The Beard #13

MAy you please do a video on slide bys? Obviously Kyrie!!!!
@@bluechip6619 That's a good suggestion - might take some time to compile the clips for it. Love finishes off 2 feet.
Manu was crazy with it 💪🏾
loved it, you might be the greatest basketball RUclips channel in the world , no cap, better than by any means , thank god I found your channel.
Thank you - I'm glad that people are enjoying these breakdowns.
don't compare, we add value to each other differently, respect that
true
After Ginobilli this move made popular. In Ginóbili this move was natural and his signature move, and today a lot of prime players used.
Oh you got jokes huh coach? 😂😂 You definitely deserve more subs cause your breakdowns have been super nice! One of the nastiest euros Ive ever seen was Manu's against Shaq
Yeah always try to squeeze some jokes in 😂. Glad you like them.
That bench joke caught me off guard
@@mutandaeffiong2685 i was hysterical when i first saw it 😂. (i always rewatch coach's videos on my spare time)
This channel gives you everything…gives you explanations in game time situations. Also explains key signs when to do the moves. I enjoy this channel a lot
i love the sense of humor about the bench bro :))) amazing, coach
💯😅
Repeat this and mean it from the bottom of your heart:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your son on the cross to die for me and take the punishment that should’ve been on me. Thank You for loving me and creating me. I repent of my sins and I confess to You that I am a sinner. Please forgive me and wash me clean in the blood of Jesus. I accept Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and my Savior. Thank you for saving me Lord! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!!
I really enjoy the step by step slow motion you give. Really helpful for me
Manu Ginóbili hizo famoso el eurostep y lo perfeccionó en los años 2000 .
Fire video as usual Coach. Appreciate you!
I don't know how you find all this footage, but you are the absolute best! Please never stop.
coach, thats great great work, i cant believe your channel only has a few followers, keep the great work! i believe some day there will be so many followers and people will understand how great u are!!
As a basketball fan who loves euro-ing, this is what i wanna watch all day. Great video as always. 👏🏼 thank you, Coach!
I love your videos it’s always give me a very good understanding
ive always had trouble with the euro step, especially from the left side. thanks for the help
Coach frikki the best coach as well as one of the most favorite Chanel lots of love to u coach
It was refined to art and really the person who brought it to the NBA was Manu Ginobili. The other person who brought the TEAR DROP move to the NBA was Tony Parker. Can you imagine watching those 2 perform alongside Tim Duncan for 2 decades. And a lot of people said the Spurs were boring. They re-invented the game. Now, every player in the NBA using both moves. Amazing.
Thank a lot Love the explanation
Thanks for this channel
this explanation is awesome, i finally realize what Euro's functionality and meaning. and if it doesn't get into all the way, what other variable combination can be applied.
You always have to have counters to everything you do on the floor.
Coach I commented on your other video yesterday, I hope you finish the finishing work out soon, some reverse, Underhand, Overhand, floaters and etc, especially through multiple defenders and through contact
Thank you you helped me play better against my friends!!
LOVE THE MOVE 💪
8:10 wtf that was the best 😂
Best youtuber when it comes to teaching basketball to young and old players
This is my favorite channel
Manu, the best!
Best yt Channel I ever found
Dope content, pretty sick stuff!!!
Thanks man, appreciate it. New video dropping in an hour!
broo you are so underated
you coach got the comedy in tooo, haha love it
Let's go!
I reciew your videos with my young players.
It inspires then. Thank you
Love to hear it! Inspiring the next generation, that's exactly why I'm doing what I'm doing. Wish I had a recourse like this when I was a young hooper.
Love how all the examples were legally steps 2. No gathering :)
Awesome video. Breaking down the fundamentals for young ballers.
Thanks - the next generation of hoopers is going to be even more skilled than this one!
One of my players did a euro to make a game winning layup today yes it’s the best move in basketball
This channel is amazing this is how I can build my IQ thank you so much
Love to hear that. Studying the game can definitely improve basketball IQ a lot. Keep grinding.
All I know is that this would have been called travelling back in the day. You are taking two full steps after gathering the dribble. That's what the rules say now, but there was a time where, if you lifted that last foot, you travelled. That second step established your pivot and you can't jump from it.
No
Its not always a travel. Pay attention to the "not always." Taking two steps after dribbling is totally legal in all levels of basketball. You can drive in, stop dribbling and go straight into your two steps when you euro, in which case you will never get called for a travel. However, some people try to cover more ground by using a "gather step." While dribbling, they step forward as they gather the ball to sell the direction their going in, and by this point, the logic is they have only now gathered the ball, and they are allowed to take two additional steps. The gather step can be the difference between a heavily contested layup or a wide open layup, as it can literally give you an extra 3-4 feet of seperation. That being said, its a two edged sword, while it could be very beneficial for you, you're much more likely to be called for a travel. The commenter states that the euro step is an illegal move, but this is not necessarily the case. The euro step, is fundamentally the same as a normal two step layup, but on your second step you change direction, thats literally it. I think the commenter was more confused with the gather step that has become more utilized in modern times, which I definitely agree should be a travel as it makes the game borderline unfair in a time where handchecking is banned and the offense is given a ton of leverage.
