OG XBOX Controller Disassembly

Behold! An XBOX original controller! Not the Duke...
Gaze in wonderment as this controller is thoroughly cleaned out. In doing so the controllers' functionality is boosted to astronomical levels! (not really but kinda) I can now control the world! Muhwahahaha!... (not really but kinda)

My right dpad doesnt work anymore. Very new to all of this. Do u mow what may be the fix?

If you already tried cleaning off the silicone contacts and the contacts on the motherboard for the d-pad and you still get absolutely nothing for right, then there is either a problem with the motherboard or the cord somewhere.

Ugh was hoping for trigger disassembly... Right now I don't want to pry anymore for fear of it snapping. Trouble being trigger still joined with the potentiometer and I fear I'll need to desolder it or break some plastic tabs. I really didn't feel like getting the ol soldering iron out.

What size bit for the d pad screws might I ask

The bit size I used is Phillips size 1.
