the biggest thing is to stay relaxed as possible even with adrenaline rushing through you, one thing you can do is overstimulate your head with loud noises and fast pace things... or more practical have 2 of your friends come at you with intent to punch you for real in the body, not head... and train train train sparring with real intent. will cause you to overtime get more comfortable with attacks. Basic's Exhale while being punched or kicked and do it when giving the blows as well. not sure the extent of your training but there's a few tips.

Clearly very practical. And not a martial art that requires the "attacker" to be of the same style and doing what is needed to demonstrate the moves. This approach to defending agist a kick looks like it would work even if the attacker was a larger man. Or if this was taught to a female and the attacker was male. This is a martial art that was designed for the Russian military. Just as Krav Maga was designed originally for the Israel military.
I just hope these guys are responsible in putting out these videos to ONLY teach fundamental self-defence techniques and not "kill tactics"...as this is a military combat defence/offence system. Knowing there WILL be idiots what will also watch these videos and will try them. Maybe on their little brothers. Kids. Best thing to do obviously would be to join a Systema school if some one truly wants to learn.
