    Usually they stick it in the mid ground off the shop floor but be careful as you might bottom out on larger bumps. My Glide did with a loud "clack" afew times even tho it was set between 85-90 kgs lol!
    Nice vid and informative as I've not even played with my rear shock on the FXBB just yet (sprung seat looks a little awkward to get around without pulling everything off so I've left it for now 🤣) 🤘

      David MacFarlane Day come to think of it I did bottom it out on setting 3 a few months back going over a bump in the road at 40mph! It sounded pretty awful...hmm now you got me thinking?! Might end up stiffening it if I start pounding metal 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤘

    Great video. have you ever had any clearance problems with that flat crash bar, or not so much since it's more forward on the bike that your pegs would heavily scrape first anyway?

    Nice review, very useful info. I just bought an FXBB last month. It didn’t come with the tool to make the adjustment here in China. Did you have to buy the tool separately from Harley?

      Thanks man...No mine came with the bike, along with the hand book and little ruck sack. You should get one with the bike if its from the dealer new? Id go ask for one or I know you can pick them up for about $10 from the dealer?

    I gotta go check the settings on mine now! Who knows what they set in on straight out of the factory? I should be riding it on the 1 setting. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the videos bro!

    from my understanding the shock is only capable of a midset adjustment if you want it better you need new gas shock you will find if you put it on one it will lower the bike to maximum lowest point it wont change much about how the shocky operates

    That means your dealer never adjusted it for your weight becasue the default on these bikes is setting 3

    I think it partly do to the cold tiers and roads definitely have to be a little bit different that bike is dirty 🙁

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад

      Ron Wissinger I know I seen the crap under the seat and thought I’d better give her a good clean! The problem is at the moment, there is so much salt and grit on the road, you have to wash the bike after every ride😭😭

      @@StreetBobberVlogger Recently picked up a street bob... first ride out, yup rain for 50 miles. When cleaning the bike that night (with the seat off) noticed a gap between the rear fender and back shock mount ! This lets all the road crap and water fling from the rear tyre straight under the seat, onto the shock and into the battery/electrics box !!! Definitely needs a small piece of trim in that area...bad design or cutting costs ?

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад +1

      ernst jo yeah it’s rubbish design. I’ve not done anything to mine, but under the Seat is muddy as hell 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Great video, yeah same feels on not liking setting “7” on our 2018 FXBB. It was way stiffer but didnt turn in well and you felt a ton of bumps. I put it back to what it came with i think “3” or “4” im about 124.7kg so ill have to give setting “1” a try.

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад

      madfzr I’m 80kgs and I’ve got mine back on 3 as I keep bottoming it out on big bumps! 🤘🤘🤘
