3:50 when looking at both tactics the first looks like a safer option, the second would be useful for when your movement is limited like in a train where you don't have much space to work with. The second option doesn't remove you from the line of attack though, and with the chance of failing I think it should be seen as a backup move when the first is not viable.
You were also explained very carefully what to do and shown why and how it works. But I guess you reckon you can only use techniques you saw in a street fight?
Keyboard Warrior - Because the only way to learn it is to go slowly, and the only way to teach is to show it relatively slowly. You'd be surprised how fast the moves happen after they've been drilled into your system. Aikido is based on techniques - systema is based on principles. But I understand why this common misconception exists, among people who watch youtube videos and draw conclusions from there.
Are you sure man? Pushes are very fast. This won't work at all. Maybe if their push is slow and weak, but not against a strong aggressive dude. I give you points for trying though.
Sorry, but someone who is about to shove you will be in your face and it will be fast enough that you won't have time for this. A threat is not a willing partner in slow motion, "it looks pretty" does not usually make for good self defense movement.
You have the best martial arts channel on YT.. these are super clear and even better not dragging on for about an hour with blah blah ..MORE PLEASE
Yeah, most practical and realistic self defence techniques. Useful in real street fight and works best if mixed with krav maga.

Someone has a rubber legs.
I can perform all those techniques with my prosthetic hand at this speed with cooperating "oponent" too.
Azog Defiler You watched a "demonstration" not a fight.
OK then, I will use it only in demonstration, not in a fight.
You were also explained very carefully what to do and shown why and how it works.

That's the problem with most of those systema guys. They never do their techniques full speed (when even Aikido does lol).
