Seeing Clint laugh is almost as rare as seeing Don Rickles let another person talk.
He is laughing because he is trying to think how to kill this guy. I like Clint, but he is not a good person.

Interviews, tonight show appearances, movies like Casino, Kelly's Heroes, Dirty Work and had lots of fun with CPO Sharkey. I thought I could see him live in Vegas on a trip overseas same thing for seeing Norm that's why I didn't watch any bootlegs of his shows until recently.

Looking at this old clip of DON RICKLES roasting CLINT EASTWOOD while on the set of KELLY'S HERO made me realize how much we ALLL miss the guy R.I.P Don.
This is fantastic. To see 'tough guy'' Clint Eastwood let his guard down collapsing in hysterics shows such a human side to the legend plus how genuinely hilarious comedian Don was - you sense the genuine warmth between them. What an absolute diamond Don Rickles was - very sadly missed.
Had no idea Clint could laugh like that. 🤣 Marvelous.
Funniest line was when Carson asked him how they relaxed on the Yugoslavia movie set of Kelly's Heroes. Don said, 'Not much we could do. Tito had the car.'

It will take someone, maybe Chappelle, resisting the opprobrium that comes every time ya subject is mocked for people to lighten up. Or maybe it can only happen in a private setting. Decades later when Clint wins a life time achievement...Don ribs him again; "Clint, 20 years ago we did Kelly's Heroes together- Haven't heard from you since!"
Kelly's Heroes was one of the best films made. The acting performances by all the cast were outstanding. Normally you'd pick one or two actors in a film, but this was a true great of its time. Some of the non verbal comms around Oddball were truly glorious. I tend to watch the film around Christmas time, it never wears thin, which modern films can you say that about?. Great stuff, brilliant actors.
As I recall it: solid but unspectacular.

Carrol O'Conner's delivery of "Hey.........did you LOSE.........my aerial photographs?" was ripped off a million times by my dad every time I screwed something up as a kid. He would get the timing and emphasis just right every time. "Hey........did you RUN over..........your mothers geraniums, while mowing the lawn?"
What those guys did with the dialogue of the script was fabulous and every character got in on it.

Few comedians could ad lib like Rickles. Eastwood also deserves kudos for maintaining his composure, rolling with the punches, and showing that he can laugh along when he's the butt of the jokes.

Back in the 80's I got to see AND Get "HECKLED" BY Don Rickles at the Wisconsin State Fair! I was in the third row with my parents and I was just DYING of Laughter!
He saw me and came down and said, "Geez Kid... Take it Easy! Your aging before our eyes! Don't have a stroke!" THAT WAS IT!
WE WERE JUST FREAKIN' READY TO EXPLODE! It was SO COOL! We got to get his Autograph after the show back stage and talk to him again and he was SO COOL!
He is VERY VERY MISSED! :(

Wisconsin State fair cool, I remember in around 1971 when I was 8 , my dad and I got lost near where they were shooting off the fireworks it scared the hell out of me to the point where I was hiding under any thing I could find like vehicles 🤣we wound up eventually some guy on a golf cart got us out of there and we finally found the car and booked on home 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for jogging that memory man I haven't thought about that since 1970's 🤣🤣🤣✌️🖖 Greetings from Memphis 🍺🍻
My favorite all time movie! So many excellent actors and a great script. A war movie, comedy and bank heist flick, all in one outstanding package!
As a kid the "Tigers" brought me in. As an adult I appreciate the rest of the movie. Its sill my fav!!!
Mine too, when I ever get asked what my favorite movies are this is always at the top, and most people look at me funny and have never heard of it.
What a lot of people missed, including me, is that this may be the only film ever made by Hollywood where a female doesn't have a speaking part. I saw it when it first came out but didn't catch the "no-women" thing until I bought it on VHS. Kelly's Heroes is the ultimate guy flick.
What a performance from Don Rickles and “the man CLINT EASTWOOD”, its completly outstanding how Don makes his usual roast towards Clint, and Clint laugh as we have never seen him before. A rare movieclip from a time long gone, we still got Clint among us, Don has be long gone and so has the 1960’s. A big THANKS for loading this piece of pure Gold. I hope you Americans take really good care of this piece and make your outstanding movie treasures alive❤

I love this clip. I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan, but seeing him laughing like that at himself makes me love him even more. It takes a big person to take all that ribbing in good grace. Don Rickles was in a whole different class.

Kelly's Heroes is one of the BEST "war" movies ever. Watch it if you havent! Donald Sutherland is also in it, and kicks ass! All these actors in this movie are geniuses. Glad this movie is being rediscovered for the classic it is!

