- Spend the day with me at work! Weave and create yarn with me in my home studio and come wander with me in the lovely streets of Caen ☀️
Vegan Sesame Cauliflower Recipe:
1/2 medium head of cauliflower
Batter:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup non-dairy milk
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 tbsp sugar
Some sriracha or hot sauce to taste
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
green/fried onions to sprinkle on top!
Dip the cauliflower head into the batter and then into some breadcrumbs, put them into a lined baking tray (I lined mine with foil) and cook in the oven for 20minutes at 425°f (220°c), flipping the cauliflower halfway through.
Then pour over the sauce making sure to fully coat all the pieces and cook for another 10minutes in the oven.
Serve with rice, and some toppings of your choice! We went for fried onions and fresh green ones as well. Delicious!
I’m also not the best with chopstick but I’m usually way better than in this footage! 😅

Thank you and you're very welcome I hope you'll like it! Haha it is indeed the land of cream and cheese! 😁 But honeslty I've been super pleasantly surprise to see how vegan friendly the city of Caen is! We have several restaurants here that are 100% vegan, and more and more options at the supermarket so it's improving for sure! It's not the case everywhere unfortunately and France all together isn't the most vegan friendly country, but it's getting better, slowly but surely 😉 If you are ever in Caen, check out the Moon & Sons, it's an amazing all vegan bar/café/restaurant with the coolest decor! 🙌
