Its been quite some time, I doubt they'd add anything now. But if they were to add DLC they'd probably add more worlds in the base game than just adding new characters because for those who already 100% the game the only replay value would be beating the *same* levels, in all honesty that sounds pretty lame, but with new added worlds with the new characters would be awesome
Yeah, just adding new characters would be a pointless DLC. But if they also add new worlds, that would make more sense
@@MiloMurphysLaw they can even add an expert mode that after 100% the base game with DLC would allow you to make a new save file that makes every level an expert version. For example the very first level could have 10 seconds on the clock and you have to collect clocks. The enemies can change too like goombas can change to hammer bros.

Maybe the 2nd dlc will be out on the 12th of February the same day the game came out

It's sooooo great to see you make a 3d world video, it was about time!! Also viewing it from a Nintendo standpoint, Bowser Jr. would be fighting his dad if they add him to the base game, in Bowser's Fury he was helping Mario to remove the fury from his dad.

It was only a little half a year ago, and the captain toad "Special Episode" DLC came out 8 months after that port released...

Yeah, Nintendo switch games don't ever get DLC over a "year" after their release... Ever heard of Super Mario Party? It got DLC 2 and a half years after it's release.
I don’t think they should put characters like Sonic and Link in 3D World. That would make more sense for a game like Super Mario Maker

Is the level of creativity so low that you have to resource to the exact same game for the 97th time just because you couldn't think of any other video idea? And also, do you realize that there is no chance that this game ever gets DLC, considering it's, you know, a 3D Mario game? I know Oddysey had DLC, but it was just skins and a few new modes, and those were smaller things. Adding completly new characters to the main game is a terrible idea, because then you would have to beat all the levels AGAIN just to get the 100% completion file. And if they wouls have added new characters to the main game, why in a patch? Why wasn't it released in the base game? It's not like they could just plan and distribute this entire DLC pack out of nowhere in the fly, it's just nonsense.
There's been a whole new AC Direct, a bunch of new games have (and will) come out this October, and yet you STILL talk about this game? It's starting- no, it's just really sad to see how this channel is holding on to the exact same game, and I would love to see it expand to way more this to make this an ACTUAL "Switch Stop".

Cool ideas! I think it would be cool to add a couple more characters and maybe even a new world map for a dlc.
If they added the Kongs from Tropical Freeze in the game, they should definitely add Funky Kong too while they're at it. After all, the Switch version made him a fully playable character with pretty much all the other Kongs' abilities combined, so naturally he would be able to break 3D World's stages wide open!
The art for the characters is a really nice touch, almost looks legit!
They are taken from the 3DS Mario Party games which use the exact artstyle from 3D World
These are some great ideas! I especially like the idea for Wario and Waluigi.

Yellow toad would also be pretty cool. Basically like blue toad, but he would run 2X the speed and he would have a better jump height and speed, similar to Luigi

I think toadette and daisy would go great in this. They both need to be more playable in games like this, especially daisy.
They could put Toadette into the game. They have the animation of Toadette from Mario Maker 2, so they could.
Daisy and Donkey Kong is all I need.
A sprixie fairy (generic) - hovers over dangerous ground
One of the cats from bowsers fury. Probably the multicoloured one- default state is a constant cat suit
A luma- hovers but is immune to damage (basically a super easy mode)
One of the rabbits from the game (speedy with high jumps)

I think it’d be great if they added Yoshi and the kongs (specifically DK and Diddy)
Yoshi could have a double jump. As well as being able to snipe enemies with eggs like in his own games. For balancing, he wouldn’t be about to use power ups
Daisy is the one who gets double jumps. She had that in Mario run
I hope they make a totally new game and you just start with the 4 standerd characters but as you progress you unlock all the other characters. So you will be able to play more if you play more
Cranky Kong would be a fun addition
If DK is added I think they should add K. Rool with a kremling themed level similar to Bowser's fury
I hope Pauline keeps getting used. Also use Waluigi any time and I think Birdo needs more love

Files in the game show that they have unused voice clips for Toaddette, meaning she was planning to be added to the game but was scrapped before release

DK and diddy should never be in a mainline mario game imo. It would defeat the entire purpose of them having their own series.
Same way having mario and luigi in a dkc game would be weird to have.
I want to play as one of the people from New Donk City. They’re jump is half as high as Toad’s and they can’t use any power ups
Well he’s right on adding Bowser Jr. He is in the game files for the whole game. But the thing is Rosalina has a double jump. Daisy might need a different.

I think Daisy and Yoshi should be included in the game. Daisy definitely deserves to be in many more Super Mario games. Fo Yoshi, I could see him having his famous flutter jump. In fact maybe just have him do what he does in Super Mario 64 DS to be quite honest
I can totally see Wario in 3D World. Like, when he reaches max speed when running, he enters "shoulder bash mode", where he runs faster and stops after hitting an enemy.
(I hope this could happen. I've been playing Wario Land a LOT in virtual console.)
I think assigning that move with the Y button would make it not usable while with a power up.
(But Cat Wario would be cursed.)
All The 12 Characters You Said For DLC On Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury Was Absolutely Perfect Including Bowser Jr.
The Characters would be very especially for Speedrunners who want to beat the game as fast as possible.
I would be interest if they can show more Mechanics From Super Mario Odyssey And Super Mario Galaxy.
Maybe Add A Special World Or Something.
I think with the dlc we should get bonus levels that are harder so that these characters that are somewhat easier won’t make the game boring because we will have harder levels
You do not want to mention the Super crown as you know what happened with that power up and the many fan art/rage it caused. So maybe Toadette should be given a new move to her character.

Donkey Kong Country 3D World!
Toadette's an obvious choice for a new character. She already has data in the Switch version that's unused, and she also has additional 3D World assets already made for her in Super Mario Maker 2.
Tbh yoshi would be a pretty good decision for this game because he was originally planned but later scrapped for plessie
yoshi was actully planned to be in 3d world but he was cut because he was too simulare in playstyle to other charters
Donkey Kong, Pauline, Koopa Troopa (Red/Green), Yoshi (Green/Orange/Yellow/Pink/Purple/Black/White/Dark Blue), Diddy Kong, Daisy, and Sonic the Hedgehog. are they DLC in SM3DW + Bowser's Fury in 2021.

If 3D World was gonna get new characters I think they would have been in the base game... As much as I want a traditional Mario game with all these characters playable I just don't think Nintendo's gonna go that far with this title at this point. Doesn't seem like the kind of game that fits a DLC model, but I'd like to see myself proven wrong.
Great ideas though. Pauline and Waluigi in particular are super cool.
