Congratulations to you and the rest of your family!! That's so exciting. The legacy blanket is beautiful. I usually go thru a knitting slump in the beginning of the year.... I just want to read all the fantasy books! But once spring comes around, I feel so inspired to cast on new projects with lots of color. I will say, there is something that feels pretty nostalgic this year, though!
With regard to retirement, there is a very informative podcast about retirement called, Retirement Transformed. They talk about the changes that take place that are NOT financial.
I don’t crochet enough anymore to make a whole blanket. But I love the look of the Battenburg. I can’t crochet anymore because it hurts my hands. So I’m doing a cozy memory blanket with half scrappy and mini skeins, and half a neutral color. 😊
How exciting, a new baby! Check out the Billie Rompers, they are adorabe. I heard about them on the We Share Needles podcast. I just finished a pair for my new granddaughter along with a French Macaroon sweater. Aorable!!!!