I remember my Mother taking me to see Kelly`s hero`s when I was only a young lad. I must have seen it on Tv at least 20 times since then and I still watch it to the end. Brilliant.
I found it on DVD at a local thrift store some months ago for only $3! Still in the plastic wrapper!

I've watched all of clint Eastwood movies so many times and I never get tired of them. He has his own style just like John Wayne did. He's still gorgeous even now in his later years and one of the best actors.

John Wayne didn't like that young whipper snapper Clint Eastwood.
They offered The Duke Dirty the Dirty Harry role first and he said, "John Wayne won't play a character like that!"
Also on the set of Wayne's last film directed by the same guy that directed Dirty Harry, he wanted Wayne to shoot a bad guy in the back, "John Wayne will never shoot anyone in the back"he declared. So they changed the scene so the bad guy gets shot in the front. after the scene was shot the director went up to Duke and told him, Eastwood would have shot him in the back. and Wayne was pig biting mad at that!

I saw "Kelly's Heroes " on a Saturday afternoon matinee. I was around 10 years old and I had already seen the spaghetti westerns and was surprised when it came out. I loved it from the first time I saw it. Everyone in this movie was at the top their game. This clip tops it off. Thanks if my mom were still here I would have sent it to her, she loved Clint.

@Jorge Ciclet yes, those are all very good actors, some have played some incredible roles; but all of them, except for maybe one or two, only illustrate my point further. And not one of those great actors are even in the same league as Eastwood in his prime. Not even close.
@Tony You are saying it like those men represent our society. And yes, in some way people look up to celebs and that is just the wrong way. Actors are entertaining, but what are they beside that? They get too much credit for anything and that's why they are being used for politics - something, almost everyone has an opinion about, but somehow theirs is more valuable than ours. Real men exist, but the media is too strong and blinds people by making them believe that wishy washy masculinity and watching what you say is what society needs.

i saw the movie , i was 16 years old and it was a great movie. i am now 68.6 years, still watch the movie and it is like a breath of fresh air. KH had great actors and a great script. when hollywood still produced gems.

At 5-years-old I thought Don Rickles was the funniest thing around. At 52 and counting, I haven't seen a reason to change my mind.

One of my favorite movies ever. I grew up watching these movies with my mom and dad. I got tidbits of truth and fodder. I miss my folks so much. I never heard my fathers war story until the 2nd to the last visit with him . The last visit was the good bye visit and he literally rode off into the sunset... I never saw him alive again. But his visitt several years prior, after a night out, he finally told the tale. I didn't expect it and didn't want to interrupt. It's not recorded. It's only in my mind.
Don you were the best. In stand up and improv you were number one ...and a man that did not ever need to resort to the cheap thrills of curse words to make us laugh. RIP Don.
If you think Rickles didn't curse you obviously never saw him preform. But other than that I couldn't agree with you more,....he was one of the funniest comics to ever work in the business.

What a change of scenery! Clint has always been a mature guy in the last few decades. It is refreshing to watch Clint as a kid to a mature fellow.
Don Rickles could dress down anyone and still show his affection for them. Truly funny and great actor/comedian. I like Eastwood, whether or not Hollywood does.

A classic movie, and both of them were legendary.
I loved this clip of Don Rickles interview with Clint Eastwood. A person had to be tough to endure Rickles. But I loved to watch Rickles on the Dean Martin Roasts. ❤Clint Eastwood and Don Rickles.
Oh my god, Don was on a roll here. Kelly's Heros is a great movie and Rickles is great in it. The guy could really act. Multi-talented Rickles was. Not to mention hilarious!

Two men I have really enjoyed and admired through the years. I sure miss Don Rickles, and hope that Clint can stay around a little longer. Both these men helped make the world a nicer place.
Don Rickles was a walking roast, it just came out naturally. The guy was a comedy genius.
One of my favorite movies top 3, I have already watched 2 this year. There isn't another movie like this anywhere. You'll never see movies made like this again!
Don was the only comic of that time that was allowed to make fun of Frank Sinatra. He once asked Sinatra to stop by his table during dinner so to impress his date. When Frank stop by to say hi, Don said, FRANK NOT NOW, can’t you see I am busy.
I had heard that story awhile back and was trying to remember who Don asked to come to his table to impress the date. So fun

Not sure the date but the way Don told the story it was one of the funniest moments I remember of Rickles. I believe he had some type of mob connection so was allowed to make fun of Frank.

Don roasted everything and everyone with that endless wit. Rickles was excellent in the movie with savales, Clint and Sutherland…classic. The moral of the story is always keep your supply chain and deal makers close!

Clint is so docile and kind, hard to believe he play's all these really tough guys.
Rickles is 1st class all the way. Eastwood is a movie legend. Both are awesome, amazing and great! Both had beautiful careers and made many millions of folks happy and laughing along the way. God bless them both.
