    Kyrie added rhythm to the Mikan Drill. Its like he dances when he's breaking down his defenders. Plus I learned how to handle the ball much better by putting the basketball in a plastic bag and dribbling it which he spoke about one time. He got the idea from Baron Davis who is also one of my favorite Point Guards.

    Nice. I recommend trying a bunch of spin variations with both hands. Try as many combinations aiming outside the box. There are so many spots you can aim for about 1-2 feet above the box that'll go in with the right touch.

    This is an insanely important drill Knew a guy who went from being a pure jump shooter got obsessed with the drill became the best finisher in the state ppg went from 17 to 40 just because he had a two pronged attack. Btw. Guy couldn't dunk either and was just an insane finisher hanging in the air.

    10% these type of drills, 90% game play (1v1, 3v3, 5v5) at the park/pick up ball/aau ball/summer league/etc. Does anyone really think this type of drill is why Kyrie is one of the best layup finishers of all time? NO. He played millions of games (1v1, 3v3, 5v5) vs defense, got real time reps vs D, and the creativity emerges.

    • @blaccknight1
      @blaccknight1 4 года назад

      These drills are good tho...but that's real. U have to put in the work at game speed against defense to in order to get better. I agree with you on that one... players need to understand that
