    Just ordered the bung king risers and bung king bars, but I went with the 8" rise with 2 inch pull back because I'm only 5'-6" tall and I think the pull back in the risers will help me to still see the gauges

    Great job looking awesome. Blasting up and down with Saxon, heavy metal thunder sound track. Strong arm of the law album. When cruising louie louie motorhead cover version while passing by tattoo parlour. Winter days sitting in shed with your harley beer in one hand looking at your bike with slow train by status quo track 8 album quo. Harley bikes I love them even when you not riding sitting down in your shed looking over your pice of awesomeness creation with a good beer and sounds playing waiting for the warmer weather. Ain't got a shed oh well time to remove doors and in the front room she goes 😂😎

    needs a 2" tank rise to get the lines nice from tank-seat...in my opinion

    Well done with the vlogs. That seat (detailing) looks as if it should be in an expensive lawyers' waiting room. Maybe if the edges of the the rider's back and pillion sections (somewhat) match the contour of the rear fender would give it a greater streamlined effect??? Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks buddy! The seat is rather nice isnt it? But square lol. Damn its comfy and holds you in well.

    Nice bike well done! I would leave the 107 engine. I would try a Sportster 4.5 fuel or the 5 gallon from LowRider. Matt Laidlaw, made a good video on club style and I hope Harley-Davidson comes with one in 2019 in a 114 or 117 engine.

    What made you go with a Saddlmen seat over a BMC widowmaker? Im torn between the two seats as I love them both. But I really like the custom look of the BMC Widowmaker. Looking at a two up seat Im happy with but my lady will be happy with as well. Thanks in advance for any info!

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад +1

      dfouler62 it was a toss up between the SM and the BMC seat! Purely down to look in the end as Saddlemen will and did customise my seat for a tiny extra charge. They told me they could make it any colour and stitch I wanted. The great thing about the BMC is the difference material textures they offer. I also heard the Saddlemen is slightly more comfortable and a bit better at holding you in? Honestly though it was all down to looks, both are great seats and personally the SM looked better imo 🤘🤘🤘🤘

    • @dfouler6230
      @dfouler6230 5 лет назад

      StreetBobberVlogger Thanks for the info mate. I think I am leaning more towards SM as I think comfort is more important. I love the BMC looks but if I cant keep my ass in the saddle due to hot spots, than I just wasted some £££s.

    Bike looks awesome! How did you find starting out on a V twin from just passing your test? I'm going to do my full license and want to buy a Sport-Glide (Absolutely love that bike) but keep getting "told" you should by a Sportster or a Smaller engined bike first.

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад

      Nick nah that’s rubbish! Buy what you want! Harley’s are so easy to ride. The first few weeks you just needs to take it easy. Get to know the bike and your limits. Then slowly progress your riding. The “bigger engines” are obviously quicker and have more torque, but it’s not stupid power. It all depends on how heavy you are on the throttle. The weight will be your biggest issue, but you will get used to it in no time and won’t even notice the weight. I had a road hing for two weeks when my bike went in for a Stage 1. I’d only been riding about 3-4 weeks. In my opinion, get the bike you want, go test ride a few, start small (Iron 883) and work your way up (sports glide), but once you get on a Softail M8 you will not want a Sportster! 👌

    SBV don't want to beat a dead horse but you list part #63134-10A on this vid & #63140-10A on the flush mount cap vid. Which is the right one? Thanks

    Oh yeah, was going to ask you about the riser.
    I still have the stock mini-ape on, but after 7 months, I feel I've been over-extending my arms all these times.
    I'm 170 cm, short guy
    Had the mechanic adjusted angle down a little towards me, helped a little.
    They said if I install maybe a 2 inches riser that reaches towards me, maybe will give more comfort.
    I'm not sure where to get one at the moment. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the idea of skateboard grip tape. I was wondering what to do about my feet sliding off. Also I was considering going with a similar style foot peg as you. Is there any downside to those style foot pegs?

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад +1

      The crash bars scrape before the pegs!!! Not good! But other than that all good!

    • @williamhyland4253
      @williamhyland4253 5 лет назад

      Good to know. I was going to take the crash bar off once Harley puts out forward controls for the street bob. Wheels and forwards will be my next mods. Just want to wait for street bob specific ones from Harley to save a few bucks. I recently bought a handlebar bag that Harley just came out with. It’s kind of tall and thin and is a rigid fake leather. It works pretty well on my risers. I keep sunglasses in it.

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад

      Yeah Im takin mine off in the spring...looking at the Fat Bob forwards, as they fit. Really wont some new tires as the stock Dunlops are rubbish! Been looking a a swing arm bag but its getting one to fit now i have the plate relocate!

    • @williamhyland4253
      @williamhyland4253 5 лет назад

      I have the Harley softail swing arm bag that came out earlier this year for our bike. It really looks nice. And pretty handy. As far as the license plate goes, l left mine in the original spot by the left side tail light. Only I turned it vertical.

    The seat is a bummer. The stock seat looks WAY better than the ugly saddlemen, but if it's really that uncomfortable...

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  4 года назад

      Edward Teach that’s a matter of taste I guess as I prefer the step up look. But yes the stock seat is rubbish for comfort.

    Why would you care whether I approve your mods or not? Even though I like what you did to your bike, you should treat my opinion as worseless as dog shit because it's your bike and you do whatever you feel like.
