- Part 2 of our epic Mt Apo hike to the summit - The Highest Peak in the Philippines!!
Nat & Nat braved the climb to the summit, relishing every moment - from the struggles to tears of joy.
Mt Apo was a challenging hike for us, but rewarding in every way! We also did the Bansalan trail, which was mostly a forest hike. The mud and the steep incline added to the challenge, of course!!

@@TheTravellingFoxes Mt Kinabalu Malaysia, Jade Mtn or (Qilai Mtn rated as most dangerous) Taiwan, Mt Hallasan South Korea, Mt Apo, and Doi Inthanon Thailand. Depending on my schedule maybe Mt Fansipan Vietnam as well. 👍

It was a tough one! Hehe
Went there 3 times Kidapawan, Bansalan, Kapatagan during really difficult trails in 1985, 86, 87 just before going overseas for 30 years!
That must've been a good memory before leaving the country! I've done Mt Apo once and I am good haha

Never believe a guide when you ask how far ! lol "One hour, over the next hill or you're nearly there" are all to be taken with a pinch of salt. I learned this from my treks to Everest Base Camp & Kilimanjaro. Tough climb as walking in mud and wet tree trunks is energy sapping. Well done.
Oh my gosh so true!! Either they don't care about time or thats their way of encouragement! Ohh nice! I've done Everest Base camp in 2015, I guess I was lucky we didn't get any mud! It was very dry and cold.
@@TheTravellingFoxes I think it's their weird way of encouragement (that discourages) ! EBC was an amaing experience. Kili is just an uphill slog with no villages or people to see. Next year I'll do Stok Kangri in Himalayan India/Kashmir 6153m

We didn’t use a gimbal here because it is just extra weight. Just a selfie stick :)

Hi I'm watching since episode 1of this journey how long po kayo ng hike I mean what time you start hiking and how many hours in total?
Hello! We started our trip from Davao city around 3am…reached the start of the hiking trail at 5 or 6am. Total hike to reach the base camp is around 7-8hrs. Hike to the peak is 3-4hrs!

Yes mine was around that size.. but if you get a porter even a 20L for yourself with water, jacket and trail snacks is enough

Anjo's wife lisly is a dear friend of mine..I enjoyed watching your vids.. It was my son's first mountain climbing experience, he said it was the best punishment he got from me.. hahaha
