- We had a very nice weekend for the Fourth of July, I wanted to do a lot more but my family they work so hard and they just wanted a day to just relax and enjoy each other‘s company. So we had two wonderful meals. We played yard games and then went golfing. But that weekend we went out on the boat Did more golfing laying in the sun did some yardwork and gardening. And now today my husband is 100% hay season. It’s been raining so much and he hasn’t been able to get everything he wants done in the hayfield and this whole week is supposed to be absolutely beautiful so he says OK get my hay sandwich And drink ready in the field this week.
I think my kids look forward to the holidays because they get work off and they can just veg at the big house as they call. It is my new name of my house now. All the kids say are you coming to the big house which is kind of cool honestly. And so I make sure that I do it all up and I go overboard with the holidays because my kids love it so much and I truly love all the holidays, you know Christmas is my favorite. But I just wanna show them how thankful I am for how hard they work and all they do for me and so like I’ve said before my language of love is cooking and baking for my family.

That's incredible your family manages to all gather together. We were a family of 7, now included are son and daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. We rarely are all together anymore as they arein the medical field or law enforcement. Schedules rarely line up together. They have also moved away for better paying jobs. You're very lucky.

Your stove is gas powered. You don’t need your electronic starters to start your burners. You can light them with a match by simply turning the burner on and putting a lot Mach next to the burner. By the way breakfast looks amazing!❤
We lived in a house that was being remodeled and had no stove. We cooked everything even a turkey and pizza on our grill it was fun.

Honestly it seems your family doesn’t appreciate you 😢 you are such an amazing mother and it hurt when your son and his fiancé ignored you saying “happy 4th of July”. The least they could’ve done is replied instead of just standing there. Hope they aren’t taking you for granted. Just know we appreciate you ❤❤

I usually finely slice/dice onions so small my kids don’t know they are in the food but they don’t like mushrooms so I cut the pieces big enough they can pick around them because I love mushrooms

HibHeather, have you researched generic whole house generator that come automatically on when you loose power, one for your house one for the chicken house? Its expensive to start but it daves in the end.

You need to buy some clips for your bangs when your cooking that way they stay out of your eyes and you’re not always having to move them away. Keeps food out of your hair also.

Why in the world are those poor horses keep inside you have plenty of land so why dont let all the horses out in the pasture so they can move around freely and get fresh air and same thing with those poor pitiful chicks it is s so cruel to keep all those chicks closed in why can't they free range All Animals Have Feelings unlike some people
She explained in her video. She can't let out the male and female horses at the same time so they rotate out. She also explained why the chickens can't free range at this time. The bird flu/disease going around.
