    Ingredients
    (12 cheese tarts)
    (A) Tart Crust:-
    1. 85g ( 1/2 cup ) Soften butter
    2. 25g ( 1 & 1/2 tbsp full )Caster sugar
    3. 1/2 ( 25g ) Egg
    4. 155g ( 1 & 1/8 cup ) All purpose flour
    5. 8g ( 1 tbsp ) Milk powder
    Tart cutter diameter = 75mm
    Tart mould diameter for base = 45mm & top = 65mm, high = 20mm
    Bake in a preheated 140°C ~ 150°C oven for 15 minutes, or till slightly golden brown crust.
    Baking time & temperature may vary depending on the type and accuracy of oven. You may need to adjust your oven temperature accordingly.
    (B) Cream cheese fillings:-
    1. 165g ( 5.82 oz ) Soften cream cheese
    2. 35g ( 3 tbsps ) Caster sugar
    3. 10g ( 1 tbsp lesser ) Soften butter
    4. 1 Egg
    5. 35g ( 3 tbsps ) Heavy cream
    (also known as double cream, whipping cream, has a fat content between 36~40%)
    6. 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
    (C) Melted chococlate for decoration:-
    1. 10g ( 1 tbsp ) Chocolate buttons
    2. 1/2 tsp Water
    Bake in a preheated 130°C ~ 140°C oven for 20 minutes.
    Baking time & temperature may vary depending on the type and accuracy of oven. You may need to adjust your oven temperature accordingly.

    My Grandmother, because she didn't waste anything! As she was in her 20's in 1929.. the leftover crust she would sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake the irregular pieces.. Thank you for Sharing.

    This looks so good, just wanna know can it be made in a mini muffin pan if i font have the tart shells?? I tried your coffee buns n my hubby said it was much better than what we had in Malaysia 😁😁😁thanks so much
    Also , is this tart similar to Hokkaido Cheese tart???

    Half a egg
    In your pastry ? Why not say a small egg , what do we do with the other half a egg , how do I measure half a egg , in all my 40 plus years I've never heard of half a egg . Never . Please think about it .
    However they do look fantastic , so many Thanks ,

      You take an egg and whip the yolk and white together, then take half of the mixture for your recipe. You can add the remainder to your scrambled eggs for breakfast or make a second batch of these lovely tarts. This is not as unusual as you think. I have seen these instructions in other recipes.
