@hannesofie6071 what a fabulous idea. That’s an awesome name and you’re so right. BOTH evenings, the first being on the way back home, Michelle filmed that truly beautiful sunset, so extremely pretty and then the second night, or the first for her actually eating and living at her new home, there was this stunning sunset also. A beautiful girl, possibly named after a couple of beautiful sunsets. I also believe that’s a sign. Maybe Michelle, if you’re not 100% sold on that idea, MAYBE something like SUNSHINE? Anyway such an amazing idea and the ‘why.’ Very clever❤️❤️
Oh my gracious she is stunning. I like Esther for her… she is going to be the queen of this herd one day….. what a face she has! Boss approves of her! PS-well done Enoch!
The start of another interesting project. Lovely. You might want to look at how the Clever Cowgirl filmed her working with a young wild horse. There is no one to hold the camera for her. I think she trains somewhat like you do, so maybe her videos will give you ideas about how to do your filming and editing. She named her horse Scarlet. She has trained many mustangs. I think the first video about Scarlett is called something like, 'I paid $25 for this horse' Also, the videos about Scarlet might buck up your spirits after a tough day with your horse. Scarlett is about 1.5 years ahead of your horse in her training. Those videos will remind you there is light at the end of the tunnel. I imagine CC would be happy to discuss any problems with you that you run into. Education is her main goal. I'm excited to watch this new project! : )
Credence would be a good name for her, it means faith. We have faith you guys will take care of her and we have faith that she is in great hands and we have faith she is going to come to her full potential. Sending all the positive vibes that I can.
@8ERescueRanch I think it will take a lot of endeavour for successful outcome for humans and this sweet mare. So the name might reflect this journey. 🐴🤗
She is really beautiful and so lucky that you brought her to your lovely and peaceful ranch. Why is she not going to be in quarantine for awhile? Some other horses seem in very close proximity. Mustangs are amazing to watch.
She has been on a closed herd farm for 5 months. We feel she is “clean” and not infectious. No signs of illness on her and the other horses she was in contact with. We had to choose a place for her best safety too. That particular pen has the highest fences here. So far no issues, concern, or signs to be worried about!
Hi from down under You do some great work Michelle with help from Hubby and the kids - great music you added to the story and the sunset - awesome - Sunset Sally as a name ?
Some of my favorite names Eleanor Josephine, Tabatha Anne, Amanda Marie, Megan Elaine, Nevaeh Edith Marie, Hannah , Faith, Tessa , Margo , Charlotte, Stella, Mia,Sophia, Pray 🙏 that she can be helped ❤
Is there any way to get her outta the mud? What about grass? Ðo you not have a space w dry ground w grass? My worry, she can't have a ferrier. Just voicing my concerns w this set up, when you said, all winter.😳 Maybe you can put straw down for her feet? Idk, just thinking...❤🐎❤️
Unfortunately, she will have to be in dry lots until she is settled, gentled, and halter trained. She is very reactive and cannot be in regular fencing due to her innate desire to jump fencing when feeling fearful or pressured. Don’t worry, we won’t let her stand in deep levels of mud. Her pen(s) will be kept clean and dry as possible. We choose that area because it drains and dries up the fastest. All the mud on her body and clotted in her mane and tail was already there when we picked her up. 🫶🏼
@8ERescueRanch Yes, I saw her when you picked her up! I absolutely know you will take the best care for her! I saw the mud and no grass and panicked! Idk what's wrong w me! I'm excited to see her transformation.❤️🐎❤️
She has been on one farm for 5 months with the previous owner. She hasn’t been exposed to outside horses so we felt she was safe to be mildly integrated. Everyone she is in contact with is UTD on vaccines and boosters also but we pray we made the right decision. The only other area I had for her didn’t have high enough fencing in case she wanted out so we had to make a hard decision….
What she was in was definitely too small and dirty. She will have both large pens here when she shows us she doesn’t plan to try escaping. So far so good! Hoping we can open the gate to give her both large pens this week. 🙏🏼
Sunset! Think the beautiful Sunset was a sign..... 🥰🥰
Love it!!
