He explains his viewpoint on why the government should not interfere in the business segment and talks about his professional life in opposition. He further talks about urban development in India and how the government is working towards it. Moreover, he shares his experience of working with Dr. Manmohan Singh's government.
This was a very special episode for me because of the kind of information that I gained from this conversation. The truth is that congress starved Mumbai of good physical infrastructure and focused only on delhi. Today since bjp govt came to power so many infrastructure projects which were stuck from decades have started in Mumbai. Just see how the narrative has changed because this congress guy is no more countering the question of infrastructure development he is saying why there is so much infra development work being done all at the same time, he himself is acknowledging that Mumbai is seeing big infrastructure upgrade across the region but because he is in opposition so just for the sake of opposing trying to nitpick things but he can't run-away from the fact of rapid infra development in Mumbai city.

Nothing surprising here. The Worli Sea Link took 33 years to complete due to bureaucracy, imagine that! The VAG metro took close to 7 or 8 years to complete. The Andheri West- Borivali - Andheri East line began in 2016 it still is incomplete as it extends towards BKC. The Metro work is being out concurrently since the past 7 years now. Corruption and politics is the issue. Meanwhile the citizens suffer due to high levels of air pollution, traffic jams etc.
