The magic of the Ponytail Facelift is our ability to treat all three layers of the aging face simultaneously: The sagging deep tissue of the face called the SMAS (which is the facia that covers the muscles of the face) the loss of fat volume in the middle layer the face, and sun damage and deterioration of the skin in the superficial layer. The traditional facelift separates the skin away from the underlying fat, and also separates the fat off of the muscle. Those tiny little blood vessels from the fat that feed the skin... You have to cut it. The blood vessels from the muscle that feed the fat are also cut… So the skin and fat of the face is somewhat de-vascularize by this dissection. This is why simultaneous full-face laser resurfacing is not advisable during a traditional facelift. In the Ponytail Lift™ / Ponytail Facelift™, we use tiny little incisions. The "deep plane" under the SMAS is tightened endoscopically without disrupting the blood vessels. The volume is replaced with fat, the blood supply to the skin and fat is preserved so we can perform a full-face laser resurfacing without undo risks. This is the Ponytail Facelift Difference. I like to show my results in Video because one can really appreciate how natural the face looks during animation. Here she is 6 months post op just finishing one of our signature facials without any makeup except for mascara. *** Note: her smile is bigger and her upper lip seems shorter but there are no incisions under the nose!!! how did we do this?? I just turned 33 but my entire life I had the foods around ny mouth and puffy eyes for over 10 years I wanted something done about it when I FINALLY discovered dr Kao 4 years ago at age 29 I found out the price of his ponytail facelift and although it’s EXPENSIVE I have been doing nothing but saving up next March when I turn 34 I will have him do my ponytail facelift !!!
