My friend bought red seat covers like these and we have really hot sunny days and now her white seats have red dye around the headrest and sides of seats so be careful .. I wrapped my white tesla in gold and black over top looks cool. I love that you are making your car different x
Nice video, big fan of your channel. Like the seat covers, not a fan of the color red for seat covers, but they look nice in your car. Liking the steering wheel options and the swivel screen device. Take care dude.
Thanks Mike, the lack of interior colors may have determined if I bought a Tesla or not. I’m waiting for the M3 refresh and hopefully it will have a lot more color choices.
Hi Mike! I looked at the ordering sheet from the link that you shared and under the details for NAPA, it says Faux Leather. I have looked into real leather upholstery and it is more expensive. I would love to get rid of the vinyl seats in my Model 3 because I get hot and sweaty in that fake material. I would be more comfortable in cloth, but that wear out fast. The real leather replaces the original material and is professionally installed. They said that it would cost more in labor to keep the original vinyl intact because they usually cut it off for speed.
Yes its Faux however its not cheap feeling and you would think it's leather the quality is really subpar also the material is ventilated. It doesn't get hot and sticky. You should try it out I've had mines on since this video and there perfect still!
@@MikeSeuss I am an old man with a model Y, only you and EV Dave are understandable for us oldies….you should do more on operation and travel-regardless, I think you’re great!
Hey!!! How are the covers holding up. Im going to lease for 3 years wondering if I'll have to replace them. Thinking about opting for black interior and just covering with red covers
Haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary, none of the items consume energy except the lights which are led powered it consumes hardly any energy at all
Great Stuff Mike, another fine video. I have a 2017 Model S and I cant see to find any Caliper covers that will work with the Model S. Do you have a source for something like this? Thanks, Mike R.
Hey Mike I’m a fan of your content and new subscriber. While I’m waiting for my MYP to get delivered I binged all your helpful videos. I’m a fan of the steering wheel, was it difficult to install? Will you be making an installation video?
Hey mike been a fan of your videos since before I purchased my model 3; I’ve been eyeing those same exact seat covers in red But the one you have in your car; is that the Napa leather or the litchi?
It's a shame that the covers have an exposed strap that can be seen from the back of the seats. This makes the installation look cheap. I have seen other covers with no visible straps, which is preferred.

Yikes!

Great video. Can't wait for part 2.
Coming soon!
Looking good! Last time I worked on your car it definitely had the white seats!
👍🏾
Love the ideas and implementation! Looks amazing!
Glad you like it!
Also loving my model 3 here in Toronto . Nice vid

Should be launching any day now, 🤞🏾

They’re holding up great and still look brand new, the quality is top notch and I don’t plan on removing them anytime soon!
@@MikeSeuss thanks for always replying.
Seat covers block airbags on side chair
the use of airbags as the airbag opening is reserved on the side of the front seat covers and do not prevent the airbags from deploying
Have you noticed any difference in power consumption (reduced range) with the things you have added that require power?
Haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary, none of the items consume energy except the lights which are led powered it consumes hardly any energy at all
I like that red
Thanks!

Thanks, Mike R.
I recommend the MGP caliper covers, they make ones for all trims of the Model S. The quality is good I’ve used them with my previous cars
@@MikeSeuss Thanks for the tip Mike, Just ordered my pair. Really looking forward to jazzing up my S.

Not too bad, it’s pretty straightforward
The link to the seats goes to a brand Empire, not Taptes?
Hmm thanks for bringing this to my attention
Debating to get a set it’s 579$
Have they been holding up?????

They are the Nappa version

The straps are supposed to go behind the plastic seat cover on the back of the seats, I was just too lazy to do it 😅
whole channel is a ad

Made it look worse
Lol
No, no, no.
