While I cannot know exactly what you are going through, know that you are not alone and you are supported. To share some of my own experience: several years ago, my health slowly but surely declined to the point where simple everyday tasks and movement became impossible. I received little to no support from the medical world beyond basic tests because I was told they "didn't know enough" about chronic fatigue/adrenal fatigue symptoms and so the only option was to live with it or try to find my own solutions. Through my own research and work I was able to facilitate my own healing over a number of months. So, I intend through this session to provide support to everyone and I hope that this helps to continue to raise awareness for the medical world to support the healing. Healing is needed at both the physical and mental/emotional/spiritual levels. If you need this, I hope that this serves to be one part of your healing journey. 💛 Much love, Sarah

You're an angel on Earth, Sarah! I agree with you, as I've been in the same situation 3 times in my life (all were different health conditions) and healed myself through meditation, spiritual practices, therapy, and diet/lifestyle changes. I first began by using cassette tapes, way back in the day. I'm currently experiencing big health challenges, plus additional life challenges, for the 4th time in my life. This time, with "new and improved" issues (as I sarcastically say😂)! I'm exhausted. Your timing is always perfect! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experiences, and most especially for your service to others. I once heard, "As we heal ourselves, so do we heal the world.". I'll listen now. Love and blessings to you always.
      ☮️💗✨️

Sarah, you have been wonderful and I, too, am having health issues that doctors can only practice on me.
I, personally, don't know what questions to ask or how to get the doctors to listen.
Even the medical field had become somewhat of the conveyor belt system.
      I love your channel.
      Thank you.
      Stay wonderful 😉.

I've listened to this meditation several times at bedtime, but today I listened while I was at work. I was just doing a tedious, repetitive task so I didn't really need a lot of brain power. The meditation really helped to give me a sense of calm and keep my anxiety to a dull roar. Listening to your words helped me to realize that I'm too much of a people pleaser and doing too much for others while entirely neglecting myself (I work 2 jobs and am the sole caregiver for my mum with dementia). I think I've come to a point where I am beyond burnout and exhaustion and need to step back and learn to say no and ask for help before I completely lose my ish, lol. Thank you for a beautiful meditation and also for sharing part of your story.

I'm so glad you had this realization. Burnout can affect everyone but it is certainly no surprise to me that women are affected more than men. It is still usually the woman who is the caregiver (whether of their own parents or children) as well as working one ore more jobs., and jobs that often have unpaid overtime or an expectation of being constantly "on" or available. The workplace is slowly invading even our personal time as we are all reachable through our devices. Despite all of this, I know we can each take back our power Remember every yes you say is a no to everything else, and it is time to start saying yes to yourself. I absolutely know it is not as simple as any one factor but with the disease to please, people inadvertently take advantage and so their wants present as needs. Starting to assess what you need to do vs what can wait, be done by someone else or not done at all is one of those important steps. "No" needs to be a word you can say with ease. This meditation for self-care is more designed to establish self-care and help you understand what is currently missing from your life: ruclips.net/video/yttwWhuX18A/видео.html. And I will absolutely be doing more work to support healing from burnout and fatigue, AND setting boundaries in the near future. There are absolutely systemic changes to make, but we can still make changes in our own lives and I am here to support you. Thinking of you, Sarah 💛

I saw a commercial about 4 weeks ago and you can have a job and be paid as a caregiver to your parent through Medicare or Medicaid I can't remember which one. If you are in the States look into it or even if you aren't perhaps there is something similar wherever you are. Best of luck with everything

The world is getting so technological too technical & too fast. Too many people are addicted to their smart phones and not living simply enough. I remember a time when smartphones didn't exist. Life was lived slower & enjoyable. Not moving at a pace where you don't noticed the beauty in life all around us. The sun flowers appreciating the small things in life.....not moving at a speed of lightening. I wish we could live in more simpler times......We would have healthier lives. No hypertension..... fatigued...burnout.etc .. We would be more happier & healthier

I've listened to your tape every night for a week now. I've been very depressed, feeling an underachiever, and coping with impending death of my sister who has aggressive brain cancer. I've become a hermit, shying away from outside or, if I do go out, always acting in a bright " hi, yes, I'm fine thankyou" way.
I cannot tell you how much your tape is gradually helping me. I usually drift off to sleep before it ends but subconsciously know when you're closing, and always wake up!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will continue to use it for some weeks yet, if not permanently. xxxxxJ.

Yes. We "work" ourselves to a state of constant exhaustion and create an enormous debt of sleep that must be paid. When we finally allow ourselves to sleep, rest or relax then our bodies allow us to feel all of the built up need for as much as possible.
I hope you are feeling better and that you don't fall back into the old ways of doing things and missing out on sleep or other habits that are for self care and love.
      Blessings, Dot

Thank you so much for this. ♥️
I drifted off in the latter part and regressed back to a vehicle accident that happened 26 years ago, the very first time I can remember I had completely burnt myself out at age 21 from overworking and trying to control and get through sudden unexpected losses and life changes.
In this session I revisited the intense body sensations from the impact of the accident, in slow motion, I could feel my bones breaking, but from an inner witness’s perspective, only the physical matter of my body’s structures shifting, aware of the pain, but not feeling pain, just fully observing the physical effects and some mental/emotional confusion I felt at the time. It was like extracting the memory of the trauma from my bones in a lucid dream, fully aware. I realised that I’d been stuck in the imprint of that mode from the past for decades, despite immense and deep healing work done over the years.
Healing happens in layers, I know. This one had been so deep and stuck for so long. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I feel such peace and relief and hopeful for my future after this one session and looking forward to more.
Blessings and gifts in return!! ✨🙏🏻♥️

