Very true...editors don't get the credit they deserve. When was the last time you watched a "behind the scenes" look at a film that included the editor? Director. Actors. Composer. Cinematographer. VFX. But rarely the editor (picture or sound). Thanks for checking out the video.
This is damn impressive content. The mind of an editor is a beautiful thing and seeing him explain his timeline with such enthusiasm and pride is inspiring
Fantastic and thanks as always. 'Editing is failing less and less' is hitting the right button at the right time -- what else would you expect from a great editor? The videos, your podcast conversations, and the epic Empire spoiler specials with McQ are godsends in learning the details about how the work is crafted.
Thanks, Chris. That's really all there is. The only other thing of significance that was removed was a viewing of the finished scene, which would get flagged and removed for copyright anyway. But be sure to watch Eddie's Timeline Tours for Top Gun: Maverick and MI: Dead Reckoning if you haven't already.
This is it, but there is another shorter presentation Eddie did on Mission: Impossible - Fallout that is also on this channel. As well as two guided tours he gives of his Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning timelines.
Fantastic. Please do more of these with other editors too. Thank you.
Man, I have such a renewed appreciation for editors. This is mindblowing

An absolute masterclass. Thank you for this.
Who was making noise while this masterclass presentation was on?
Wow, this is pure gold! Even the sheep at 11:31 seems to agree 🐑

@18:50 ok this is a really interesting insight ... anyone have any ideas on how to pull this off in premiere but for it not to suck to set up
First step: boot your computer.
Second step: delete Premiere Pro.
Third step: install Avid Media Composer Ultimate.
Fourth step: profit.
This 3 months old?
is there any way to see the full class?

Your content is great but just improve the thumbnail design and make more catchy and appealing, this will help massively to your channel