Has been in the NBA since like the early 90’s
Great move. Demanding on the knees, though, on that first step
8:09 The cool kid whippin out his Heelys in gym lmaooo
The euro with the pass fake is what I first learned to do and the first few possessions of the game it’s a killer then defenders catch on and at that point yoo can just actually kick it out to the three or whatever
Hey coach can you make a video about fadeaway?
We’ve been doing this move since the 70’s in the Philippines.
I think its good against defender looking for taking charged.
But against the Claw?
Coach F be clowning lol
Can you do a video on a protective dribble drive.
I'm working on a video on different gathers, how to protect the ball on drives.
Harden has the best euro-step. He us very light on his feet
i was taught a Euro Step in 1974 or so back in the ussr in the physical education class... I am sure it is almost as old as the basketball itself.
Bodiroga and then Doncic, yes!
Manu ginobili #20
I love how the commentators are calling it a side-step😂
This should be called, "The Baylor step" since Elgin used it, along with every other finish, in the 60's. He invented so many things and reinvented himself as a player when he lost his jump due to knee injuries.
Not sure why they call it a euro step...we did that back in the 80s and 90s.
@@enochjohnson3437 The difference should lay in two changes of direction vs one. Baylor would do a side step, which is a side step, what is called a Euro step is a fake going on one side and then a step on the other.
@Rapp Scallion you ain't no baller...no such thing as a euro step
El mejor euro step lo tenía Ginóbili
“You can also dunk it”
No coach frikki, no I can’t.
I love defending against people who love euro stepping. The key is to not over commit to their strong side but yet making it as though you are all while staying on the balls of your feet and keeping a low center of gravity. Anticipating their second step is the next key, cuz they will change direction, and since you’ve anticipated this, there’s no where from them to go other than the direction they’ve euro stepped towards and that’s when you’ve baited them into euro stepping into your trap.
Best place to learn the euro is the bench!!! 🤣
Euro 3 step
W
step back or side step breakdown my guy
Euro step - taking off on the opposite foot other than as usual! That's it. very simple ! Usually right handers take off of the left foot before a layup ,left handers will usually take off on there right foot .it a protect the ball with your body type of mentality
there’s a big difference between sidestep and eurostep most especially on Manu’s euro.. he revolutionized it that is why its being called eurostep, the long latteral and the short step combo being unorthodox and unique and also unpredicrable and unreadable tempo and timing that only Manu does!
1:07
I did it before i knew it is called eurostep.😀
Manuuuuu
"you can also dunk it" - of course I can!
Harden and Manu had 1 more thing in common both are LEFT HANDED. Don't forget Lefty Marciolionos
2:47 ha 😂
manu ginobili, the Best
En el futbol también se hace ,el mejor con ese movimiento era Ronaldo Nazario, dejaba torados en el piso a los porteros
3:33
Its a move you do naturally after years of playing... But, Euro Step? I seen Sprewell do it first. I had it taped we watched it over and over til we got it down. I'm fairly sure Stockton would utilize it as well. Manu did it better than anybody else but I doubt it was a step specifically from Europe.
euro step same as side step long time ago
I would call it a “handball step”😊
In 90s we didnt call that Euro step. We call it just a Normal side step
Ginobili is the Euro step God.
Dwyane Wade was always my favorite player, and he called it a 2-step. So I confuse the hell out of everyone when I call it that and not a euro 😅
Eurostep = Traveling
Can we get a low pick up video possibly ??
Gonna do a video on all the pickups. Low will be in there!
@@CoachFrikki 🐐🐐🐐
Way cool. Why is it called a Euro step?
2:48 😂😂
Now i know the purpose of being bench😂🤣
In harden's case, it's called the one too many eurostep
Giannis is the best for me bec. If that long leg. Hehehe
5:18 ~ 5:21
Dwade push this element into masterpiece!
No. Manu is the Master
manu ginobilli
Coach you my nigga
"Back in the day", the referees would always call it a travel. That's the truth. They were ignorant
2rd
i was born in the mid 70s in thw 90s we called that side step lmao
By the way.... In Europe we call it "Changing direction"....

Lol on the trivia question I said they were both left handed
6:20 and they are both left handed
Manu
I knew it lots of these are harden hahahah
It USED to be called, "TRAVELLING," and some NBA players get away
with MURDER on the court!
AKA traveling
