I lost my brother in 2020 to substance addiction. Praise God that he was saved. Devastating but we have a blessed hope. I'm so blessed to see this sister has found freedom and peace and salvation. Great interview.

Yes, even some saved people are having struggles these days with addictions of various types. Life is very tough, even knowing Christ. I have been walking with the Lord a long time, and have heard some things that people are going through. I have been through quite a lot with my children in the past. I never thought I could get through it all, but God keeps me going. The biggest thing I think is for people to slow down and depend on God a day at a time. It's so easy to keep forgetting that
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 3:23 we don’t know what happens or what will happen in each souls personal relationship with God. We also don’t know the answer to the question what happens if we repent on our death bed. Best for us to not judge what we don’t know for sure, instead we pray for the soul of the departed that God may have mercy on their soul and that they may be in eternal joy and bliss with our Heavenly Father.
@@elizabethturpin2562 Personal relationship is another term injected by the churches but found nowhere in the scripture. Yes it’s true all have fallen short of the glory of God because everyone on earth has inherited Adam’s sin and is made in the image of Adam. But Jesus is making us in the image of God through the Gospel (Christians that is: born of the Water and Spirit and walking in his commandments blamelessly) and the bible commands us to judge righteous judgment and someone who is on drugs and died whilst on drugs did not make it into the kingdom of God. Drugs whether recreational or medical is Witchcraft and they that use such things will not enter the kingdom of God.
If you would like sound teaching on the doctrine of Christ and not the things you hear in the religious arena that keep one bound please reach out to me as I have a brother who can instruct you in this.

I prayed. Might I suggest that you hold a prayer vigil for your brother - either alone or with other Christians? Like the church did for Peter, spend as much time as you can praying for him, over a long time. I do not know why, but it seems that sometimes this is what God wants us to do. Other times he answers a quick prayer. I do not understand why he cares, but it seems he does.

I encountered a young girl in store other day clearly addicted to meth and homeless. I was able to give her few things and a prayer rosary. She said I need it. Please pray for her with me

My grandkids had to look on their mother for the last time yesterday during her funeral after an overdose. She had two other children besides my two grandkids. Such a tragic loss for these 4 beautiful children. Praying the Lord guides their lives. Thank you for sharing this video!

I've been struggling lately wiht some trauma resurfacing and feeling emotionally all over the place. My husband and I are in two different geographical locations and it's hard being alone raising our daughter, It feels like I'm under constant warfare sometimes. I just want to be with my husband and get through this emotional trauma.

I am a recovered alcoholic by Jesus Christ through taking the twelve steps of AA and growing in my relationship with Him through His word. Folks said it was too much, but Jesus said. “Trust Me, with my son.” 🔥❤️🔥🔥 Yea Lord, though you slay me, yet will I serve you. I miss him so.

I understand your pain. I also have a son who went down this road. As much as we love them, I remind myself that God's love is greater than mine. I pray for your son and mine to be set free in Christ Jesus, and that we are healed from broken hearts.
In the bible it says God loves us and our offspring.
I'm going to watch soon but I just lost my son to drug addiction. He died on Oct 1 and it is still so raw but I am happy that you are posting stories like this. Tha k you guys! I love you all so much.

Great story! I too had my formative Christian years spent in a cult. From 17 to 26 I lived with over 200 people and moved around. Even spent 4 months in Haiti! But I knew it couldn’t last realistically and God plucked me out. Now I’m a grandma of two and mom of three and have a wonderful spiritual husband. God is good

This is a beautiful story of redemption. And to raise their children in a different way that glorifies the Father is so beautiful and is clearly seen just by looking on their faces.
I can sense her grief and anguish in her heart when she talks about it, it takes great courage to share such a testimony, but we can clearly see God's Amazing Grace through it all, thank you so much for sharing, may the Lord continue to bless and keep you.

This was exactly what I needed this morning! What a beautiful God we serve! I have a friend who's son is struggling with addictions we have been praying for him. I work around college kids and hope to be a witness to them. This was so encouraging! God bless both of these beautiful families!

Seeing Shuli’s story is so encouraging! My youngest sister has been suffering deeply to the same kind of addiction for over a decade yet she’s only in her 20s. I pray every day for God’s redemptive grace to be able to work in her life. I know God is able & I praise the way he works in our lives ❤

My daughter was on Meth and felt God's convicting power when she opened up a Bible and a scripture jumped out at her. She cried out to God right there in her abusive drug addict boyfriend's home and got SAVED ! She called me immediately and wanted me to drive her to rehab. She's been there 3 weeks and is doing fabulous. She reads her Bible, prays daily, and has since been baptized. There is no doubt she was touched by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ ! I praise God every day that he saved my daughter from a life of destruction.
I have gone from Drugs in College to Jesus redeeming me and how through faith in Jesus he has redeemed and delivered me!
Thank you for sharing this. God's redemptive love can pull anyone out of the pit, in any situation. We just need to answer and obey his call.

I too was an alcoholic and a drug addict, but got save 6 years ago. I remember I came home from drinking and doing drugs that night and I open the RUclips app and a recommendation song video came on from casting crowns a song called heres my heart and I just got down on my knees prayed and there I gave my life to Jesus. Since then I been following Jesus. All glory to God.
This testimony blessed me to tears. Wish I could express to both of your families how God has used this candid interview to give fresh courage and HOPE to my prayers for my own family challenges. God IS the Ultimate Redeemer. Praise His Holy Name..
I love these stories of redemption, freedom, peace. My sister is a Christian but she has gone back on some drug issues, prescription drugs, and is losing her way. She was a cocaine addict and alcoholic about 20 years ago. It hurts so to see those things draw her back in. Please help me pray that she will find her way again.

Touching testimony, and I'm sure many can relate to this story! I can't relate to the drug addiction, but I certainly know (praise be to God) what healing is and that sometimes it takes a season of darkness for us to truly find the Light 🙏
