left out) but I think it could be alright.
Have to disagree with you, I prefer the different styles myself. If Persona 3 and 4 had the same style as the other SMT games and I mean with music as well then it really would be no different than the others.
@FunkyLobstah Much of the DevilSurvivor artwork was Kaneko's though, at the very least the devils. I rather fancied the style of DevilSurvivor, and I think I prefer it to the later Persona games.
This comment session is like ancient history
And yet the song is still in higher quality compared to the remaster…
@@Henrodsantos lol, corporate greed is a bitch ain't it?
And corporate bitches are greedy.
Persona 4's art doesn't have such well draw lips which is my favorite part of kaneko's artwork the realism
You're right, now that you mention it, the style of SMT3 in particular has a very heavy focus on the lips.
