DeepGameBasket...
There are going to be times when defenders play defense and cut you off.
That doesn't mean the possession is over, but that you have to be good enough to have a reaction to STILL beat the defender: The Bump Euro is one of those reactions.
One of Harden, Tatum, and Giannis' favorite finishes, Coach Drew breaks down the bump euro, as he always does.
Be sure and take note of the footwork and timing of the move before looking to add it to your game.
**For those of you still with us. Be sure and watch this one all the way through, later in the video Coach Drew throws in some bonus knowledge where he breaks down the Jayson Tatum Side Step ;)
Be sure and comment to let us know what you think of each move!!

Drew Hanlen is litterally one of the best skills trainers out here, from ball handling to scoring he’s always helped me grow as a player and he’s inspired me to help players get better too.LETS WORK GUYS GET BUSY!!!!!

Kristaps learning from Kevin love
like if you actually go out to the courts and try these drills and tips right after watching
I started to do it, not right after but asap, and I've been improving my game
Coach drew always make the most unique and great vids. So convenient
First training video I actually appreciate, great knowledge of skill development. Thank you sir!
I love this coach so much this is definitely my favorite channel
You are the best teacher of RUclips, I swear
everything the coach says is gold, i wish i had a coach like this :D
Watching these small vids that show one particular move in the drive improves my game so much by slowing down the game to make it easier in games. I'm going to try and do this in practice today. thank you😌
coach drew is one of the smartest basketball skills coach in the world
We think so! :)
It’s amazing how much the game has evolved over the last 20 years, all these new offensive moves and mindsets have actually progressed so much since around 2010 ish , more so than probably all of time combined since the inception/invention of basketball period.
If I was taught basketball like that, I would be playing in some top league right now. 😂
But it’s always never too late to learn. Thank you.
"Some of you doing it like this... 'I don't even know how to do it the wrong way" - Coach! Hahahaha
Thank you gentlemen for the high quality videos. Developing options from which to chose is Gold. I'd love to watch a sneak peek into the defender side or said differently how to defend on a bump. Again, thank you very much for your great work and for sharing some of it with the world (I'm in France). Peace.
after watching this coach, i learned a lot of things. This coach a mvp. He teaches EVERYTHING. Wish i was rich enough to buy his coaching!
I love how your helping people a lot to get better at basketball
I wish I knew this channel long before I would master a lot of moves and thinks to this movie am now seeing lot of my mistakes thank you again
Grind never stop 🔥
Great content. You and Tim Martin do a great job with details!
Nothing fancy but effective and useful
Apparently, It's called "Fundamentals" 🤷🏿♂️😂
Thanks Coach Kevin Love
The best coach ive found
Coach drew i have a request. Could you make a video for slasher workout and drills plssss. I just need it.
Just do the custom workout and fill out with the right info
If I wud have known these moves coming up. I'd averaged at least 28 per game easy
How old are you bruh
Daniel Powell lmfaooo
Awesome tips with great explanations and extremely useful for my boys!
If this type of information was available when I was young I would have easily went to the league 80s baby
Great stuff always enjoy watching
Thank you very much for this exercise. Very nice move and good explanation. I really want to be your student
Now those are quality lessons
Thx 🙏🏽
Great stuff Drew 👍
Would be epic if Kevin Love taught Kevin Love some skills on camera
you're a very good great coach
nice bump euro step
Thank you -Peter. This is a great progression of the bump euro by Coach Drew. Appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. #EGTFAMILY
Huh has the nba rules changed?
Did the offense create the contact by lowering his shoulder into the body of the defender? In this case the shoulder is not past the defense and the violation goes against the offense.
If the defender is moving with you, yes. In the sense that you can camouflage your "hit" into him (which is more of a way to destabilize him and prevent him from jumping well than a hit to put him on the ground) during all the contact that is already happening as you're both moving towards the hoop.
If he's clearly planted already you can't ram him.
Show how to do the giannis travel move
Paul george movessssss
The step back with bump reaaaaaalllyyy effective i love it 😍 if only i could train like that in Training Centers Maybe i can improve my self more. But i just watch on youtube to get ideas how to improve my skills. Thank you for making this kind of Video. Those kids like me who can't join on training centers will love to watch this! 🤗
can anyone give me tips how to bump defenders?
I just watched the first 9 minutes of this before realizing I did that exact move like a week ago :) great video too
Thank you
Ur a legend
pure goold!
That's James harden skills
Absolutely! Harden does an incredible job of using this as well!
Good stuff
The kids I coach would be called for a charge dropping their shoulder like that.
5:44 "Be ready to throw" if ykyk
First finish is Gary Harris.
Second finish is Jamal Murray.
Saw these all year from these two in transition.
"Tough D"
Thanks
Oh good 💪💪
Coach , if you get jammed up wouldn't it also be useful to use a spin move to quickly spin off them and finish on the other side
Is it bad I knew what time this video happened based on everyone’s Kyrie 5s?
