Thank you for the review. I am very happy that you love this scent, but viewers, please don't blind buy this scent. A sample will give you enough entertainment, unless, of course you love unapologetic musks and animalics.

My Favorite Zoologist so far. I am wearing it today and loving it. I don't think it is challenging at all. Pure calming and natural earthy scent.

Any leathery tones in it? If not, which zoologist is the most leathery and dark?
Hyraceum is definitely one of the most challenging notes to me so Hyrax wasn’t for me but wasn’t as bad as I expected. Sven from SP Parfums manages to create some weird / challenging frags as well as some beautiful easy to love scents for the more faint of heart. I recommend SP Musk, Powder and Dust and Poudre De Riz for more appealing options yet still very niche.
i got a sample of this a few days ago and its probably the best animalic ive ever smelled. 10/10 for me.
Right....So I am also into dark fragrances and this is now on my list for purchase....although Cubaknow initially pushed me away from it.
Have you experienced Prin Lomros fragrances such as Saringkarn and Nocturnal poetry? These are on my to buy list as well. My signature is amouage intermude. Got the laudano nero based you review and that one is amazing and lasts and lasts and lasts and then lasts some more.

I personally couldn’t wear this fragrance just because I work with animals daily and my goal with most fragrances is to cover that up, but the artistry behind this scent is absolutely stunning. I’ve sampled many fragrances from SP Parfums and loved almost all of them. My favorite, SP Musk (which is a fluffy patchouli fragrance) just gotta an animalic flanker with added castoreum. Perhaps that would be in your wheelhouse?
I’ve tried quite a few from Zoologist and I thoroughly enjoy them. Civet and Macaque are two of my favorite. Hyrax is one I’ve not yet tried, gonna have to get my nose on it. Great video 😁

Ok while this is not for me (not my style), I looooove to smell these types of fragrances on my husband. The best way I can describe the dry down is Tonka Imperiale (not sure why?) with heavy musk and the smell of someone who’s been outside all day. A Neanderthal vibe....spicy, earthy (and almost aldehydish??) Anyway, great video. You da man!! 💯

Have not discovered zoologists just yet. From what I hear they are pretty out there.
Be warned.. I blind bought this because animalics are my thing and the more aninalic the better... but this was too much for me and had to pass my bottle on! I couldn't get over the human faeces and dank morning breath notes ;) The quality is undeniable though.

Didn't like this one. I cant enjoy it and feel uncomfortable wearing it. Good thing I just got a sample and not a full bottle. Other scents from this house are way better and more wearable imo. Believe it or not I think TRex is an easy one!!!
