I've noticed that Evan Schiff has really high quality timelines on his website and I thought they were really cool too.
Usually, what happens is I take the screen grabs of the editor's timeline, ideally as high-res as possible, then get on a Zoom with the editor and have them describe their layout and their process. Then, the timelines get animated in accordance with what the editor is talking about.
