Risotto's headdress is probably a reference to one of King Crimson's songs which depicts a story of a jester who challenged a king.

court of the crimson king is just an album full of straight bangers
On the point of being able to see Risotto walking - that's the artistic direction the series chose to take. He's really invisible, similar to how we're not supposed to hear Killer Queen's explosions but the show does so for effect. That's why the organization found it difficult to pinpoint his whereabouts.
This makes the scene a lot more dramatic. Doppio doesn't see him but we, the audience can.
Also in manga version the way the light bends around Risotto is so brilliantly drawn.
Risotto is a great mini boss it sucks we didn’t get to know him more. Still one of my favorite animated episodes in part 5 🙏🙏
And to think that he's even less fore-shadowed in the original manga. They added a bunch of scenes lol
I remember someone saying once how cool it is to have a villain like The Boss who is different from previous big bads in Jojo and it’s fun to see Araki tweaking how his villains work from part to part.
The Pillar Men were eccentric but had a code of honor (Not you, Kars), but still were very confident and determined.
Dio had his occasional fits of rage when things didn’t go his way, but for the most part he was a confident scheming villain. The World had a very stoic face and appearance.
Kira’s stand reflected how very cold and quiet he was bc of wanting his quiet life. Killer Queen is even more stoic to reflect that.
But The Boss?
He’s pissed off constantly bc he’s so paranoid about his identity being kept secret, even to the point where his stand is always scowling. Even the face ON his forehead is scowling. He talks through his stand so much before we get to see him that it makes King Crimson the most talkative big bad stand yet in the anime, which is such a refreshing contrast from what we got up to this point. He’s so mad all the time and I love it.

And Araki continues to tweak his villains in fun ways. The other 3 (which I won't name) are all very different from each other and with very different ambitions, personalities and goals.

Risotto was actually a very strong stand user, and had the potential to defeat the boss.

@@TbA500N I'd say he has, even though the boss is more mature and experienced he didn't know what risotto's abilities were. risotto will still push diavolo to lose blood so in conclusion he'd have a chance even if it's only small.
@@TbA500N But Risotto wasn't fighting at his best either, he was trying to find out what the actual hell Doppio was first, and right after he discovered he was the boss himself and tried to kill him, he was instantly interrupted by Aerosmith. He could have chopped off his head at any point.

Killing Risotto first is the biggest mistake they could possibly make lol. Risotto's invisibility trick wouldn't work on either Narancia or Giorno, but skipping fragments of time is something none of them have an answer for.
Narancia couldn't sense him(since Aerosmith senses breathing), he thought risotto was the only person there

I've read all 8 parts of Jojo, and this fight is one of my favorites. Such a smooth ending.

Yeah, same. The only fights I like more than this are The Wonder of U’s fights, Kira vs Josuke final fight and Made in Heaven.

It's funny how they were rooting for doppio and the boss in this fight. Personally I was super invested in Risotto winning even though I knew he would lose.

19:00 and this is the reason most jojo characters are on the back foot. Too many people know what their stands can do. And thus know how to counter their abilities. A lot of the time when our hero’s gain the advantage or even footing is because they learned how the enemy stand works or they utilize their own abilities in a new way.
About the gang being part of the boss move, the boss threw some of risottos knifes into them so bucciarati would think they were being attacked and narancia could attack back.

I don't understand why anyone would root against Risotto here, he's getting revenge for his teammates. He's not even interested in killing Bruno's group it's just that THEY were the one's trying to stop him getting to the boss. The boss is a common foe and the only one actually trying to kill all of them. They could have been on the same side but Bruno turned against to boss too late.

They would've but Risotto's group was shady af. There would've been a clash on principles. And yeah, it's possible they could've worked things out if the said group just didn't attack them first.
Oh I forgot. In the Manga, risotto had a back story. I dont know why David's Production did not included that one thou.

I can't be the only one who thinks that King Crimson's disembodied arms floating around Doppio looks cooler than the full King Crimson. It's like a superhero ability.

I did like them too, but remember that the only reason they went against the boss was that they wanted to take him out so they could take over the drug routes and make more money.
Plus we’ve seen them on the job they had no problem with civilian casualties (plus Melone is a rapist…), something the Bucci gang would never do.
I still think they’re a good antagonists for the first half since unlike in part three/SDC we actually know a bit about them as a team and how they relate to each other, plus Araki’s writing by this point is just better than the battles and travel feel so long anymore.

in JoJo if something sounds like a music reference, it most definitely is LOL, every stand name after part 3 is either a song or artist and even in parts 1-3 its the characters who were named after music (the pillar men are literally Santana (latin american rock band), ACDC, Wham! (the pop group), and Kars (after The Cars). And Giorno's stand in this part is named after The Gold Experience album by Prince 💜

There’s a couple theories on Doppio and the boss. One is that Doppio is the original and he in the back of his mind created the boss. The bosses goal is to keep Doppio safe.
The other theory is there are two souls in this body. Which is why King Crimson has two abilities, the time skip and the ability to see a few seconds in the future
There's definitely two souls in their body. This is confirmed at the final fight when they all got their souls swapped. Doppio dies in Bruno's body while Diavolo's soul was hiding in one of the gang.

Part 5 has some fucked up scary stands
Killing risotto was the greatest mistake narancha made in his life... risotto could have been left giorno and his friends, unlike king crimson.... risotto best character in part5 even tho he had a very less screentime
Doppio throwing the scalpels at Bruno, Narancia, and Abbachio was a great move for Diavolo’s survival. Worst-case scenario: Bruno knows that there’s an assassin trying to kill them and he can have Narancia scout/kill the enemy. Best-case scenario: Abacchio dies.

I've always wondered why buccurati and giorno never tried to team up with the hitmen since they basically had the same goal. Plus while the boss is strong I'm pretty sure he's not winning 13 on 1.
By the time they switched on the boss they killed most of the hitman and risotto probably would want no part of them for it

Hitman's goal is to kill the boss and continue the drug route while giorno and Bruno wanted to end it
Risotto would kill Bruno's group afterwards if he has finished the Boss, so no alliance from Risotto there...

@@bradboy9232 nah I wouldn’t say that’s a plot hole, that’s just them not wanting to keep drawing all their injuries through the episodes. And jojo has always been like this tbh, in part 4 they had josuke to heal but in part 3 they would almost always “recover” between fights. A more egregious example from part 5 would be how mista got shot in the head 3 times on the train but was completely fine that night on the truck ride before giorno developed his healing abilities
