I am an aspiring keeper and all the scenarios I have been reading get huge gap that needs to be filled by the keeper. Sometimes i am blocked by some logical issue even in high praised classics like Edge of Darkness. Until now i could only run Paper Chase once with little modification. I find it difficult to find the good script that you could run almost out of the box. I wish i will read one soon enough and directly think "that's the one !" and be filled with excitement about running it.

Covering all eventualities is almost impossible, part of being a keeper is being flexible with the knowledge you have and invent as the player explores. The larger the scenarios get the more complex the plot the more a keeper will need to accept this is part of their role. I got into this in the Crimson Letter Breakdown. Once you are comfortable with Keeping this is the next step, to use tools and event rather than an out of the box scenario. That said i would suggest you look at the Lightless Beacon, Deadlight, and Dead Boarder. These are on the same level of detail as Paper Chase. I think you may like one of them. I'll be looking to cover these in time.

@@RPGNook Great ! Looking forward to your breakdowns, they are very helpful. I love the diagrams as well. We need minimalistic approach to these very confusing scenarios, hehe.

CoC is emersive but more work for a keeper and is only for the most creative Game Master.

I never understood how to using handouts in a great way, just giving a big text to players to read is a no-no in a game and it destroys immersion.
