I love the ECY Milburn yarn ...I'm glad you mentioned it,I'm reminded I have a ball of Azalea in my stash I have knitted some lace fingerless mitts, and I used the orange in my stephen west contrast blast socks! It feels sturdy and has a pretty sheen......
Dan, you won’t believe this but I am sitting here watching your newest video and you mentioned Feederbrook Farms. Well, I am visiting my brother in Maryland for Christmas. I just found out, by looking up their website, that I am literally 45 minutes away from their farm and shop. I may have to visit while I’m here.
Thank for the sewing project. It came at a perfect time. I am just finishing the 7th knitted Christmas stocking for my 7 grandkids and I will be making the hearts to hang from each of the hanging tabs. I will embroider each name on the front and on the back I will add the year given and " Made by and add my name"!! I will be doing this in January and have them set to go for next Christmas. Thank you! Thank you Kay! That meal looks so 😋 😋 Merry Christmas!!
Aaaawww - I am on my Christmas holiday, can do whatever I want - and I definitely want to binge watch Bakery Bears episodes and now also "The Bishop's Wife" while knitting on a scrappy sock just for me - pure bliss! Thanks for this great episode!
Projects like your scrappy Reading Shawl Kay are very good for combatting perfectionism. I think a lot of us knitters (especially we anxious ones) suffer from perfectionism. Every time something annoying like the pearl bumps being obvious etc start to frustrate you, consider it a lesson in accepting imperfection and discomfort ;)
My husband and I watch the Bishop's Wife every year. Our lust includes A Christmas Carol, It's a wonderful Life, Meet me in St. Louis, Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, and Holiday Inn.
Thank you for a wonderful year Dan and Kay, it's been such a pleasure to watch all your content. I still have some to catch up on here and there that I was too busy to watch when they launched. So I will look forward to catch up time. 😊I hope you both stay well enjoy some lovely family time over Christmas and New Year! 💙🌲
What a spectacular year 2023 has been for the Bakery Bears and today’s episode was just a brilliant end to this year. Wishing you a relaxing Happy Christmas 🤶🏻🎅🎄
Three more great “Christmas” classics: Remember the Night, Christmas in Connecticut, It Happened on 5th Avenue. All black and white films from the 40s that we ‘old folks’ enjoy during the holidays. Hope you do too.

The might sound so silly but how do you "split your little tiny bits and scraps"? Do you weigh the yarn? Do you wind it off and measure? I think it's such a fun scrappy plan! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Merry Christmas Family! Thanks for all the good things, I'll make your special dinner tomorrow, Kay, it looks delicious. Watch "The Shop Around the Corner" with Margaret Sullavan and Jimmy Stewart, my favorite Christmas movie!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prettier pair of socks than your daughters, Christmas socks. I hope y’all have a very very merry Christmas. Thanks for another great year.🎄
What a lovely episode: that lunch looks delicious! I will definitely have to make it as well as some of those heart tree ornaments: beautiful and so many options!
Thank you for a lovely year Kay and Dan. Slightly behind on my MKAL socks but loving the fact I have time this year to work on them this month. Dan when you said how you loved the fact there are new ways to make mistakes, I am with you on that. I am always learning new ways to knit, thanks to Kay’s wonderful designs but also having to learn how to go back and fix mistakes if I can or move on and embrace the error 😊. I wonder if I need a whole section from Kay on how to fix my silly mistakes 😂. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a healthy and happy 2024.
Terrific festive show! I bought the cookbook on your recommendation, and am eager to try the recipes. I’m all caught up on the MKAL and am delighted with your beautiful pattern. Such a pleasure to knit along with everyone! Merry Christmas, Bakery Bears!
I recently purchased your reading shawl pattern and I want to tell you it was one of the most enjoyable things I have knit in a very long time! My shawl is finished and I absolutely love it! I love your scrappy shawl idea for the pattern too!
Thank you so much! I have written down your recipe and will be cooking it with my brother on Christmas. All the best to you for a wonderful Holiday! 🥳💖

I love your green dress, it really suits you. I love that colour but I can't wear it myself. Thank you for your video. Not celebrating Christmas this year, but enjoy yours.👍🏻👍🏻
Dan, I must tell you that you convinced me to try cubics and I discovered that they are not for me. I like knitting with wooden needles and the stitches kept slipping off the needles and the needles kept slipping out of my fingers.
Merry Christmas both your lunch looked delicious, I love and often roast Mediterranean veg but going to try roast root veg and your ornaments are fab 😊😊😊

I do agree - the Cedar Brook Yarn Farm yarn is a wonderful sunset over the mountains in the Rockies of North America.
