My mom's bestie gave her windchimes shortly before her own passing, knowing it was coming, so that my mom would think of her when she sat outside on the deck. Beautiful gift. You have to think of the fun memories... her bestie said not to listen to the chimes and get sad. ever.
The pair of you are just so much fun to watch. My daughter is 41 years old and I am 65 we have the best time together laughing and joking with each other. If you loved The Women, another one of Kristin Hannah's books is The Four Winds. I have read all of her books and highly recommend any of them. Another really good one that you might like is called Beyond that the Sea, by Laura Spence-Ash (historical fiction).

So we live in Southern Indiana (but my husband and I both grew up in NW Ohio) and here when someone dies, it is a traditional gift to give them a wind chime. We had never heard of it until moving here but I do enjoy the sweet sentiment behind it. I wonder if it's a regional thing??

My neighbors gifted me a wind chime when my brother passed away …. I love it so much and always brings a smile to my face when I hear it!
Loved spending time with you lovely ladies! The problem I’m having with reading is I want to read so many books and have so little time! I’ve been doing a mix of audiobooks, kindle and actual books. I also just want to sit and knit all day. I’m trying to be really strong and fight the urge to start cross stitching again.
New to knitting and I just bought 3 sock kits from you 😊 I would love patterns that I could use the sock kits for.

I'm curious Chels with the emotional support chicken, did you knit the two skeins together or knit with one skein and then used the 2nd skein to finish up the section? The color placement is perfect. Do you know how much yarn you used? You two are a hoot. 😂
She may love seeing the ornament on your tree and then she can take it later when she has a tree. I think you become so proud when you help make those ornaments. So cute! The bleeping. That's me with appointments and gym classes, etc. But married~ haha! 😂All the best, Kimberly
Hello Ladies from Swansea, Illinois. I used to punch embroidery, I think I still have my needles and threader somewhere. I am still unpacking after moving. I am still trying to get my craft room set up plus get me a new chair because my daughter would not let me keep the one that I had.

I am reading The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo. It is a really good family saga. I highly recommend it.