Very Thankful for this video! Such good timing as I wait to see the gastro doctor in November for suspected Crohn's disease, and deal with chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, TMJD (Damaged jaw joints, muscles and facial nerves, etc) , Bipolar spectrum disorder and a list of other chronic health challenges.
I find it hard to find a doctor who is willing to take care of me as I'm "complicated". When I was younger I really struggled to get anyone to believe that I really was in pain, sick and tired. Even now my family believe that I'm lazy, avoiding work, and that I'm exaggerating to make "drama" or that I'm saying stuff because of "bipolar thinking".
I'm hoping that listening to this video often will help me manage. Blessings from South Eastern Australia, Dot

I am so very sorry to hear of your struggles to be heard. While I don't know if it really is helpful to know you are not the only one, just know that I and many others believe you. Also, I'm making a note of what you describe for consideration for future writing. And do look out for a second session to help with these chronic conditions. I never quite know how long the writing will take me but I will very much aim to get this done in the next month. I promise I will provide more support for chronic fatigue syndrome. I'll be polling people on what is needed for support too, so look out for that too. I can absolutely relate (and again, want to emphasize I would never assume that I know exactly what you are going through). But I can relate to not being heard. After explaining my physical difficulties (unable to lift my hands above my head, unable to walk more than 3 blocks without needing to sit down, my body feeling as if filled with lead, waking up exhausted etc. ) I was given a link to a website for anxiety. The term "falling on deaf ears" certainly comes to mind. I will most certainly help you if I can. Thinking of you, Sarah

@@unlockyourlifeSeeing your caring reply to this person floods my heart with emotion. ❤ Thank you for being so emathetic, understanding and validating! I think I speak for many more than just myself when I say this. You think and feel deeply about our issues, you actually take the time to answer people personally, and you try to cater specifically to our needs. You truly have respect and understanding for us in our otherwise unheard struggles, and you make us feel heard and understood. All of this shines through so powerfully in your work. Your voice is so soothing and your words are so freeing! You help us feel free to let go of the guilt and shame of "not doing enough" for other people and focusing on nescessary self care. Just clearing away the guilt and shame, and knowing other people somewhere out there do understand, believe, and care about our struggles goes such a long way throughout the healing process! The work you do is so incredibly vital. ❤

Thankyou Sarah, Muscle Qween and the others who have replied. I'm still waiting for appointments, initial consults, answers, treatment, etc from the medical people.
Thankyou for helping me feel better, know that others 'get" what I'm going thru. The time that has passed has been tough but I'm still here and still determined to get answers and treatment so I can get back some of the capabilities/capacity I've lost.
EDS or hypermobility along with possible ADHD are some of the things suspected but not yet formally diagnosed. I live on a disability pension (nsw, Australia) so I need to save up to visit each specialist. They require up front payment to get seen face to face. I had hoped to get to see all the specialist but I haven't managed to see even one due to a death in my family, new health problems of family, my own health, etc.
I think I'm in a better place now with my mental health mainly due to having meditation, hypnosis, ambience and sleep story videos to listen to almost every waking moment. Before I discovered RUclips and the creators and community on here I often went without sleep or relaxation for days at a time because of pain and discomfort.
Now I have some tools, techniques, tips and tricks to help thanks to RUclips my symptoms are better managed and get out of control a whole lot less.
Thankyou to everyone who replied. It makes such a difference to know some understand the journey I'm going through.
Blessings from South Eastern Australia, Dot

Have you ever heard the saying "the teacher appears when the student is ready"?
To me it means that often the things we see as accidental or unplanned are the very things that can teach us the most about how to manage our lives.
It also feels like any thing can teach us if we are open to learning.
I'm so grateful for Sarah and many other RUclips creators... They have taught me so much. Originally I opened RUclips to watch a funny video while I was bed bound with chronic pain and chronic fatigue. That was in about 2009 I think. Years later and it is often playing while I'm awake as a way of staying calm and focussed then I switch to videos to help me sleep or stay asleep.

Don't worry about your mind wandering and don't put any extra pressure on yourself. Yes, repeating this will help to train your mind to calm. I have a number of videos to help quiet the mind too, in my sleep playlist here 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLqktjn8c06Sy9qRF6dcTGrvK_XVVj1tCt

Is it ok to listen more than once a day ❤

    • @unlockyourlife
      @unlockyourlife  23 дня назад

Absolutely! The general rule is to not listen to many different types of videos in one day as it overloads the mind. But the same video repeated in a day is fine. Just take a break if you feel your mind-body is still processing and healing. Overall, repetition helps to consolidate the messages at a deeper level in the subconscious mind which is of course connected (one and the same) with the body. Take care, Sarah

Ok sister , its looking like I have ME/CFS. One more MRI to go and they will probably shrug their shoulders and call it Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
So lets get on with the business of getting on , I pray this helps.
