James Wan describes an interest in an expanding universe with such a confidence you can already tell he had ideas for new stories; that's why so many franchises end up making garbage, they don't actually have a vision they just made a cool first movie that did well financially so they're like WAIT WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY! Someone like Wan seems to have a crystal clear perspective when it comes to the way any of his projects can grow. Amazing artist and filmmaker
Not sure why, but i really enjoy when demonic entities and their lore date back to ancient times. It makes the background of these antagonists even more dense and interesting.
I do too. I've always been fascinated with stuff like that and also stories Like Paradise Lost and actual narratives about individuals in the War Between Heaven and Hell. I've always attributed it to being raised super catholic, but I'm an atheist now and I still find it fascinating so who knows?
It's just annoying you can't watch one of these movies without watching all 500 of them, and catch every detail of every little story to understand what's going on. All these demons and forms, the names, the objects, the timelines, the people... too much to keep track of. I really don't need all that, give me a dude in a mask stabbing people at night. It's doesn't need to be this complicated, intertwined, connected, and involved with all the movies and back stories. These movies just fell victim to the Hollywood "sequel-itus" and got lost in the sauce. Admittedly even the Halloween movies did this too. As soon as movies start acknowledging the events of other movies is where I start to tap out unless there's a REAL GOOD reason for it.
hey! italian here, just a note -- wicca finds its origins in the 1900s. so it wouldn't have offshoots in the 1400s. wicca's a practice built off a few things and combined practices, so it'd be more of the other way around.
It's so evil to mythologize these charlatans. Not to mention that Ed was a pedio-phile (YT censorship, I know how it's spelled). In fact Lorraine even knew of, and approved, Ed's extremely underage mistress.
Hi. There's a Horror History for Five Night's at Freddy's because it also got made into a film. I appreciate the ask because this gives me something to look up. The Quarry? I'll check it out. There are some fun Horror video games out there with lore. I think CZ could do more video game Horror History videos if he wanted to. Thanks for asking.
It's really hard to do because it only exists in that game and the lore you get thru the game, but CZ is really good at filling out plot holes so I'd like to see this
Good to see once again do another Horror Movie Franchise Timeline episode of Horror History, Zac but soon you will do that History of Allyson Nelson episode, The Original Timeline episode, The H20 Timeline episode, The Rob Zombie Timeline episode & The H40 Timeline episode of the Halloween Franchise!
Seeing your growth is insane!!! You’ve become so much more confident and I love seeing it keep being awesome 😎 love your content very entertaining and helps me process my favorite movies and horror history in general

About how La llorona could have gone to Los Angeles, that's easy: at the time of the Spanish Viceroyalty, that is when she would've live, California, Utah, Arisona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and part of Colorado and Wyoming were part of the "New Spain" territory so is not like La Llorona traveled from Mexico to USA, is that Los Angeles WERE Mexico when she was alive so... kind of makes sense that her curse can operate in all those states. In Supernatural they call them "Lady in White"
CZ, an important thing to remember is: If it can be locked- it can be unlocked. There is no "safe" place from any human. If someone wants to get in, they can and will. Just be careful and stay vigilant and also, stay strapped or get clapped, have SOME means to defend yourself.
Smh CZ you forgot a whole ass movie; WHERE IS WOLVES AT THE DOOR? (Its literally the worst movie in the series and no one knows it existed, but it’s part of the conjurverse)
I still sometimes cant wrap my head around Mary Eastey being my ancestor. Its awful what happened to her, and I’m grateful her legacy lives on. Although i love the conjuring movies, this was not her legacy and not who she was. Its sad her name is tarnished to this day..
I've only recently got into watching horror and the more I see about the Conjuring movies, the more I want to see them. I love these history / lore videos.
i recently just started watching CZ and i can't explain how interesting these videos are! 😭 i love the conjuring series and these videos are just a perfect analysis!
I would love to see you explore the lore behind True Detective! Amazing video as always, you brought back my fancy for the Conjuringverse a long time ago, they're kind of better when you tell them 🤗🤗
oh, and by all means, investigate and share EVERYTHING you can on the Conjurverse. I've been diving into your vlog for a while now and I find it veeeeery good. Perhaps a single episode on the Lesser Key of Solomon book is warranted? Sounds like it could be amazing to dive into.
I like these timeline videos a lot. Putting it all together for the series is just wonderful. Thinking about it, other channels might not put this much effort in. Others might just compile the previous timeline videos into one, which doesn’t help much with overarching story, though it’s fine for Things You Missed. Zach goes through the effort of making a new video with all the details together. Thank you, we appreciate you.
this is the best youtube channel on all of youtube just saying , each video has me locked in to watch more and wonder about other horror lore and CZsworld always makes it exciting to watch his videos
California was part of Mexico, so technically, La llorona could've already been there before the U.S, took that territory. At least that one may have a reaon to being there, lol.
I'm not gonna die on this hill by any means, but lot of unexplainable shit exists in this world, is it that much of a stretch to think they MIGHT be real? I don't believe in ghosts ghouls and goblins, but I also don't dismiss it
@ryancromer2110 I would LOVE to be proven wrong. It may sound weird but I Want some Jeepers Creepers shit to happen to me. And I like watching videos about that stuff, but i don't believe any of them are real. I do believe unexplainable stuff happens, but I don't believe it's because of ghosts or anything of the like. I don't believe in cryptids either, but there really isn't anything in us, soul or otherwise, that leaves us or can be stuck here when we pass. I just get tired of people who see something, and their first thought is something supernatural without even trying to figure it out, and people who just accept whatever they are told.
