The scaling tool is blocked on my autodesk alias since day 1, I've downloaded the 2021, 2022, 2023 and now the 2024, all share the same problem. Does anyone here know how to unlock the scaling tool :( ???

Never heard of this issue. If chatgpt can’t help maybe it’s a simple issue u are facing that it can’t recognize the issue. Either tool locator from help menu, auto desk forums, Reddit pages, etc. hope it works out eventually. Scaling tool should exist in all versions or if u can post an unused email, since ur leaking it on yt Ssomeone could try sending you their marking menus.

if I import an canvas image it automatically erases old

It puts the new image on top of the old image within the same canvas. You always want to have separate canvas for all your images. Click File --> Import, and click the square next to "Canvas Image..." to bring up the options. Make sure you check the "Always create New Canvas" option. This will put your new image in a new Canvas object in your Object Lister. Hope that helps.
