"Yes."
"So" and "yeah"
Did anyone else think they were going to be decoratively cutting the avocado?
me! like making it look fancy
Yep. At first i was like dude they suck xD
Some did. Some left it very intact. I would hope someone wouldn't just make one cut split and pit and just throw it on the plate. That sounds insane.
1 minute is hardly any time at all. Michelin star chef would be pressed to make a decent presentation in 60 seconds. They did a good job.
So many cheats and enhancements..i was expecting insane knife skills with the title of the video.

Priya can’t do anything on her own. Her level of ineptitude is mind-boggling. They should fire that fool and hire her parents
@@nickjagdeo1 Christ man, lighten up
Priya has started to feel like a cartoon character or comedy show character now, past few weeks every time they do something with her she's always trying to turn the task/dish into something Indian related and talk about her family/parents. It's like that's the job she is told to do by the producers (Let's be real, that's almost definitely what's happening here), put an Indian twist and talk about her family every single time she is on camera and in a video.
As an Indian, It's honestly starting to feel kinda cringe and weird honestly. Like the producers at BA are exploiting Indian food/culture and Priya being Indian for views and diversity points.
@@bunndumm Why do you find it wrong that the person with the best outlook on Indian food happens to be Indian? Exploiting? Really? Come on.. This just seems like outrage culture at its lowest.

Why is Chris always so calm and such a perfectionist in these challenges? 😂
His personality shines through. As does everybody's.

Probably because it's the most logical, the best, attitude for a challenge like this.

This series would be much improved by having them taste each others dishes.
Anthony Castanza Blind tasting, and choosing the top 2 or 3.
It definitely would, but think the problem with that is all of there schedules are different so they have to record these at different dates so without tons of scheduling it's be almost impossible to get them all together.

I don't get why you guys didn't just hire Priya's mom?
Now THAT is a question I'd like the answer to.
I have a hard time liking Priya. I'm sure she's a nice person but every "Indian" dish makes me like her less. This doesn't look like a kachumber at all.
Shes just slipping random hindi words in at this point.
Ya'll are so mean. It's not easy being a second gen food hero. Kachumber, or cachumber, is a salad dish in Indian cuisine consisting of fresh chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, lemon juice, and sometimes, chili peppers.
@@kristophervelez6633 I wouldn't go so far to attack her personally- rather yes, it would have been nice to see the kachumber with tomato, and onions maybe. My indian opinion is that for me its having the chili in there that defines kachumber and she did that so yah.

It took me a moment to realise you meant the flavour of cilantro tastes like soap to some people and not that there are a group of people who eat cilantro flavoured soap...
@@patrickglaser1560 No. It's genetic. People who find cilantro soapy tasting have a variant gene that causes them to more strongly detect the aldehydes in cilantro making it taste like soap.

Except Brad says avocaahhdo.
I'd say avocado is more so a vegetable than a fruit (culinarily speaking). It's mostly used as a savoury component than a sweet one.
@@GerikDT Really depends on the culinary culture. A few of the comments here focus on how some culinary cultures treat it as a sweet ingredient and others as a savory one.
@@O2life Fair enough. I guess what I meant is that most westerners should consider it a vegetable. Basically just pointing out that Brad's question was very reasonable, because avocado's a weird one.
@@GerikDT It is weird, but tasty. Some of my favorite botanical fruits are culinary vegetables in the US: tomatoes, peppers, okra, cucumbers....
A spice aside: Allspice is also a fruit, but it's used more in sweet dishes in the US (not sure about The whole West...), and savory ones in several other countries. Mace is another spice fruit, and it's used both in sweet and savory stuff.