Kevin love a good teacher
this id great
the defender at the beginning is kinda cakey 🍰
7:23 that looked funny
iffective this moves relly
i miss adidas shoes😣😣
nice shoes coach!!
Imma use this on a fast break one on one against the defender I'm in 7th grade tryna be more than a defender and a passer 2nd year playing BTW
good luck
@@johncoleman6409 thx bro
Kai McIver I’m a 5”10 freshman and imma pass first defender im working on becoming a scorer .
Sometimes crap refs call a foul on the offensive player when you bump with your shoulder, so make sure you don’t lower it when you bump
On the second one can we do a spin move out of it?
That could work. I've definitely succeeded doing that in game for a counter move
These are the small details that really good layers manipulate to dominate average joes lol
Nice
I’ve practiced the bump stepback without knowing it was a thing
Hey drew, I can’t get into any gyms where there aren’t so many kids there. Any tips on what I can do?
Question i am 6 foot 1, 195 pounds and 15 years old so im gonna be pretty big when i get older, as of right now i am a really good shooter, any drills to work on being able to slash through defense to score and use my body appropriately to score
Alou Sidibe what position do you play?
@@MM-jc7uv i am a forward or shooting guard
Alou Sidibe typically slashers have good control over their body and can take contact. This is normally caused from good strength, developing strength will help a lot for being a slasher!
If only I could turn back time..
What adidas shoes coach wearing?? Can anybody tell me ?
do how to hit cluch shots like kobe
Fax
You can’t teach a person to be clutch. Either they have that killer instinct or they don’t which is what I consider being clutch. But I may be wrong though. Just my opinion.
@@404EyedAce you can teach to be calm and composed in the last seconds of a match. Egt x does that
Clutch shots are just regular shots. to get good at them you just have to be calm and composed in clutch situations and just hit the same shots you’ve hit throughout the game
lmao are you 10 years old?
5:05 5:22 5:42 6:41 8:37
That bump should be an offensive foul.
In my special olympics we cannot do the one hand on the baller or the offense can push off or it foul ? Special olympics state need to update I live in Indianapolis (Southside) we have to play on half court but we practice on indoor concert gymnasium at my church full court with only keys :|
I think I will use this to not lose in the playoffs.
👍
how to bump??
Is there a camp or practice session you run. My son needs this. You have info?
Yessir, stay tuned ;)
Thank you for calling what an offensive foul is. The NBA is trying to do away with that type of stuff
What shoes is he wearing ??
I mean drew
Andres Manrique harden vol 2. Idk what colorway tho
李宁赞助的?!
AYO
hey, can i attend your camp as a grown man? 😂 serious question though.
Guys i need help with the bump.
Case 1:
I'm currently a 5'7 guard not rly that buff and in a game usually facing 6'4 center (yes in my country that's a center) kinda buff. If i use my bump, most of the time i'm not strong enough to create that seperation, so what should i do?
Case 2:
The same me but facing a smaller guard than me and not that buff just like me. If i bump him most of the time it would hit his face or the upper shoulder area so it's kinda weird, what should i do?
What kills me is the world calls this the euro step....but I knew a dude doing this in 89' waaaay before anyone saw European bball
Moves and drills get new names but the fundamentals of those moves always need to be mastered. #EGTFAMILY
Hey man read this please ,can you give me some advertisements to how could I make it to NBA if I life very far from America, I ' m in grade 9 , 15 years old ,6-2 and I live at Madagascar I only train with many videos on RUclips and play games with random people at the park, hope you answer man.
BlackStyle BraineR practice
Everyday at least 4 hours not only basketball but also building muscles and to make it against everybody else there is some luck but if you work it pays off
@@sbk6064 thanks bro ' some motivation
I would be careful doing this move, I pulled it in a game once and ended up stepping on the defender’s foot and sprained my ankle.
🥳
He looks like Kirk cousins 😂😂
What is the name of your Adidas shoe??
They're beautiful damn
harden vol 2 im pretty sure
harden volume 2
This isn’t an offensive foul?
no... it only works when you got height the best thing to do is behind the back cross hesi then drive.. that bump shit dont work your gonna get an offensive foul in the nba.
That Euro as a 5'6'' guard is kind of an easy block
Throw the ball high and fast
Because your smaller your almost always faster
First
After this he get 100pushups because eating chewing gum.
You dont eat gum you chew it
But what if your defender in hella strong (me)
The lad, chewing the gum... I don't get it. Our trainer always made us spit out the gum .. or even sometimes forced your mouth open, reached inside and pulled it out... Okay, these were the 80'th and it was martial arts, but still...
Did you know that you can go to heaven for free? This one decision can change your eternity forever. Jesus died for both mine and your sins. All you have to do is confess that you’re a sinner and accept Jesus as your savior.
